  1. Past hour
  2. I saw the final score this morning when I woke up walking Ohtani 4 Times in a row? I mean I get it but I didn't like reading it. He batting in OT likely would have made that game end a lot sooner the way he is hitting What a player . Props where props are due DANG Go Blue Jays
  3. I did, and I'm spit balling maybe got overzealous. However, he's cost controlled through this year, and '26 & '27 (team option). From there you could franchise if needed for '28. That's 3 well below market years under control. A rising star. Vikes are cross conference, no issues there. Vikes are deluding themselves into being a contender this year, you g2 slap them with an offer good enough to get them out of lying to themselves, and to sell to the roster/coaches/fans. WR's are incredibly valuable/costly and impossible to obtain with a later pick. Our first round picks are late in the round. Josh is not getting younger, and this puts us a leg up on every other team, in the most wide open playoff race I can remember. Two 1's and a 3, is not that much more than the cost of trading up to get a WR in mid-rounds, missing, and then taking another shot in a different year..... when you look at our swings and misses at the position, we don't scout it well... and theres no more sunken costs in chasing half-measures. 1. $10m Samuel. 2. 2nd rd Keon (jury still out, but hes ceiling is well below a #1, with floor at a #3/#4) 3. That other Saints WR who I already forget the name of from 2 years ago 4. Josh Palmer jury is very still up in the air, it could have some legs down the road, but he wasnt/probably isnt going to be the guy this year Everything else is sort of rounding into shape with Hairston back, Hancock putting out solid tape. Hoecht looks like a massive WIN. Addison is playing 2nd fiddle to JJ, and is nowhere near his ceiling. WR and Addison puts us over the top. I'm getting dragged a bit above with the "wheres anyone hearing Addison available".... i get it, its not being reported. Hes not on the block. Theyre a little frustrated with him, they cant pay JJ & Addison... they need a QB againnnn. I think a solid offer could benefit both teams. They probably don't WANT to move him yet... but with their unsolved problems and QB play this year, could they really refuse to do it a year early? Maybe... but it just makes so much sense for both parties to me. Draftpicks are over valued, and we showed an interest before. We have relationship w/ team from previous deal. Go get some rings this year, figure the rest out next year with a pretty damn well rounded roster. I think we've all forgot what Josh looked like with a Diggs catching balls.
  4. They started slow but have been on a heater since the Detroit game. I think you’re miscalculating this team if you think they’re struggling the last few weeks.
  5. I have always viewed the trade deadline as a time to accent your lineup, not make wholesale changes. The Rams are the popular one people bring up because of the Von trade in 21' and Super Bowl win.. but at the time of the trade they were 7-1. He was very solid addition, but that roster was already in a really good place when it happened. The Bills with the injuries on defense and major hole at WR would need some wholesale changes to really change everything to the desired outcome. Instead what probably happens is possibly trade for a useful solid outside WR, either a FA DT signing or maybe a late round pick for someone who fits what they do, and Gabe Davis is also added to the roster to help shore up the outside WR. I keep seeing a lot of big names like Olave or Waddle which would be a pipe dream, but with the way the sellers are and how I don't see Beane moving capital I think they go with a more holistic grounded approach.
  6. Breaking: Union wants its employees to get paid
  7. Trade for a WR, put Keon on the shelf with Landon Jackson for next year unless needed for injury depth and then elevate Gabe to the 53 when healthy. Player X via trade Palmer Gabe Shakir Samuel Keon Cut Moore & Shavers
  8. Both NY and CA are lost causes. You know that saying "YOU CAN'T FIX STUPID" that applies here. As a NJ resident I am doing my part and voting for Ciattarelli. Sherrill can go fly her helicopter into the Atlantic Ocean for all I care.
  9. This board would explode if the Pats win the Super Bowl. They are much more balanced than the Bills and potentially have better coaching. With some luck, they could be there. That would definitely hurt.
  10. Better to be a buyer in a tough year than a seller. Nobody wants to be a seller.
  11. Beane tells the GR morning show to bug off, but when the Dean Pelton of Buffalo sports radio (Simon) speaks, Beane asks "How high, Sir?!"
  12. There is a vast difference in ability to escape the pocket between end of career Andy Dalton (who looked happy to just get included in the game) and prime Mahomes. This should be obvious.
  13. Can't remember one instance where we traded for a guy that messed with the team culture. Cooper? Nyheim Hines? Douglas? Mayyyyybe I could give you Kelvin Benjamin. Better question is will that happen at all this year? Well that's been the issue every year. Or WRs are "pretty much" the same as last year. Only it's not. They haven't replaced guys we have lost through the years with equal or better. Talent coming in has always been a step or two below what we had. Over time it's eroded to a bunch of guys that can't make plays.
  14. To a degree, I actually agree. For all the hate McD gets, Bean should get the equal amount, maybe more. A lot of his decisions and comments have aged like milk.
  15. I have no hardcore stats to back this up, just assumptions and snap counts: My assumption is Gabe was WR4 his first and second season. He played 73% and 53% of the snaps. Allen was picked off 4 times targeting him is rookie year, and twice his sophomore season. Gabe had a nice jump in efficiency from year one to year two with catch and drop rate. Year 3 and 4 I believe he was the primary WR2. His snap counts jumped to 91% and 83% (over 920 snaps each season). Allen was picked off targeting him 6 times each year. So there is evidence to support that a healthy Gabe Davis could benefit the offense in a positive way, assuming mentally he's also recovered.
  16. Whaddyagot? A Jack Kemp rookie card and a roll of Necco Wafers?
  17. Tre White has made multiple plays coming off his first priority over the years. He's shown a very solid knack for it at times.
  18. Why is everyone ignoring the remaining schedule of KC and Buffalo. Neither of these teams can afford to lose this game. There are likely more losses coming. The sense of urgency needs a serious shot in the arm now. Not later. With the way KC is playing right now, the Bills need to smell the blood in the water and attack. Mahomes has struggled all season. Get after him and force him to make mistakes. Let me know when you've watched the seven sack performance from the last game. You're sleep walking through this season.
  19. This thought just came into my head and Im posting it "Where would you rather be than right here right Now" Im glad to be in the thick of things and not the jests lol Right? RIGHT in the thick of a season where anything can happen. Sink or swim GO BILLS
  20. 9. Bills loss Chiefs (5-3) 10. Bills over @Miami (6-3) 11. Bills over Buccaneers (7-3) CHANGE 12. Bills over @Texans 8-3) CHANGE 13. Bills over @Steelers (9-3) 14. Bills over Bengals (10-3) 15. Bills loss @Patriots (10-4) 16. Bills over @Browns (11-4 17. Bills loss @Eagles (11-5) 18. Bills over Jets (12-5) **Has us trading for a WR flipping the Bucs and Texans game
  21. Pretty sure if the Bills had Rice, Worthy, and Kelce all healthy they wouldnt be doing the "whos on first" act trying to find someone, anyone to step up as a pass catcher.
  22. Who was Mahomes throwing to in that game? Worthy and Rice weren’t there. And the still could’ve won if Kelce didn’t bobble a pass at the goal line.
  23. in fairness, no rice and no worthy, sort of a different offense without both.
  24. You got that right they were and it's going to take time to right the ship and some sacrifices will have other be made but those that live for entitlement just don't know what sacrifice is because they have been coddled for way to long ...
