  1. I had the exact same thought. I saw Efe Obada on the field in the third quarter. There were several players on last years D who were solid but not great. Feel like those have been replaced, while others have taken a step forward in their development.
  2. Why? We are fans. We have the ability to look ahead and predict things…I am going to go out on a limb and say none of us on this board have any direct influence on the results of the game (no matter how superstitious we are).
  3. During the draft it appears the Bills value o-linemen with high Relative Athletic Scores (RAS). These type of players are more appropriate for the pin and pull run game and good pass blockers. The Bills struggle trying to just blow teams off the LOS, they excel when they are out in space and using angles to wall off defenders. Nice write-up. Thanks.
  4. I think the Chiefs are going to be plenty motivated for this game no matter what. They have last year's loss at home and the narrative that had Buffalo won the toss in the playoffs they would have won the game.
  5. Milano was out that game. I wonder if that will lower Neal's snap count.
  6. I’m hoping time together will produce a more cohesive front. IF they struggle against the Chiefs, I wonder if at the Bye they look at shuffling Bates to LG and maybe another option at RG and Saffold moves to BU.
  7. The guards have faced better d-linemen than Jones already. The guards have been “ok” so far. Jones is a problem, but the bigger issue is the Chiefs appear to have solid d-line depth like Buffalo. Bills haven’t faced a team yet besides maybe Miami who have several capable d-linemen.
  8. I don’t think so. The Raiders blocking scheme strength appears to be the weakness for the Bills. The Bills aren’t straight ahead power blockers, they rely more on pin and pull style. This is in large part to the Bills having good athletes along the oline who are agile and mobile. Hoping the Bills just do what they do, there isn’t a defensive scheme that can slow down this offense when they aren’t shooting themselves in the foot.
  9. Like how much Von interacts with the entire team. Leader.
  10. I wonder if some of that decision has to do with the style of defense a team plays. Say a team plays more of a "bend but don't break" style of D, the head coach might not view giving the opposing team the ball at midfield as that big of a deal. A HC may choose to bet his D can keep the opposing offense out of the end-zone.
  11. I’m sure Beane did call Carolina after the HC gets fired to see if this signals players are available.
  12. Makes me think of that Josh quote, “either you figure it out or you get figured out” (or something along those lines).
  13. Non sense. This guy likes hearing himself talk. Josh hits McKenzie in the fourth quarter for that TD nobody bothers to click on this video.
  14. From the poster who wrote, "Tua emerged as an elite quarterback".
  15. Yep, the Steeler fans I know do not like Tomlin.
  16. I left the game midway through the second quarter and walked over to the Horseshoe Casino. I checked the score on my phone but I didn’t start watching the game till Bass lined up for the kick.
  17. He will come around. R-E-L-A-X.
  18. Just left there, it is overflowing.
  19. Did they report if he notified staff of the injury during the game? Or showed signs of the injury?
  20. Doyle was injured in game it appears and pretty sure he didn’t come back into the game after the injury. Your trying to tie the two events seems like a reach. Not to mention a knee injury compared to a brain injury is like comparing apples to oranges.
  21. Not the same thing at all. And I am confused, is there some question of when he was injured?
  22. This was my thought after hoping Tua will be ok. No way will those go unnoticed by players. Where would you rather play: Buffalo where the team exercises caution around injuries or Miami where it’s a win at all costs and that includes your well being?
  23. Lamar has been throwing the ball a lot better and has been trying to emphasize it. I’m not saying Lamar is Josh Allen or that Baltimore relies as heavily on the pass, but this isn’t the same offensive approach as three years ago.
  24. Did you know the Bills run over 50% man coverage?
