I'm sorry I don't have the same political stance as you. Doesn't mean it's some disease to disagree.

Wide Receiver Train Full Speed Ahead- CHOO CHOO!
Success replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
If the Dolphins would do that deal, we'd be silly not to. We're not going to get a player in the 2nd who is close to Waddle's caliber (most likely). So many draft picks don't work out. Waddle would fundamentally change our offense, and make everyone in the WR corps better. -
1. Put tariff on Argentine exports and China exports. 2. Watch Argentina suffer economic consequences, and watch China stop buying U.S. soybeans. 3. Redirect tariff money to U.S. soybean farmers. 4. Give Argentina $20 (up to $40) billion dollar unsecured loan through weird currency transaction meant to obscure what's really happening. 5. Tell Argentina we'll buy more of their beef because beef is expensive here. 6. Watch demand for U.S. beef fall, beef prices to ranchers go down. 7. Watch ranchers complain; redirect tariff revenues to ranchers 8. Rinse, repeat. Command economy has entered the room through the backdoor.

I mean, yeah, a well thrown ball helps any WR. That's not unique to Coleman. Having a size/athleticism mismatch and then throwing a ball that negates that mismatch is bad.

Based on this reply, It’s apparently not very obvious to you

So not only does Coleman need a specific set of circumstances to warrant a target, but even the target needs to be a specific kind of throw?

Plausible X/#1 receiver trade candidates — are there any?
Nihilarian replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
Really, all it would take is to have Josh throw a few passes deep, and if he connects with one, it would scare the bejesus out of the defense and get them to start dropping deep and back off the run game. Seems like that would open up the offense even if they are low-percentage pass plays. When was the last time Josh went deep on a pass play, and he normally has time in the pocket to throw deep? We also know that Curtis Samuel can run a 4.31, Moore a 4.35, and Shakir a 4.43. More than enough speed to break away. It's all about how the Buffalo offense is schemed and set up. Josh Allen's average depth of target (ADOT) for the 2025 season is 8.03 yards, which ranks 8th in the NFL. This figure reflects a more underneath passing style compared to previous seasons, with recent game-specific ADOTs varying, such as a low of 3.3 yards in one recent game, according to SumerSports and Herd Mentality -
Still has his white house job.....probably will come with a promotion.

Here's the difference, IMO

It's been 9 years, and he doesn't know if we're there yet?!?..........even HE can't give an identity to his own team I'm going to be sick.

You picked the one reply in that thread I didnt condemn it, which is hilarious and such on brand for you. Such a stupid argument you start too..."You didnt condemn Kirk in a bills politics thread, so now you cant say anything about this totally different topic"... its third grade level reasoning. But since you wanted clarification on my Kirk comment about being divisive, here is a great link that you will probably refute or deflect because it isnt Fox.

Why would we? Brady is happy with the current crew, even if 1/3rd of them are out at any given time.

I don't think a fade to Coleman should be the primary read, but if nobody else is open and Coleman is 1 on 1, I would probably rather take my chances throwing a jump ball to him than forcing the ball to a smaller well-covered WR. For whatever reason, most times when we've tried to do this, Josh ends up throwing it low into Coleman's chest instead of giving Coleman a chance to play to his strengths. Just seems like the chemistry isn't there in Year 2, which is pretty concerning. The other issue is with our current roster, he basically has to lead the WRs in snaps by default. We have 3 guys capable of lining up out wide, 1 of whom is even less proven/promising than Coleman. So unless we're in a 1 WR set, chances are he's going to be on the field. Can't really take him off the field unless we get a new WR (which may just be Gabe at some point). Building a WR room around a young, raw kid with no alternative to him is just a failure on Beane's part.

I know a guy that has quite a bit of land and he likes to throw parties for events like Sept/Oct away Bills games, boxing matches, MMA fights, etc ,etc, and uses a massive outdoor screen/projector. It's quite an amazing setup tbh. He is salivating at the thought of getting the aluminum benches. He wants "at least a dozen, hopefully 2 or 3 dozen." I don't know if he's planning to build a small bleacher section or what.

Joe Marino's 9 point plan for improvement
Scorp83 replied to D. L. Hot-Flamethrower's topic in The Stadium Wall
Joe Marino is a beast! Love that he put this information out there. #2 is the biggest one on the list! Just stop giving Keon the ball, it’s literally a wasted play. My Goodness, Beane really messed this one up didn’t he? Because there’s no way to justify drafting Keon without facing any scrutiny! if you move Keon to the slot, your taking Shakir and/or Kincaid off the field. If you bench Skakir, then you’re going to get destroyed for paying him $38M … it’s just bad. Beane should have definitely used those wasted defensive picks to move up and draft Rome Odunze or Brian Thomas last year. Or The 2023 Draft, move up to 18 with Tampa and take JSN. My point is, Beane needs to be much more aggressive in the 1st Rd of the draft to move up and secure a true stud WR. I’m sure everyone would rather have JSN over Kincaid, Dorian Williams (2023 3rd Pick) & Justin Shorter (2023 5th Rd Pick)…cause that’s what it would have cost to move up 7 spots! -
McDermott doesn't know either:

That injury update wasn't exactly what I was hoping to see after the bye. We need one of Kincaid or Palmer back. Given this report, I'm very surprised we didn't make a move for a WR w/ the time off.

Palmer, Samuel, Bernard and Kincaid really hurt the team when they can't play. Advantage Carolina. Samuel is a guy that Josh trusts. Milano i don't ever expect back, therefore not disappointed when he's out. Happily surprised when he's in.

Wasn’t Keon Coleman early 2nd round ? If so, no 5th year option.
