United Health Care Exec Assassinated in NYC
The Frankish Reich replied to JFKjr's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
In which we turn to the Mainstream Media to explain (NYT) While some states define first-degree murder as a premeditated killing, New York requires an additional aggravating circumstance, one of which is terrorism. Others include torture and killing a witness or law officer. -
yes a significantly less talented QB than Stafford correct bad offense, poor/untested OCs, bad QB rooms that he had to fill entirely starting as a rookie he was 100% set up to fail

No LB in the NFL can cover a RB or decent TE. The coverage LB is a total fallacy. Plus we play moslty zone nickel. They just need to occupy their zone and get to the deep middle in cover 2. Read and reacting is the skill most needed. That is what made Milano exceptional and what made Edmunds expendable. Size may or may not translate to durability but it doenst mean they can't play pass defense well. Post June 1 cut. Thank you for your service. Time to move on.

Josh will be wearing a visor this week

Skiiers wear goggles, including in cold and snow and mixed precip. There are products you coat the visor with that prevent fogging. -

69 degrees at game time on Thursday. Shouldn't be an issue. -
I think this offseason needs to have a real milano plan. He's slated to have a 11M cap hit in 2026 currently in void money. If he's brought back, the void money reduces in 2026 to about 6M, and then there's a little under 5M in 2027. If you can make the cap hit roughly the same 11M or thereabouts without making significant changes to the 2027 numbers, i don't mind bringing him back since its essentially a wash to the salary cap. Having said that, he's going to be in his age 31 season and has played 14 games including playoffs over the last 3 seasons combined (including the 2 games this season). He's not currently under contract for 2026 so he'd have to want to come back at a potentially lesser role for less money. I'd suspect he'd be the ramon humber role of Milano's rookie season, where Humber was hurt and eventually replaced by Milano. Buffalo could also stand to make a WLB investment this offseason as dorian williams is a free agent after 2026, and imo has not done enough to justify an extension beyond a year to year agreement. Finding a rookie contract player who can start is going to be far more affordable against the cap moving forward. A lot of dudes just got paid, so they need some more rookie contract contributors at every level of the roster.

I just couldn't disagree more with this. Daboll was a nobody that had spent his career as the OC for bottom ranked offenses. Allen's pass catchers were Kelvin Benjamin, Zay Jones, Andre Holmes, and Charles Clay. His starting OL was 2nd year Dion Dawkins, Vlad Ducasse, Russell Bodine, John Miller, and Jordan Mills. A lot of young QBs have a solid veteran in the room to help them learn - Allen had Nathan Peterman. We only retroactively say that the Bills set Allen up for success because he ended up a success. The reality is he had as bad a supporting cast as you could possibly formulate. Allen has a lot of superpowers that make him an elite QB. One that probably doesn't get enough credit nationally is his ability to confront his flaws and fix them ridiculously fast. Allen has had plenty of bad games throughout his career but he has very very rarely had two in a row. He completely rebuilt his mechanics from the ground up and recently changed his entire play style to fit a new scheme and philosophy. I credit McDermott and Beane for turning the culture around here but I don't credit them for Allen's ascension. His own mental and physical abilities made him who he is today.

I think Kirk was bigger than you think. I certainly think you're right where in another month or two this story will certainly die down...I mean it happened with 9/11. Football games were being played again 2 weeks later and people started getting football nuts again. However, when it comes polling time, you will see the energy coming back up. It may not be a revolutionary shift like a "war" or with fighting. But I absolutely believe it will lead to a political shift. The undecided and the apolitical or swing voters....this pushes them to the Right. It happened to me. Mine was before this Kirk Assassination....it has made me want to be more outspoken. I honestly could see this happening - I saw a Analyst on one of the platforms, not sure where it was from, it could have been 100% a Right Wing platform....but I think he was saying he could see Republicans taking control for the next 50-70 years. The Dems pushed too hard on the Woke Ideology and this new generation of voters is seeing or feeling it. I'm not going to say this Analyst is correct right now but I won't dismiss it. Especially when a DNC Chairman said they've hit rock bottom.

I kind of expected this outcome for Thursday. Keeping Achane contained is going to be a challenge. -
Nashville school shooter = trans Minneapolis school shooter = trans Charlie Kirk assassin= furry who is in a relationship with a "transitioning" male. The Zizian trans death cult responsible for several murders across the country. All of this in an environment where transgender groups are calling for days of vengeance and characterizing themselves as being explicitly militant and violent in the name of trans rights. Whatever that means. To hand wave away this recent trend as social media "rage bait" is head in the sand stuff. As a comparison, when we had abortion doctors being murdered and clinics attacked several years ago in the name of Christian groups that promoted violence was that covered extensively in the media or was it just shrugged off as outliers?

Absolutely agree that is why I also was willing to die I. The we need to pay Cook Hill. He is the second most important individual to our offenses success

Kash Patel to run / reform FBI.

What happened to the classic "are you still beating your wife?" -
Someone with the handle JDHillFan has been around long enough to not get whipped into a frenzy about anything. Can you point to the frenzy part? It’s simply a disagreement with your position that is leading you to use words like frenzy, outrage, and scared. Not upset at all. I like CB on occasion and would have gone there regardless. On the other hand when there’s a noisy contingent telling me that men can be women, I think it’s ok to laugh and shake my head. If a company that I have given years of business tells me I suck for being insufficiently modern, I take my business elsewhere. I don’t tell others they need to do the same. As far as being scared, it’s more that I am in line with JK Rowling when she said “I have a superpower. It’s called vision”. No fear involved. Common sense definitely involved. I’ve noticed that some of the people that lean liberal in their comments frequently go with “I don’t have a team”. It’s an interesting thing.

Kash Patel to run / reform FBI.
B-Man replied to SoonerBillsFan's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
BREAKING: Jim Jordan just asked Kash Patel a flurry of rapid fire questions and embarrassed every Democrat who has continuously smeared Kash's performance at the FBI. "Is the FBI still spying on parents at school board meetings?" KASH: "No, sir." "Is the FBI still targeting Catholics?" KASH: "No, sir." "Is the FBI still censoring Americans?" KASH: "No, sir." "Is the FBI still targeting Americans for shopping at Cabela's or purchasing Bibles?" KASH: "Nobody is targeted for their faith." "Is the FBI still targeting Americans who are pro-life?" KASH: "Nobody is targeting anyone for their beliefs." "Is the FBI still cooking the books on crime data?" KASH: "The crime data is real." "Is the FBI still purging agents for conservative viewpoints?" KASH: "No one at the FBI is asked their viewpoints on politics." "Is the FBI still labeling the Betsy Ross Flag, of the American Revolution, a 'hate symbol?'" KASH: "No." "Well, maybe that's why you've been able to - what was the number, 23,000 bad guys you've arrested? A HUGE increase from the same time period in the previous administration? I think you said 1,400 predators? 4,000 children rescued?" "Maybe when you're not focused on politics, you can focus on what the FBI is supposed to do - GO GET THE BAD GUYS!" -
I would think the NFL would want in Toronto bad. It is a behemoth of a city with many different cultures within.... in a new country. To a man, I would bet the NFL owners wanted/planned on the Bills relocating, but the timing of Rogers' death, Wilson's death (in relation to the brand new lease extension and renovations), and Pegula being on the scene with enough liquid wealth made that an impossibility. Now we have a new stadium, which likely secures the team for at least 2 decades. The best thing for the future of the Bills in the mean time may be an expansion team in Toronto over the next decade to 15 years. I do not believe it would hurt the Bills at the turnstiles or corporate involvement. If anything, it may help. Southern Ontario could get NFL-mad, and there is only so much inventory 1 team could have, and Buffalo could enjoy a runoff. Toronto is plenty large enough and sports-crazy enough to have ample support for 2 teams like NYC and LA. Without a Toronto team, I think we could hear the murmurs of relocation again down the line, well before New Highmark hits its 30-year "life-cycle".

He’s been the 2nd best player on the team for two and a half years. He’s probably worth more than anyone will pay a RB. He’s definitely worth what they did pay.
