He does look like he could be insurance for Poyer. -

I wonder how that RAS projects for safeties. -

Well this pick should help calm speculation of what the Bills are going to do with Edmunds. -
Rd 2, Pick 63 (31): RB James Cook, Georgia

This is exactly what we need for the offense. As a UGA fan you guys are going to love this pick. -
Interesting take. Gabe Davis was able to see the field his rookie year with 3 vet starters on the roster. Not saying the Bills don’t take an IOL in the second, but I see a tougher path for any OL to crack the starting lineup or contribute this season without a serious injury. Beane will find us a great player in the second. Whoever he takes will probably be a rotational player to start the year and have his role increase into eventual starter when some of the one year signings leave.

Everything I read and watch shows he has great instincts. He is a well rounded athlete and played WR in high school. He also cracked the books at UF. I will admit I hadn’t done a ton of research on him till a few days ago and then post pick last night. Sounds like a great fit for the Bills.

Trent McDuffie - CB to Chiefs

So with their two first round picks the Chefs took Tarron Johnson and AJ Epenesa? And gave away picks. I can live with that. -
Levi Wallace gone to the Steelers on 2-year deal

This staff made Wallace serviceable, Just think what they should be able to do with Elam. -
He just isn’t a good talent evaluator. Pro or college. Brady made Belichick, not the other way around.

I go back and forth when it comes to defensive players and what I think Beane will do. In one regard, history says they won’t draft a DB high, however Beane has shown he will adjust his philosophy. The main reasons he might go DB higher is because of Poyer and White, not to mention your CB2 for the last 3 seasons leaving.

I wonder if one of the vet available options Beane likes sign between now and the draft. It’s a risk/reward game for the player. If you like Buffalo but want more money, you can wait till after the draft and IF Buffalo didn’t find a CB they valued maybe you get the extra million a year. Or the alternative happens, Bills get a player or two they like in the draft and stop calling.

Anytime someone randomly quoted a TLC song I think of the movie The Other Guys with Wahlberg and Ferrel. Pretty funny movie. Draft no for me in the first round is Hall or any RB this year. None are dynamic and worth a first. I wouldn’t mind IOL but not Linderbaum, although he is a wrestler from Iowa, something McD may like; his size is a concern. Small guy with small arms.

Gilmore to colts… Bills WERE interested
atlbillsfan1975 replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall
We can agree to disagree. For me he is the definition of play for pay. Which is fine, I get it. He doesn’t strike me as a guy with a bunch of heart or a team first mentality. I do think you can look out for your financial interests while also giving max effort and being a good teammate. To my point, has Gilmore ever been a team captain anywhere? I couldn’t find that info after just searching. -

Gilmore seems to play well the first year of a contract. After that, good luck. -
Joe talked about this on LockedOn Bills last month. I could see the Bills doing something like this for a few reasons: Bills have spent multiple picks at the same position in drafts before. McD D doesn’t seem to overly value CB 2. Having said that, drafting a CB high now (1-3 rounds) that can turn into your CB 1 in a couple of years, could help with cap management.

I think he has his head someplace, not sure it’s the sand. -

They didn’t back up a truck. Diggs salary is fair now and will be a value in 2 years from now. -
I bet fans said this every time teams and games got added.
