  1. Past hour
  2. The driver hopefully learned from their mistake. Next time just run the mofo's over and back up in case you missed one.
  3. If Brady proves he is close to the offensive genius that is Kyle Shanahan, I agree the group of weapons inherently looks a lot better, especially since we have Allen not Purdy. I'm just not convinced Brady is close to that level. I'll say this though, I have more confidence that Brady - with a full offseason to install his own offense and coming off a couple years of NFL OC experience - will raise his coaching prowess substantially, than I do that say Mack Hollins will suddenly turn into a starting caliber outside WR. But like I said above we are talking about a LOT of best case scenario outcomes that need to come true for this offense to be at a championship level. Something like Brady proves he is a top 5 coach, Kincaid proves capable of being a #1 target, Coleman hits the ground running, Shakir proves he can take on like a 60% increase in his target share with a much smaller relative decrease to his target efficiency, and everyone on the OL stays healthy and plays the best football of their careers. I wish that instead of betting on several best case scenarios we had instead made it the priority of the offseason to over-invest in the offense because throwing a lot of talent at the problem would have been the easiest route to success. As it stands I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a post-6/1 or trade deadline addition of a legit talent. Otherwise the most likely outcome is that the offense is a bit of slog this year, we perform even worse in the playoffs than usual, and we enter 2025 still needing one major investment to take the offense to a championship level.
  4. OK you're right, it does expire the 16th, I was thinking it expired on Tuesday the 14th. In that case no idea on the release. Kind of puzzling as to why they don't advertise the day way ahead to attract viewers unless the schedule is so complicated with last minute tweaks that they themselves don't know when it will be ready for release until only a few days prior??
  5. Dude - they traded down and took one of lower ranked wr options. They could have gone big and moved up for odunze, gone less big and got Thomas. They traded back and let 3 more wr come off the board. I would call that punting. I hope they are right and Coleman outperforms the rest. As for your other stuff. I believe they are a legit WR away from a serious superbowl contender. They are even without one. But a legit wr would be a huge impact. I didn’t know that made me not a fan and hate the team. I don’t like how they addressed the position. Didn’t like it last year or year before and this year even more. It has been the biggest downfall in my opinion. Hopkins on this team last year and we are in the Super Bowl.
  6. Smoot should be #67 in honor of Oliver Smoot who was 5'7" (67 inches) tall
  7. There was no obligation to disclose the payment to anyone at anytime. That's why the ND in NDA means non-disclosure.
  8. Not sure which of those plays ought to be allowed. Not the clothesline tackle, not the face mask, for sure. Maybe not flipping a guy and driving him head first into the ground.
  9. “Justice Thomas participated in cases related to Donald Trump’s efforts to rig and then overturn the 2020 election, while his wife was pushing to do the same. He was the lone dissent in a case that could have denied the January 6th Committee records pertaining to the same plot his wife supported. “At the bare minimum, Justice Thomas needs to recuse himself from any case related to the January 6th investigation, and should Donald Trump run again, any case related to the 2024 election.” Wyden speaking again to senators in the finance committee,
  10. Davis has a great opportunity to contribute as a #2 and maybe get to a #1B as the season progresses. Running backs can put up some decent rookie numbers. Van Pran is interesting. He could possibly start as a rookie, or he might back up and hardly play. Coleman and Bishop will play a lot. It is important that Beane hit on these two picks. Carter will play some to learn, and line rotation is important to this defense. A few of the rest could show things on ST.
  11. See I no longer think it was this deep class. 1-3 are probably going to be elite. The rest are exciting hope to hit prospects. Some of which are over 22/23 years old and I’m not losing sleep over them. I’m glad we got Coleman. I think not double dipping is an acknowledgement that Shakir is a massive part of this offense.
  12. Looking at it through Super Bowl winner's is such a narrow lens given the lucky bounces/injury luck that's required to win a Super Bowl. Go back to 2011 (when the rookie wage scale kicked in) and give me the final four teams each season. Off the top of my head, Falcons - Ryan and Jones. Cardinals - Warner and Fitzgerald. Cowboys - Romo and Bryant. Steelers - Roethliberger and Brown. Saints - Brees and Colston. Packers - Rodgers and Adams. It can be done. You just have to spend smartly elsewhere.
  13. Yea if I saw what was enough to trade him 24 in 23, I’d have done it. Regardless how it affected our SB chances for 23. He proved in 23 and at the end of the season he wanted out. Other than Nukua there weren’t any WRs to be had to replace Diggs in the draft.
  14. It's a good point, but I think that's why most swallowed the Diggs trade as necessary medicine. But to not double-down in the draft with such available talent, have many scratching their heads
  15. 1. Bishop Briggs 2. Carter Jimmy 3. Solomanzo 4. Coldemen 5. Van Pranzles 6. Sammie Davis 7. Ulofishu 8. Hardly 9. Grabbles 10. Claystein
  16. Knox not only missed time with the broken wrist/surgery, but when he came back you just know he wasn’t 100% in the run game or the pass game for a while. I love our TE group. .
  17. So overdramatic sheesh. It's not coming back, who cares what people say? Let people reminisce.
  18. At this point in their careers, Claypool is just as good as Gabe Davis. He's the perfect replacement.
  19. Look at their cap for next year. Hurts contract really kicks in for 25. Plus, they stink. At least all their defense is on rookie deals. They really blew it vs the Chiefs. They won’t be back. Correct but that doesn’t change the fact - look what teams are doing now or planning to do for 25 bc of positional value and percentage of cap hits.
