  1. Past hour
  2. The fact that the safety kept his hips set to attack that route the second Allen racked the shell, and then didn't come off it until very late has me thinking you are correct. There was probably a window if Samuel cuts the route off because the 'backer didn't get a deep enough drop, but Samuel didn't. As it was, it was probably a dangerous throw when all they need was a first down.
  3. Sorry man! I know it hurts bad. Had to put my dog down exactly one month ago after 18.5 years of life. Hurts and sucks so I understand. Im a person of faith so that’s how I help myself get through it. But sending good and happy wishes and blessings your way and peace in this tough time.
  4. Watching it again, it was clear to me that Vrabel was going to frequently bring a safety up into the box as a pseudo-spy on Allen. So often the Pats' defense lined up with that one safety deep. Reminded me of the old Bears 46 defense. I blame a lot of that on our offensive gameplan and our lack of talent at receiver. Vrabel played the odds and dared us to come up with something deep. He's watched the tape as well and seen how Josh tends to live with the short-intermediate passes in this offensive scheme so far this season. Putting another body in the box is a great way to stop both our run game AND Allen.
  5. Where's the evidence? He looks like exactly the same player to me
  6. I didn't realize ripped passes at the LOS counted as a PBU. If correct that throws another alarming thought out there. Our front isn't getting in the throwing lanes and batting balls at the line either.
  7. JMO but I think, and have thought since he entered the league that Maye is the real deal. The Pats are the only competition I see in the AFC East for the foreseeable future.
  8. All I keep hearing is how T Johnson is an all pro. We are horrendous on 3rd down every year and guys just streak wide open across the field like Childs play. Him being out there also makes it so we can never stop the run. It’s a complete joke. WTF is this guy so good at?
  9. Yeah but it's more fun when you try to find meaning in the randomness. I mean, these were three of the most horrendous regular season games the last three years. There must be something to it!
  10. Simon

    Keon WTF?

He clearly worked hard in the offseason and I'm not going to suddenly assume that's not the case because Coach sat him for a single series midseason.
  11. Taylor Rapp and Cole Bishop are not as bad as Tre White looked out there. And even behind them, you have Cam Lewis and Demar Hamlin. Bishop is still learning and getting better. The weakest area of that secondary in my view is ...Ingram and Strong are the backups, and that is worrisome to me. Tre'Davious White's struggles: While Diggs beat multiple players, he reportedly had particular success against cornerback Tre'Davious White, whose coverage was described as poor. Cole Bishop's missed tackle: Safety Cole Bishop was beaten on a crucial play when he missed a tackle on Diggs, allowing the receiver to turn a short pass into a 30-yard gain. This set up a Patriots touchdown that gave them a 20-10 lead in the fourth quarter. The thing is, Bishop should get better, and that missed tackle should haunt him. Doubtful White will get better.
  12. It is. Which is why Allen did not throw it. You can try to word-soup it away, but its an INT waiting to happen if he throws that when you wanted it thrown. He only appears only because he scrambled and the defense shifted. Its also funny watching the people upset at him for throwing "home run" balls, now wanted him to throw an ultra risky endzone pass.
  13. 2018: @ BAL @ MIA 2022: Vs. NE (Only win) 2023: @ PHI vs. KC (Div. Game) 2025 Last night. He also called the Giants upset against the Chargers last week. You know, the one where everyone got to rave about Jaxson Dart? Here's the data I have: https://www.pro-football-reference.com/officials/HochSh0r.htm.
  14. I expected us to split the series with the Pats this year. I did not expect us to go 17 - 0. I didn't watch the entire game. What I did see made me think the Pats wanted this worse than we did. Vrabel will be a challenge every game. We've been playing with our food for a few weeks now. KC did it last year and the Eagles are doing it this year. There are just too many games and too many injuries in a 17 game season. The league is watered down and the regular season just doesn't mean as much. We didn't play badly but were the less focused team on the field. I still think we're the best in the conference
  15. Well, McD said it himself, the defense is meant to dare teams to pass the ball so they are taking advantage of it. What a guy to help out the other teams offense!
  16. regardless that's a big about face on him from what bills were selling preseason
  17. Seriously. You can’t have just one!
  18. This is bull####! When McD came here had to play young guys because they were in a rebuild. A lot of those guys became a big part of this team. Now he puts to much emphasis on the playbook and plays aging guys who are more familiar. It slows down the development process of our young guys and a big reason we don’t get much out of them.
  19. Thank you. That was what it looked like on TV but you can never be 100% sure with limited broadcast angles and their burgeoning propensity to forego replays and instead opt for the human drama of a view up a coach's or QB's nostrils.
  20. When CC said in the first half something along the lines of “man, even if the Patriots put on a strong showing and keep this close that absolutely would show they are back..” Something like that. When I heard it I said we’re “f…ed.” Everyone got the assignment.
  21. Kraft goes to every game regardless of where it is. Doesn't Pegula hit the road games too? NFL owners typically make accommodations for other NFL owners throughout the league. Buffalo had 11 penalties and NE had 8 penalties They were flag happy all game. The personal foul 15 yarder on the Bills LB for bumping heads with Maye was not deliberate. To me its incidental contact.
  22. Simon

    Keon WTF?

Probably slept in and showed up late for a practice or some other dumb ***** a 22yr old would do.
  23. The Patriots have a much easier schedule with only the Bucs as a tough opponent. Umm, well, and perhaps Buffalo at NE. That is, if Buffalo fixes their secondary. Pats schedule, Saints, Titans, Browns, Falcons, Bucs, Jets, Bengals, Giants, Bills, Ravens, Jets, and Dolphins. Buffalo schedule, @ Falcons, @ Panthers, Chiefs, @ Dolphins, Bucs, @ Texans, @ Steelers, Bengals, @ Patriots, @ Browns, Philly, NY Jets.
  24. Milano was awesome for so much of his bills career. For a few years he was my favorite player. The guy had a nose for the ball and was at the center of so many big moments for our turnaround…..how much longer are we going to keep going forward here? At what point is the injury thing to much. We need to just say thanks and turn it over to a younger healthier guy.
  25. I mean some things are just coincidences.
