Quinton Spain comments on release from the Bills
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not only did Spain miss on Donald, which is easy to do; the play before, 3rd and 2, he got beat as well. It was his man who made initial contact to stop the Bengals RB and then Donald came in to help clean it up. I was talking to my buddy who is a Bengals fan early in the day before the game and said Spain is the only Bengal player I don’t like after his comments. They made zero sense and then his performance showed why he got let go. -
Yea, the OP brings cliché sayings into discussions which have very little relevance. He wants the Bills to do what the Rams did the past 5 years. Trade picks and mortgage the future for one Super Bowl win, although he was arguing for the approach before the Rams won, so that part isn’t clear. I want a Super Bowl win. I will say watching that celebration afterwards, the only person I was happy for was Donald and maybe Whitworth (I didn’t see him before I turned it off). The rest of the players all seemed glad they finally got a ring for themselves. Maybe I’m not explaining it right, but i think when the Bills win it will mean more to everyone who accomplishes the feat.

AFC teams unclutch in playoffs
atlbillsfan1975 replied to ProcessTruster's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well when you have Q. Spain in there getting beat like a drum, there’s a reason you can’t rush the ball. Bengals oline is ok not great. Rams dline is amazing. Now they will fall apart and be horrible for 10 years. -
Danielle Hunter, DE, the perfect trade candidate
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Estro's topic in The Stadium Wall
Again, I don’t think anyone in here makes fun of other teams strategies. I’m not making fun of the Rams. If they win tonight I will applaud them. If they don’t win the SB tonight the window will probably be closed on their chances. -
What type of Offense will Ken Dorsey bring?
atlbillsfan1975 replied to bubba2018's topic in The Stadium Wall
The issue won’t be style of offense, it will be about play calling. Having right personnel on the field to maximize a plays potential. There will be a learning curve but I think if Dorsey, Brady, Hall, and Kromer work well together, we will see good things. -

I don’t see how this phrase is relevant to this discussion. -
Danielle Hunter, DE, the perfect trade candidate
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Estro's topic in The Stadium Wall
If the Rams lose tonight, that’s the reason not to copy their approach exactly. I am all for trading our first round pick for a pass rusher. After that I’m not sure how much more I want to emulate the Rams style if they lose. -

Check back with my after the SB and I will let you know. -
Beach chairs are back! (Kromer hired as OL Coach)
atlbillsfan1975 replied to MWK's topic in The Stadium Wall
Looks like a nice vet. love to see this type of FA signing. Bring back Bates. Draft IOL 2-4 round and then with one of the 7th rounders. Cut D. Williams and Feliciano, restructure Morse. Oline coule be set for two years. -
Keyshawn Johnson downplays Mac Jones hype: ‘He ain’t Josh Allen’
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
I am interested to see how ole McCorckle Jones looks this year without Josh McDaniels. Keyshawn might be saying McCocrkle is no Josh McCown. -
Zuerlein mock draft...Jordan Davis DT
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall
Gosh I really hope Davis turn out to be the player I think he is. You will look foolish for this comparison. No way Davis makes it to 25. He will have an excellent career. Btw, plenty of “fat guys” as you like to call them, have had amazing careers in the NFL. I’m not responding to anymore of your posts on this subject. Just putting my take on the record. -
Wait, would Belichick want a player with Rogers skill set? Honestly, with your assessment that Belichick wouldn’t want Josh as his QB, I’m not sure you should be debating anyone about QB rankings.
-
I don’t think any reasonable fan wants a RB early in the draft. The offense is missing playmakers with elite speed. Speed at RB would add a wrinkle to this offense. Screen game would benefit.
-
I want a fast back to compliment what’s already in the rb room. I’ll take a smaller, quick back from a small school even. 5th round or later.

Offensive stat that needs to be improved - YAC
atlbillsfan1975 replied to CorkScrewHill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Some has been play design and some is lack of speed. Maybe both get addressed with a new OC and personnel through draft/FA. -

Beach chairs are back! (Kromer hired as OL Coach)
atlbillsfan1975 replied to MWK's topic in The Stadium Wall
Ford is interesting to me like D. Williams. Do they have the same physical traits as Brown, Morse, Bates, and Dion? Those four seem more like guys who thrive in space and moving. Ford and Williams look like guys who are slower and more suited to firing straight ahead. I could be totally wrong. I just hope we draft and bring in FA who match the style of play we want to install, I believe Beane will. -
How bad is it for Lesile Frazier?
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Marvlevydraftdaygenius's topic in The Stadium Wall
I have a feeling there will be a 30 for 30 or some other type of documentary done on the Houston Texans debacle when it is all said and done. Lots going on down there. Good luck to Lovie, always seems like a nice man. -
Beach chairs are back! (Kromer hired as OL Coach)
atlbillsfan1975 replied to MWK's topic in The Stadium Wall
I wonder if Beane is going to take a similar approach to guard/center that he took last draft regarding Tackle? Grab one in round 3 and then grab another in round 5. Sign Bates and another vet or two in FA like they did with Spain and Feliciano in 2019 to compete. Feliciano and Williams are cut savings good bit of cap. Morse’s deal restructured. -
2022 Offseason Primer Position Group: Secondary
atlbillsfan1975 replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall
No way Wallace is coming back. Some team with more cap room than sense will sign him and get a very average player who benefited from longevity in a system that covered up his lack of athleticism. I think the Bills finally stopped trying to blitz with Levi because he was always a step late. McD just got him paid like Josh Norman when he left Carolina. -

Does he prefer one type of blocking scheme over another? Or does he tailor it to fit the personnel/OC’s plays? -
The WR FA list for 2022 is very intriguing…
atlbillsfan1975 replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall
Russell Gage is intriguing and probably the level of FA signing the Bills will be looking to make. Gage flashed some, but isn’t a number.l 1. Gage was forced into that when Ridley stepped away. -
Spotrac has Levi Wallace valued @ $9M/yr. Thoughts?
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Estro's topic in The Stadium Wall
Levi should send McDermott and Frazier Birthday cards for the rest of their lives. Wallace is this defenses version of Josh Norman, while Levi won’t get the same big deal as Norman did, $9mil a year for a player with his skill set is the equivalent. No way I pay Wallace anywhere near that. Bills need SPEED in the secondary. Wallace is slow. He is routinely a half step late, I think they stopped using him to blitz because of this. -
This is an amazing hire. Honestly, this has sped up the turnaround of disappointment from the Chiefs game.

Buffalo pizza is amazing. It is a slate crust, the dough resembles more of a bread consistency. Also the ovens used will more likely be bread baking ovens, there is a difference. Just need to go to one of the good spots. I’ve had pizza everywhere in the US. Just recently went to New Haven and hit the big 3 pizzerias. I’ve been to John’s on Bleecker in NYC. Tried the different styles of Chicago pies throughout Chicago. I’ve had pizza in Naples, Italy (Neapolitan style isn’t for me). Every kind of pizza I’ve ever had is better than Pizza Hut. I’d eaten frozen pizza first.
