Josh vs Tua collegewise
Charles Romes replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Tua seems to have a ceiling of a top 12 quarterback. I am happy if any opponent has that kind of ceiling because it gives us a considerable advantage. Our QB has a ceiling of 1. -

Extend Gase -
I always thought Flacco should be targeted as the backup. With Flacco’s arm strength you don’t have to install a whole new offense for when the backup plays.

There is the 1960 team photo but I’m not sure there is any color photo or video of the Bills actually playing in their 1960 lions uniforms.

Diggs has what others don't
Charles Romes replied to Might Rather's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No one ever complained about the Bruce Smith rules. When you are arguably the league’s best for a sustained period you have earned the right to make your own rules. -
Diggs first team all-pro chances?
Charles Romes replied to Sammy Watkins' Rib's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Josh needs to stop running it in all the time for easy scores so the receivers’ TD stats can be padded. -
I was worried about him going to the Jets until Sunday afternoon around 4pm. Now the Jets have nothing to offer.

The year they decide to abolish the 2 seed bye and no home crowd. Wonderful.- 62 replies

This Thread is about Kyle Orton
Charles Romes replied to Brennan Huff's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
For a guy that didn’t care he put up a good season, especially when you consider he was coaxed off the BarcaLounger right before the season started. Beat a good Detroit team on the road and Green Bay. Two highlights of the drought era. -
Week 15 Around The League

He’s one of the few that does not have an insurmountable talent gap to play at Allen’s level. -
What to do in 2 meaningless (?) games

Good thing happen to teams that play to win the game. 76 raiders. 07 giants. -
Wait Kelvin Benjamin Was Part of '14 draft class?!
Charles Romes replied to HardyBoy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Watkins would be having a career worthy of a #4 overall pick if it were not for the nagging injuries which no one could account for. Played a key role in KCs super bowl run. -
I may cry if we don’t win the super bowl this year. This team is not perfect but it’s at worst a top five team as of this moment. You are only this good this late in the season every so often, and in our case maybe once in 27 seasons. Any thing less than a super bowl victory this year will be a bitter disappointment IMO.

Encouraging words for the Bills
Charles Romes replied to 60’s Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I recall this game post well. This was posted on Sunday night just as Allen to Diggs were willing the ball downfield for their second straight score in the second half. I think all Bills fans were getting emotional at that time given the realization that the franchise’s fortunes had fundamentally shifted. The post was well timed and captured the moment. -
Will other teams make draft mistakes because of Josh?
Charles Romes replied to BisonMan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I laugh every time I hear how the organization gave Josh the perfect environment to succeed. They did everything to destroy his career his rookie year surrounding him garbage that is essentially entirely out of the league just two years later. The starting veteran quarterback was Nate Peterman and the number one receiver was Kelvin Benjamin. The fact that Josh somehow made it through when given nothing is just another testament to Josh’s greatness. -
Foster showed promise for half a season because he was competing for targets with Kelvin Benjamin and Zay Jones

Dawson Knox needs to go....now.
Charles Romes replied to Kwai San's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Has the franchise had one TE play in the pro bowl? One? Even the watered down pro bowl where they invite everyone in after the starters decline? Even Keith McKeller who was dynamic for a few games never put up a full season. Clay was above average for a year or two. Reimersma achieved above average status. It seems almost harder to land an elite tight end than an elite QB. -

Kansas City Chiefs @ Miami Dolphins 1PM GAME THREAD
Charles Romes replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes Tua’s ceiling is top 12. Josh’s ceiling is 1. What irritates me is the Jets QB next year may have a ceiling of 1 and that organization disgraced the game to get there.
