    Yea, this game helped his confidence. You could see Allen encouraging him after the long catch and run. They really want him to be the speed option. 76 yards from scrimmage, not too bad. Cook and Singletary could make a good backfield duo the second half of the season.

    I recall watching that game and really getting into it even though the Bills were not a good team that year. It was more about the fact Pitt was a very good team that year (they ended up representing the AFC in the Super Bowl). It was just a fun game and for a moment we forgot about records and enjoyed the game.

    In 3 or 4 years from now when Von is maybe ready to retire, maybe that’s when you go make a trade like this. Not now, I’m my opinion.

    DT was the final piece for this D. The middle of the field is so important to protect. I think that’s why the first big FA signing by Beane was to get Star. It didn’t workout so great but now they got the right guys.

    Odd timing of this, considering he just had an incredible catch to beat the Chiefs. He has missed a couple games due to injury. Let’s see how the rest of the year plays out. I am interested to see what tinkering Dorsey and the rest of the coaches did over the bye.
