Speaking from personal experience, I think “culture” is a good way to turn around a struggling entity. Culture talk also can get old when people start seeing the same old results. The preaching of culture is something that can easily go bad when results become stagnant.

Yes and Calais Campbell is another 6 ft 7 guy from Miami But he filled out his frame to a 310 lb beast who could play every single position along the defensive front In any system or front Greg has kept the body of a defensive end he's definitely never maxed out his frame as 275.. and he's not an explosive pass rusher off the edge He might be better suited if he did bulk up to 290 + playing outside and pass rushing on the inside And maybe his career would look different 6 ft 7 while being a former high School safety his athleticism should be on full display ... if it's not... Maybe he should bulk up

As long as I don’t have to listen to Howard Simon anymore lying about all the foods he never ate in his life 🙄

I stopped reading when I read the Bills won 5 straight Super Bowls. The Bills won 5?? Where was I? I miss everything! -
Would have been fool's gold. The Texans were dominant and controlled the game throughout.

I would fire McDermott before I had my morning coffee. -
Bills squad has some takes I hadn’t thought about before. Like how Beane and McDermotts posturing through interviews may be pointing to a bit of a rivalry between the two - part of their post trade deadline discussion. Jeremy is goated for taking Beane’s outburst in stride and pretty quickly being vindicated by the teams play this season.

Is watching the Bills fun for you these days?

We just need better receivers -
lol this all assumes he’s worth keeping. After last nights uninspired mess, a strong argument can’t be made that he is. how bout hire a guy who can bring in coordinators who aren’t sycophants he can toss under the bus when the Bills perennially fall short of expectations?

It's the McDermott way. He has conditioned us We will examine w a fine tooth comb every Allen throw looking for what he could have done better The defense? Hey, you played great for half a game, take a bow! -
Well we will see what Rousseau looks like when his extension and those $20M hits actually begin next year. With the cap around $300M this offseason and very few producing DE's available I bet he would still have gotten at least the same deal in UFA. Benford coming off this season might be looking at a one year prove it deal and if Strong and Hairston finished well the Bills might have let him walk. Rousseau's career so far is very comparable to Calais Campbell.........who didn't start his run of All Pro years until age 28........and is IMO a future HoF'er.

McDaniels is the key ingredient there. He's not a good HC, but he's a great OC, and very good w/ QB's. I have no issue w/ Allen spending time w/ Maye. Bummer that Maye is so good, though. Lots of talk in Pats land about another 15 year run of domination. Probably wrong & presumptuous, but if true, I will definitely be seeing a hypnotist to help me forget that there was ever anything called "football." -
Whatever the reason, ultimately it’s not working.

I was at the game and let me tell you what was happening downfield

That play was coming back on penalty anyways. The reason Knox was open was Davis took out the defender that was going to cover Palmer. The guy that ended up covering Palmer was the defender that would have been on Knox had the ball been thrown that way and the other defender not taken out. -

The problem with this is the game is 4 quarters, you need to play good the whole game. How many times have the bills scored 31 in the first half and 7 in the second half? Did the bills take their foot off the gas and try to burn clock? Or did the other team make adjustments and shut the bills down? I can hear the other coach now, "I know we got our asses kicked but the D played great in the second half". Horse *****. -
First thing I’m doing as the new GM
-
Thankfully, all teams do not have all the pieces in place to stop Josh like the Texans have: 1. Two lockdown CB's that can handle the Bills WR's one on one, allowing their Safties to focus on Cook and the Rushing attack, while simultaneously forcing Josh to hold on to the ball too long....which leads to number 2. 2. Two premium Pawn Rushers who can take advantage of the fact that Josh had to hold on to the ball to wait for receivers to get open. 3. A Middle LB'er with size and speed that can spy on Josh Allen, and can actually catch him and stop him if he does try to run it. The Texans D sure made it a tough day at the office for #17.

Do you guys remember when McDermott lost the Denver Monday night game two years ago because Micky D iced the kicker when he missed the field goal then made it on the second shot? How he fired Doresy right after the game ended despite the bye week coming up in two weeks? Hey, I guess there wasn't an issue with the defense even though they just gave up a game winning drive to that abysmal Russel Wilson offense! Oh wait, the Chiefs had 361 yards and averaged 7.5 yards per play in the divisional round. -

People invest a lot of emotion in the Bills and sports generally. I do. If you care, it hurts when they lose. But if it starts to hurt too much, take a step back, it is supposed to be entertainment not a life-or-death struggle. It is particularly important to remind yourself of that when you have zero control over the situation. All the "fire him" stuff may be cathartic, but you have simply no control over who the owner, GM, coaches or players are. You are stuck with them. And all the ranting and raving will change nothing. It is actually kind of funny to read it in a sad sort of way. All the bitterness and anger. It's like being in a bad relationship. Play in fantasy leagues if you want some control. I own a couple of racehorses and at least I get to choose the breeding for the horse, the trainer, the jockey, I have some control and can take the glory or the blame-- it's on me. But with the Bills, you are merely a passenger and can do nothing but take the ride. If it's too bumpy, just take a break until you can participate without undue emotional distress.
