  1. Past hour
  2. Or in other words (pictures), this:
  3. So those dirty safeties don't creep up and it can help open the intermediate space for the other WR's to work. Davis for all his faults didn't take the top off defenses like true burners but was a more credible deep threat than what we have now. John Brown was pry are last WR who had enough juice to take the top off a defense. MVS didn't work out last year.
  4. True. And usually that doesn't take much time. The law requires someone claiming citizenship to come forward with some evidence of it. That's usually easy: a certified U.S. birth certificate. Sometimes it's showing that your parents were citizens for a certain amount of time even though you were born abroad. But typically not a big deal. So the "process" isn't necessarily a lengthy trial; it's a fairly quick document inspection. The whole issue is this: the constitution requires "due process." But it doesn't define what kind of process is due. For example, under the law someone who is in the U.S. for under 2 years can be removed expeditiously, without seeing a judge. If he claims asylum, he gets an interview about the nature of that fear. If it isn't a plausible asylum claim, he's gone.
  5. No worries. It takes a year or two to get your man strength.
  6. Even Trumpers are saying it was a bad look, not the Maga scum on here that Lick his balls. The denunciation of doing two dolls had been universal.
  7. Yes the show was very enjoyable. Missed it when it ended.
  8. This should be interesting. I don't think anybody at the Conclave is in a rush to run back a lot of Pope Francis' policies and their attendant controversies, but most of the College of Cardinals are Francis appointees. Alongside this, the Conclave has to weigh striking where the iron's hot, like supporting the Church's rapid expansion in Africa and Asia, vs try to revive the Church where it's dying (Europe, North America), or under attack and losing ground (Latin and South America). I honestly think the College will pivot hard to Africa and Asia. It's where the global economy will be expanding and where the most souls are now and will be in the future. That's not without risk (China's government sponsored atheism, India's government sponsored Hinduism, Islam's entrenchment in Saharan Africa, North Africa and Central Asia, etc), but you bring the gospel where the people are.
  9. The UFL is really struggling at the gate this year. Birmingham has been the best team for years and used to average 17K. St. Louis had crowds approaching 40K.
  10. You have to go into search mode on ESPN+ and enter "BANDITS" to find the games. This is not that far from the truth. In fact the best way to watch hockey is from the end zones. You really see the plays develop from that perspective.
  11. Good Lord. Will it ever end? I'd like to see the reciprocal tariffs on U.S.-produced music. That would be a nice way to kill one of the industries in which the U.S. remains dominant.
  12. This has been going on for a long time. I remember being in Vancouver, BC on bidness about 15 years ago and had to pass 2 or 3 on location movies sets between my hotel and the office. I was told they get good tax incentives for shooting there so they do.
  13. Three Days by Juana’s Addición.
  14. Oh, I agree. The attempt to have a shocking ending was pretty ham-handed. But still: a good film offering some good insight. I didn't read the book, but friends who have liked that too.
  15. A few years ago, this area was infested with gypsy moth caterpillars. Some areas had it really bad, to the point of entire houses being covered. I was lucky, they only keyed in on the oak tree on which the birdhouse was affixed. My guess is that they filled up the birdhouse, which explains no birds since then. I’m also guessing that it became home to other bugs/insects and one of those pileated woodpeckers made holes big enough to fit into. Mission accomplished. The holes are 5-6 inches in circumference.
  16. Don’t know if it’s been mentioned in the last 6 pages, but one that comes to mind is the game at home against the Packers with Rodgers at QB. Don’t remember the year, probably early-mid 2010s. Super Mario made the strip sack in the end zone to seal the game. Packers were really good that year and beating them was awesome, especially given how many Packers fans I work with.
  17. Yep. In 2000 he was better than ever and an absolute terror until the big injury against Tampa. Looking back that seemed to be a major breaking point for the Bills (7-4 at the time) descent into mediocrity for years to come.
  18. 2009 I think. It was October. I had to cut a late season hay harvest to ensure winter stocks. It was not pleasing but not cold, Carolina Fall chilly probably best describes it. It was an unremarkable fall day and uncomfortable to be on the tractor with fall temps, dry breeze and it was a Sunday that I was taking the windrows. I listened to the Bills-Browns 6-3 game. That day was so dull I can barely remember it but I remember that I still enjoyed the technology to have noise cancelling headphones and a radio (Sirius Stiletto) to listen to the game.
  19. If you’re conflating my comments on democrats and their blind devotion to their candidates to a discussion on trade deficits, it’s understandable why you missed just about all the warning signs with Clinton, Biden, Harris.
  20. Hardy is the one who could unseat Lewis.
  21. Yesterday
  22. Lewis is the primary backup to Johnson at Nickel. They clearly brought in competition, but I would be surprised if a fifth round rookie shows enough to warrant dumping Lewis quite yet. If they can improve then, great, but it’s a long shot year one.
  23. I don't see one person in the stands wearing any merch; lot of coats and ties though.
  24. Well. I didn’t see this coming. But the man is standing up for Hollywood. Hollywood! I wish he could tweet - “Hollywood is making tremendous must see movies. In theaters and on streams. They feature the best actors and scripts. In no way are they concerned with DEI first and checking off this box and that box for this group of people or that. Only the best!” Sadly, he cannot tweet that.
  25. A stunningly stupid statement.
  26. And may I add Lowell Keller. A close colleague and a very dear man.
