    I agree, I think Elam keeps learning this system and by years end White and Elam are the two best CB’s.

    The fact that they have not signed him says a lot. Baltimore isn’t Cleveland, they are a well run organization, maybe top 3 in the NFL. I think the F.O. Knows that committing big money long term to Jackson is a very risky proposition, and one so far they aren’t willing to take.

    I had the dreaded high ankle sprain happen in college. I got rolled up on by a running back while playing oline. By the time I got back to the locker room my leg was already swelling. My point being the fact the Oliver sat around during half time and still tried to tape it up and go says something. This staff is cautious about injuries.

    Let’s not jump to conclusions. The fact he came back after halftime and tried to play makes me have hope it isn’t the high ankle sprain.

    I like Morris more than Sweeney due to his versatility. For as much as the coaches love Sweeney, they sat him last year after his terrible drop in the Carolina game (I believe). Sweeney is a dime a dozen guy, we have enough leaders and good guys in the locker room.

    I don’t want to rush to judgement, but I saw him on one play against the Colts matched up on a TE and he looked slow. Nothing to be concerned about yet, but something I will be watching.

    If it’s close for Beane and McD, I think they go with the younger, cheaper, more upside player.

    Cook flashed. That outside run and the 6 yard pickup for the first were smooth.

    Coaches have other LB’s a chance today. Let’s see what happens next week. I wonder if coaches are trying to decide if they give him more time and allow other teams to see what he can do.

    I think this year we see the total collapse of NE. NE has done Jones no favors with coaches or surrounding personnel on O. I mean if that team goes 8-8 and Jones has 4,000 yards and 30 TD’s, maybe he should be considered an MVP.

    I agree and then started thinking, “what winning head coach is a great interview during the season?”. Some are entertaining because they go on rants like Saban, but hardly any give much up during an interview. Beane on the other hand offers some great insight into the teams direction once you began to see the patterns of info shared and moves made.

    I was speaking with an NFL Alumni earlier this morning. He said none of the guys this year belong in the hall. He mentioned Terrell Davis as another guy who had a questionable resume.

    He actually praised a player in the post game thread. I had to rub my eyes and read it again to make sure.
