So you could have some man match principles with a boundary corner in MEG That would be man everywhere he goes So if z goes in motion your boundary corner could potentially follow him... While the other principles of the offense dictate coverage probably a cover for variant with bracketing Cover 4 lock could potentially have guys following a receiver.. but the safeties are still in quarters and the linebackers would still be in zone

There's going to be a lot of variables early in the year But talent wise I think they're in the top 15 And I expect a revamped offense that will be more reminiscent of Sooner football

This will depend on formation. If the formation calls for Hawes to be off the LOS he will, indeed, be in the backfield.

This brings up fond memories and a funny story. I was away for the weekend and got home late Sunday night. I had recorded this game on a VHS tape. I sat down to watch the game and to my disappointment the tape ran out before the end of the game. I accepted that the Bills lost the game and went to bed. It wasn't until Monday morning that I saw the Bills won! I couldn't believe it. That was a magical year and the beginning of a fun run for our beloved Bills. -

RIP: Bill Moyers, Elder Statesman of PBS Journalists, Dies at 91. Bill Moyers, who carried an unblemished air of moral conviction* throughout a 43-year career as a broadcast journalist, mostly in his later years for PBS, died Thursday in Manhattan, the New York Times reported. He was91. Moyers was characterized by an insatiable and wide-ranging intellectual curiosity, but he was deeply concerned not only with how things are but how they should be. He was also well known for his views that the mainstream media reflect the bias inherent in their ownership by giant corporations whose goals align with those of the right.** But despite uncovering disappointing behaviors on the part of politicians and various institutions over the years, Moyers was fundamentally an idealist. * The moral conviction was certainly there in spades, but so were the blemishes https://variety.com/2025/tv/news/bill-moyers-dead-pbs-journalist-1236442118/ ,

What Are You Most Excited About This Coming Season?

Agree that is the standard for the D. That said they have been a top 3 D and top 10 on 3rd down multiple times (when Leslie was here) and it hasn't got them over the hump. But 3rd down is the big test for me this year. They were an abomination on 3rd down in 2024. A repeat would see Babich worry for his job. -
Good to have a slobber knocker on offense! https://www.si.com/nfl/bills/news/buffalo-bills-bobby-babich-slobber-knocker-of-the-week

I'd argue Mack Hollins cleared the bar of "made an impact" but he was who we knew him to be and if he is your team's most impactful addition over an offseason that is not a good thing. -
I want to catch one last game at Rich Stadium late in the year...

I have very little doubt that it will be “ready” to host fans for a football game week #1. I think they will still have a lot of behind the scenes items to finish, but I doubt that there will be much for fans to notice as “undone.” I hope I’m right. -

A rare point of agreement between Mayor Bass and President Trump. -
Various types of people America would NEVER elect, all in my lifetime: - A divorced man (Reagan, and then Trump) - A serial philanderer (Clinton, and then Trump, and before my time JFK, although the public didn't know all about that) - A black man (Obama) - A convicted criminal (Trump) When people say things like this is says more about their own personal biases than it does about "America"

For sure, next thing you know we’ll have an administration laying siege to a former president’s home, tossing the place, removing documents clearly outside the scope of the search, photos of file folders leaked to the press, and quite a hubbub about how national security and classified documents must not be removed by an outgoing commander-in-chief….then when it turns out the current prez has been pilfering and maintaining documents for decades he’ll probably tell us that that sort of classified document pilfering is ok because he has a nice American muscle car stored nearby. Then from there it’s a hop skip and a jump to fisa surveillance, reimagined and reinvented criminal statutes, working with foreign nationals to influence the outcome of elections, and preemptive ex post-facto pardons for anyone the president ever met. I really miss the old days when everything was sunshine, roses and beyond reproach.

I think it gives them more flexibility to not go to a 6th lineman so often and use more jumbo packages which can have him as a receiving option to make it harder for defenses to defend.
