They don’t mean anything? lol… (you wanna bet) They mean everything. These are the front runners. Every person that has been the betting favorite at the end of the year or all but one the last 25 years has won the MVP. So I would say it matters more than anything else when trying to figure out who wins it.

@ExWNYer @Gugny @Another Fan I'm not gonna lie, yesterdays loss did not bother me as much as one might think. Unfortunately I came to the realization a week or two ago that this group did not have an extended run in them - although I would've preferred to see them get the chance to prove me wrong. In the end their strong start to the season masked how bad they've been for months to me. As for Stearns and Mendoza, I'm not a pitchforks and torches type fan and I'd give them a pass this year because of how things went last year. Plus, I never got the impression that Mendoza lost clubhouse. I'm more down on Stearns, with the benefit of hindsight his starting pitching plan fell woefully short. It will be very interesting to see how they approach this off-season. Front and center is Pete, but Bor-ass will drag it out like he always does and unfortunately Vientos as the backup plan to Pete isn't all that appealing anymore . Personally I think they need to make some tough decisions wrt Vientos, Baty, McNeil, Acuna and Mauricio - none of them stood out to me. Looking forward to hearing all your thoughts. In the mean time thankfully we have the Bills to transition to!

True enough, but one of the reasons rookies tend not to play a lot on SB contenders - besides the strength of the roster - is that every game matters. If I'm coaching a team contending for the playoffs and fighting for home-field advantage, I'm probably reluctant to put a rookie on the field who's going to make rookie mistakes. But if I'm coaching a team with little hope of playing in January, I'm going to give my rookies lots of playing time to gain experience that will hopefully make 2026 a better year.

None of the other QB’s are even close to the top 5 or top 10 in this many categories, other than Lamar, but since Baltimore is 1-3 and he looked bad yesterday he has dropped down.

I still have some faith in Rousseau (though it's starting to wane a bit) - but it's hard to look back on that draft and not conclude we should have taken Barmore. That's exactly the kind of player our line needs.
