Okay...I have been thinking on this and trying to make sense of it. I suppose a trade is possible, but even then the timing of signing Phillips "later this week" seems odd. I wonder if they could want to use a 3rd IR to return. Say, for example, they've decided to use the pre-season IR to returns on Hairston and Sanders, but someone on the DL, maybe Carter, got dinged up in the last pre-season game. They could keep Carter on the 53, move him to IR to return after the cut down and then sign Phillips. Use Phillips as 5th DL until Ogunjobi and/or Carter return. It's about the only thing that makes sense to me.

Bills have 2 suspended players so they will still be on the “53” but not count just like PUP players if not activated don’t count against the 53.

Few things I noticed from the video- 1.) Hawes has to make the team as well. He's been incredibly consistent. 2.) Andreessen just seems sooooo lost in the run game. I don't see how he can make the team.

It is very curious and if Beane gave an answer in an interview I’d be interested in hearing it. It does take 2 to tango though. Maybe Dolac felt he had a better chance of cracking the Rams’ 53 man roster. He got to pick his destination as a FA.

I have a cousin who scouts for an NFL team - they don't focus on their local area any more than any other area in the US. Video scouting reigns supreme for these lower level conferences and programs, and the organization will use the Senior Bowl or bowl games to try to get some in person viewings. Dolac being in the Bills backyard doesn't matter. Scouting isn't focused on geography as much as people think it is.

I don't believe much of anything Maxwell is saying to DOJ lawyers. Based on her deposition, she's completely innocent of anything like sex trafficking or soliciting underage women for Epstein. Who by he way, appears to be completely innocent of anything too. At least when it comes to his association with Maxwell. She also believes he didn't commit suicide. Which by extension means she believes somebody killed him, or ordered his killing, Which begs the question who would want to kill Epstien if ther is no there, there? If there is no concern of him spilling the beans on anyone of importance? Add that if everything was on the up-and-up why would he kill himself? Spend a few weeks in jail and then set free?
