Sorry I did not catch the humor - bad day today. Maybe I need to go to the bar nude tonight. That will get me arrested and fired. All will then be well.

I could care less about nudity that is contextually appropriate. However, hanging out in a pub in the nude is hardly contextually appropriate. What’s the point? You want to go to the beach without a swimsuit, have at it, you want to walk around a German spa in the nude have at it but a bar?

I have worked in foodservice also and it’s the reason why I generally tip well and I do not send food back unless there is something clearly wrong with it. I’ve heard what can happen to returning lousy tippers or picky people. It’s not pretty (and no, I never did anything disgusting - there were stories aplenty).

I applaud your sentiment but the OP is also correct in that tipping has gotten out of hand, The concept comes from sitting down to eat a meal and having a service person wait on you and your guests. The better the service the better the tip. Think about a normal waiter / waitress, they have to take the order, handle questions about the menu, deal with requested substitutes, fill or deliver your drinks, bring your food to the table, refill drinks as needed, assure that everyone has what they need, possibly take another round of orders (for desserts) and then assure that all was well which the meal when finished. Compare this to the now ubiquitous tip jars where some person who makes a standard sandwich or burger or whatever expects you to tip them. As for pick-up food - think about it there is little service involved. With that said, I do tip well for a standard sit down meal, generally, 20%+. I do not put money in those ubiquitous “tip” cans. I will tip for pick up but at a lower level as there is some level of service involved in the situation.

Yeah his performance of “my guitar gently weeps” at the RRHOF performance leaves a bunch of talented musicians around him, sorry DC Tom, standing there gazing at him while they play. What may be even crazier is that the producers were apparently reluctant to let him play as there had not been enough “practice.” Apparently, much of what he did was spontaneous. However, the whole exchange and poll is then invalid. It is built on the absolutely false idea that there are somehow two crusts. There are not. The crust is the crust. Therefore, the conversation is really about the crust that extends beyond, or perhaps, over, the other components of the pizza. While, I suppose maybe there is some combination of events that might render the crust beyond or over the other ingredients to be “good” while the portion of the crust under the other ingredients is “bad” there are not two crusts.

I agree mostly with what you say here because Oliver has to prove himself. However, Kyle’s play may have been slipping and throughout his career Kyle has been part of defenses that have consistently struggled against the run. There are scheme issues and no one player is to blame but if Oliver does not live up to his potential and hype or if his somewhat smaller size for the position works against him then the Bills could be in trouble against teams that run up the middle, again.
