  1. The Rams and Eagles say otherwise. You get your QB when you can. With that said this is a deep QB class and who knows what can happen.
  2. Looking back it is hard to believe that Marino was taken last. Kelly had a better surrounding cast. Marino was the better QB. In the end the order really should have been Elway, Marino, Kelly. Great post because history is an interesting thing.
  3. The Jets gave up a lot to move up. We can hope their pick fails miserably. It might be very likely that the top three picks are QB’s.
  4. I guess we can have a contest to see who has a more blighted lot as a fan, sadly. We can take small consolation in the idea that Browns fans have it worse. As for the questions you originally asked, if Glenn stays healthy you will be ecstatic with the trade because you gave up very little to get a pro bowl caliber LT. If he doesn’t see the field due to nagging injuries you’ll be pissed off. Preston Brown is an enigma. He has had some mildly bright spots and some mildly dark ones. He strikes me more as a two down scheme fit that an all around good LB. If your staff picked him up with their eyes open to this he will be, as others have said, a solid but not stellar player.
  5. Sho’ me the monay ..... please. Are you guys secretly in love?
  6. Exactly, Teddy Bruschi can go take his opinions elsewhere. However, I will say there is a ton of negative stereotype to get past when you speak about Buffalo in other parts of the country. Having recently moved back here, living in bigger cities in-between, like everywhere Buffalo has strong points and weak points. My personal observation is that the weaker points are exaggerated by the climate and the strong points don’t go as high probably because of the deep poverty here.
  7. Another Rosen opinion thread. This was very needed.
  8. They would be crazy to pass up a QB with one of those two picks.
  9. Bring home the next JK and all is good!!! Congrats Jay!
  10. Kidding aside, Beane is a man on a mission and the results so far have been very impressive. The dude is playing chess with the league. If he can get in the top 5 and land “the QB” this guy may get himself a statue downtown.
  11. This guy seems to be very good though this upcoming draft will make or break him. If he lands “the” QB and some additional quality depth in the draft he will become the best GM in Buffalo other than Polian. String together some very competitive teams and he will move past Polian. It’s fun to watch this unfold.
  12. Is this Gugny and his grill? I don’t know if I can contribute without verification.
  13. [This is an automated response]The thread is no longer contributing positively to the community and therefore the discussion has been closed.Thank you. To the original OP - welcome to the board. I listed your thread as gone awry due to the lack of sincere participation. You might want to post your thoughts in one of the many QB threads, including those specifically discussing Allen.
  14. I tend to believe you are correct. Though I might also see the Bills getting him at the third pick without the need to trade away quite so much.
  15. Yep, why would you declare this now? Seems crazy to me. I’ve got to believe they draft one of the named QB prospects and if so let them compete. This declaration just seems stupid unless they really believe that Tyrod has more to offer than what was on display in Buffalo.
  16. Cheers!!!! Hope you stay in your old age!!!!
  17. That’s a funny jersey, but sad. It just goes to show how crazy the Browns will be to not take QB at #1. If they take a RB they are truly nuts.
  18. Who cares? Thank the Lord that the Tyrod experiment is over in Buffalo. Let the coaches and the front office do their job. They clearly have said Tyrod is not the guy. Wish him well in Cleveland.
  19. It’s interesting because other than QB’s the league seems to get the idea that big FA signings are not the simple path to productivity and wins.
  20. Clay has not bee consistently healthy and production out of the position has been spotty.
  21. The Bills had major issues with their WR corps last year yet there has been no wiff of activity to improve this group so far. The actions suggest that the Bills are comfortable with what they have. Perhaps a draft pick or two adds to the group but it is rare that a draftee contributes in a big way their first year. With all of the buzz around QB somebody has to be available on the other end of the throw.
