The MVP Race is 3 Players & Why they Can Win
Never NEVER Give-up replied to Wizard's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agree (at this point of the season). Last year Josh got screwed. He was clearly better over the course of the year but because the 3 INT performance in the opener on MNF, people couldn't let go of turnover-Josh despite winning-out to clinch the division. This year, thus far, Lamar is lights out. Last week he was making Josh-Allen-throws. He's been playing great. Josh is playing more controlled and therefore taking fewer risks yielding fewer rewards. -
Schefter: Metcalf considered “week to week”

On the bright side, at least you weren’t thinking of Terry Metcalf….that would have made you really old!!! -
Devin White Released by Eagles. Should we take a flyer?
Never NEVER Give-up replied to TonyBeets's topic in The Stadium Wall
White is only 26. He was a monster in TB, not sure why he didn't work out in Philly, but being part of a Fangio Defense could be part of the explanation. Fangio looks for certain types of players to fit his D. So does McDermott. So the question is would White fit? That's up to McBeane. What I don't want to see is another CJ Mosley-type outcome (monster in Balt and now in NY for the Jets). I don't want White to end up in NY, NE or Miami for the next 6 years if he can reclaim his beast-mode. -
It's so hard talking about an MVP for Josh. I wish him nothing but the best, but the Championship is the goal, whether he has 2000 yds or 5000 yds passing is irrelevant. Of course once the season is over, whether the Bills miss the playoffs or win the Super Bowl - I want him to win all the post season accolades - of course!!

Week 2 - Bills at Fins - 2nd half game thread
Never NEVER Give-up replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Dolphins look horrible (he says with glee). Bills don’t need to be good tonight, just steady. Bernards injury is a pectoral. Anybody have more detail? -

The Athletic Survey: Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson?
Never NEVER Give-up replied to Sierra Foothills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agree. Underrated as evidenced by no MVPs and the lack of Pro Bowl nods and All Pro selections -

Kirwin was Jets director of player administration, where he negotiated contracts and managed the team's salary cap -
Really happy with the practice squad signings. Especially at RB, WR, TE, DE & DT . . .

Jets haven't had a QB. They were a mess then and, frankly, are a mess now w/Rodgers and his drama. I would retire if I were on the Jets too!

I would say our RB's have been poor in the short yardage area leading to Sharp's conclusion. When the ball is in Josh's hands, he can pass, roll out & pass or run or just run it. My favorite, is spread out the defense and run a QB draw. Regardless, I don't get nervous when the Bills are in-close. I'm anticipating a TD. Frankly, I was surprised by Sharp's take/stats. The Bills offense is a top scoring offense, and we all know they are trying to improve the running game (except for that display against the Bears!).

NFL+ Premium - What is this?
Never NEVER Give-up replied to Never NEVER Give-up's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm a Season Ticket holder and received a few emails about this, so I thought I'd ask for input. If ANYONE watched the Patriots-Panthers last night - we REALLY need to thank our lucky stars. I only watched a 7-10 minute recap on YouTube - it was the most god-awful display of football. Usually they show the best plays, so even bad games were tolerable, last night the Pats-Panthers abused the privilege!! -
I received a discounted offer to access NFL+ Premium for $60 (instead of the usual, annual $100 cost). What is this? What are the benefits? Why would anyone want this? Thanks Mafia - appreciate you feedback!

Joe Marino's Bills "Mt Rushmore"
Never NEVER Give-up replied to mushypeaches's topic in The Stadium Wall
McDole was a DE, not a tackle. On the 60's Championship Teams, it was Dunaway and Sestak in the middle and Day and McDole on the ends. -
You shouldn't have any trouble getting into the Blue/Red Practice. It's in the stadium, well attended, but not sold-out by any means.

I saw Prisco's explanation on YouTube. Before I relay what he said, the Chiefs had 9 in the top 100 and the 49er's had 8-9. He did say the Bills were loaded with a lot of very good players and lost a bunch of really good ones this year.

Poyer talks about 13 seconds
Never NEVER Give-up replied to JakeFrommStateFarm's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm long over this. Saw the game on NFL Network last night. Josh AND Mahomes were both magical! Anyone who bashes Josh because he didn't beat Mahomes would be like bashing Marino because he couldn't beat Kelly - they're both in the HOF!! (and Marino was better). But to point #4 above - I would have been celebrating too - my defense isn't going to allow 40 yds on 1-2 plays to allow the Chiefs to tie! I would have mugged (held/tackled) Kelce & Hill on both plays (Def Holding - 10 total yds in penalties). It would have allowed the Chiefs a Hail Mary attempt at worst or a last ditch untimed down at best. -

Why market the team overseas when they can charge insane PSLs and get their $$ that way?
