  1. Josh only overran this last year in the playoffs when the world championship was on the line. He certainly toned it down during the regular season. I’m ok with him running it in the playoffs if it’s our only chance to survive. Which it was.
  2. Song is not that great. I liked the Frank Reich song based on supertramps “bloody well right” or the Trent edwards song based on plain white ts “hey there Delilah”.
  3. in every game but one or two I’m like “our QB is way better”. It’s a good feeling.
  4. I never understood how he got, as his first job in the booth, the lead commentator for MNF. Why not start with some local cable show work. The naturals like Tony Romo are extremely rare.
  5. With all that he gets totally shut down in the playoffs. One and done.
  6. Beane can exercise cost control by continuing to be the master of the second shelf free agent market. Any pro player target of Beane, including Diggs, tends to be a third round or lower draft pick. He knows that the salary history of any highly drafted pro has been artificially inflated by their draft spot (often accompanied by name recognition pro bowl votes) and he’s not going to pay for it. He sees value where a pro has worked himself into a starter role after being drafted low. I would rather see Beane build through free agency and trades. He’s shown to be better in those areas than in the draft.
  7. Realistically, I think you would have to start at 4 1s to be taken seriously but that would not be enough. A top 3 QB like Josh can carry his team to playoff contender status every year even if the rest of the roster is totally mismanaged.
  8. Are Cupp/Woods really elite? My perceptions is that Goff was making receivers out of these guys, especially seeing Woods up close in Buffalo. Woods was a ceiling 2 in Buffalo and that’s being generous. With Goff, Woods has been elevated to a 1a.
  9. Rams don’t have a first round pick until 2024
  10. As much as I am repulsed at the concept of a third place game I am certain that I would watch every play if the Bills were playing in it. 11. The fact that Yeldon could not get on the field even with the below average to poor play of Singletary is likely to scare off other free agent RBs from signing with Buffalo.
  12. Maybe Moss was vastly better than Singletary or Yeldon in pass pro.
  13. Sounds crazy but the UFA backup QB I want is tyrod Taylor. He’s kind of a poor man’s josh with his running ability and has decent/good arm strength. Tyrod needs to see receivers open and we have some now that can get great separation. We could go plus .500 for a few games with Tyrod.
  14. Everyone wants a replica of tyreek Hill. The evidence is that almost all of the attempts to find a tyreek hill fail. You more often get a marquise Goodwin who can’t stay on the field. I don’t know how hill stays so healthy at that size. He’s apparently as tough as they come.
  15. I’ll be scouting the game for free agent acquisitions. Fournette seems motivated for once but his hands are not that great.
  16. Taking a page from the Diggs trade playbook I actually think the sweet spot In value is trading that pick for a proven player who is in the top 10 in his position. Let’s be honest a pick at 30 is essentially a 2nd round pick. At the same time it can still be sold to a trade partner’s fan base as a first round pick. Why not eliminate all the doubt and get a proved top ten at his position player. Plenty of teams will be unloading assets this off-season.
  17. That puts it into perspective. I left the sports bar in 2018 wondering how it came to be that Andre Holmes is getting significant playing time for us. That’s far worse than wondering how you played poorly in the AFC championship game.
  18. Allen’s will to win is such that I think he will be inking a somewhat team friendly deal. He knows his legacy and endorsement value is bound up with Super Bowl wins, which will not occur without a supporting cast.
  19. The Singletary drop with the score 9-7 is particularly mind-numbing. We are in FG range and answering their score if he simply just doesn’t drop the ball and we show RB pass catching threat. I couldn’t believe it when it happened and 9 plays later the game was indeed nearly over. They get to tee off on third and long. Then a 5 play TD drive. Then a 3 and out while our O pressing. Disgusting drop.
  20. McDermott has been getting more aggressive overall. He went for it 4th and 1 mid field first drive.
  21. this makes the beat down a little easier to accept. There is less likelihood of complacency than if we hung with the chiefs for 3 quarters.
  22. I like an old physical corner in free agency who’s nasty and savvy enough to stand up to Kelce and old so inexpensive. Simply an anti-Kelce acquisition. We don’t need to spend on speed to go against Kelce.
  23. Yeldon looked good because our 1 and 2 looked bad. I still can’t believe singletary declined so much between year 1 when he looked like a breakout star with one question mark being durability to a JAG. His drop in the AFCCG will never be forgotten.
  24. Pettine has always been known as a go for broke DC, always susceptible to the big play. Brady knew this. Pettine probably took gambles in getting the 3 picks as well.
  25. That is awesome. Wish we could have gotten him the W. He must have been taken aback at being recognized with a mask on and a hat. Masks must make life easier for celebrity types.
