  1. Past hour
  2. I’m gonna go ahead call it… it’s a must win!
  3. I’ve gotta know who hooked up Brady’s hair. Went from thinning and on the way to balding (like his father) to a full, thick mane. Supposedly some clinic in Rhode Island, I need the deets 😅
  4. It's depressing. And just keep in mind there's more coming throughout the season... There always is. All you can do is hope it's not our best players, but each year, even some of them inevitably go down too. Then you have our best offensive weapon sitting out (which might help keep him healthy), combined with a limited cap that can really hurt our ability to get decent help to fill in for these guys. Sure would be nice if we could snag Terry McLaurin right about now.
  5. I don’t know how anyone could not be concerned with the injuries we have at WR, LB, S and K. Also is there a bug going around as a number of players have been out with illness?
  6. I agree. The Bills hold the cards. He loses $5 mil if no deal and he sits. In that case, the Bills gain cash and cap space. From a biz prospective, he's losing. The bills are losing less. A trade would need to be very favorable for the bills to bite imo.
  7. They did honor it by paying Tre his remaining guaranteed money. The rest of his contract was payable by being on the roster; which he wasn't. As much as people don't like the concept of non-guaranteed player money, it's what the players and agents agreed to. The idea that teams don't comply with their player contracts is not supported by facts. If a player is cheated out of guaranteed money or benefits, the Union and the player agents would drag a team to arbitration in a heart beat.
  8. In fairness - Henry wouldn’t have been on a similar drive for the Ravens either. But I agree he’s not those dudes. Im not sure he’s even Kyren Williams - but I do think he’s better than Pacheco. All 3 of these guys are going into year 4 without a new deal. I think the Bills are waiting to see what Kyren gets. Here is an update: https://www.yardbarker.com/nfl/articles/kyren_williams_has_faith_contract_extension_will_get_done/s1_17078_42533969
  9. I’m excited about this. I’m an OG Hard Knocks fan. I just hope they don’t make it too cheesy like The Bears Hard Knocks last season.
  10. He wasn’t on the field on the last drive vs. the Chiefs. That tells you all you need to know on how the Bills view Cook. Very good player but not Saquon Barkley, Derrick Henry, Johnathan Taylor level. If he’s expecting that kind of contract, he’s not going to get it.
  11. Can we get a welfare check on @MWK? With all this recent "scrub" play by Shavers, I'm deeply concerned for the state of their opinions 🫠
  12. Excited to see Walker this year. Think he is going to be a big part if the defense.
  13. Deone Walker is my Adopt-a-Bill and I am thrilled to observe his progress and evolution as a professional. ------------------------------ Exactly!!! I believe that was THE only reason Deone was drafted and perhaps the initial coy talk from the Bills regarding his eventual position was competitive strategy or "experts" looking at how he was used elsewhere than 1DT in college. I am excited to see him take on two OL blockers and allow Ed Oliver to be the behind the line of scrimmage disrupter he was in college.
  14. Because you’re clearly confused to what’s happening here since the situations aren’t even remotely the same. If you’re gonna go the extreme route, at least make an attempt to reference a similar situation
  15. I have no problem with Cook trying to get his best deal. I also don't think he is worth paying $15m. No idea what Beane is offering him either, but I did see in some thread they were apparently close. If they are just bickering over like 1 or 2 million then I think Cook should be willing to sign that. $15m is too much for a RB not named Barkley or Henry IMO. Cook played great last season but thats just one season.

  18. Three times I've called, and one time I was there while someone else was calling. 1) Father's Day morning, late 1990's. Myself and one of my brothers were the only ones home at my parents house. It's before 7am, and in my dream I hear a crash. Wake up and look out the window (bedroom was on the front of the house) and there's a pickup up against the front of our house. I go outside and find the driver (late teens or early 20's) walking around the front yard, power pole in the yard has been broken. Figure out he was coming over the hill and must have passed out and gone straight, because when coming over the hill, the road curves to the right, he went straight into our yard, hit the pole, rolled the truck at least once, and somehow it ended right side up, against the small front porch. Beer cans scattered over the yard, over 20 is what I remember. What we found out later was that he was on leave for the weekend from whatever military branch he was in, his father's neighbor let him take his brand new truck out. That truck was now totaled, and he was arrested. 2) Driving on the thruway, and this car as they are passing me on the left, starts swerving into my lane, I beep they move back into their lane. I start watching them, and it's apparent something is not right, inconsistent speed and failing to stay in one lane. I called, and start keeping pace with them, their speed was between 40-80 mph, sometimes driving on the shoulder, sometimes on the lines between lanes, etc. Eventually the Troopers caught up and got them to pull over. I would check the Trooper blotter online and about a week later it showed up, a female, driving impaired, with a child in the car. 3) Driving home late after work, maybe 2am or later on back country roads, during the winter. Come around this one curve in the road and I see a lot of snow in the road, look over, and there's a car up on the snowbank, driver's door open and a leg sticking out. I stop and go take a look, guy somewhat passed out on the front seat, comes to as I approach. Says he fell asleep, can I call him a cab (there are no cabs where I lived, and this was pre-Uber) or take him to a truck stop. I just tell him I'll call for some help. Made the mistake of letting him site in my car. I was outside and I see him fiddling with the radio. I open the door and he yells at me that it's his car. Troopers eventually show up, they get him out of my car and into the back of theirs, he has my Bills winter hat on, so I have to ask them to get that back for me, because at this point, he's angry that I called 911, and calling me an #######. I hang out long enough listening to them question him that he tells them that he was in Utica (we are nowhere near Utica) because he's a gigolo. A few days later I have to go give my statement, it's the same Troopers, so they tell me that he was arrested, and tried to proposition the female Trooper while he was being booked. They also tell me that he had broken off the car key in the ignition, so even if he could get the car off the snowbank, it was not going anywhere. 4) This one was somewhere in Texas, after dark but not too late, I'm driving down this service road near a highway and see a car pulled over and two people walking towards me on the shoulder. I then notice the large object on the should of the road, which turns out to be a person. I pull over also, and while one of the people call 911, I stand on the shoulder before this person (who is awake and talking) waving at people to move over. Once the firemen get there, I get a better look at this person, whatever happened it split the skin open on one of their legs, you could see the muscle, etc. I decide then, since the cops had arrived, and said they did not need a statement from me since I did not see the accident, I could leave.
  19. Now understand what the Colbert show was for. Advancing the Democrat agenda - which btw is worth mentioning - got us Trump 2.0 because Democrats are both evil and dumb
  20. So what do you want? To pay him 15M and lose McGovern or Torrence? We also have much more potential on offense this year with Coleman Year 2, Kincaid Year 3, Palmer & Moore vs Rookie Coleman, injured Kincaid, Cooper and Hollins.
  21. He's taking care of his business. But not the team's business. This is where the rubber hits the road. He's holding their feet to the fire. There will be consequences, of one sort or another. For me, this is where I start to get irritated at the selfishness. I'm pretty sure Cook won't care about what I think, though.
  22. it's certainly possible. but if you look at success rate among our RBs it's pretty clear why they don't go to Cook in those moments
