I've said it multiple times, and I'll keep saying it - it was completely ignorant of Beane or McDermott to think last year's offense was sustainable. Imagine after the 2017 season when we finally broke the drought, if Beane or McDermott was happy with that and just continued with that team. I don't know why they thought going into this season with the current offense was gonna work. Thinking Coleman would be become "the guy" was way too big of a risk

Against KC, no Johnson, no Rapp, playing Cam Lewis and a combination of Poyer and Hancock they forced Mahomes into his worst game as a pro. I was never a fan of Lewis, but I’ve come around to the stability and flexibility he brings. Get Johnson off the field. The proof is on the film. But McD is too ####### stubborn to do it any other way but his. Silver lining, at some point all coaches get fired. Regardless of when, after Thursday there is one less game to watch with McD as coach.

He was running for his life. Literally. He didn't have time to set his feet and throw before the pressure was in on him.

Diggs was getting fed at the expense of the team. Personally, I thought Dorsey got scapegoated for giving the world what it wants.......Josh Allen throwing the ball all over the field. But Diggs was getting doubled and that allowed teams to put CB1 on Gabe Davis and make throwing to him extremely unproductive. The personnel wasn't there to make that the right approach and I thought Dorsey had already begun the changes a couple weeks prior that Brady would further lean into. They lost that Denver game because of a substitution error by McDermott at the end of the game. Dorsey got scapegoated but as I said at the time it wasn't a big dropoff and a shot in the arm couldn't hurt. Brady was capable. They went from 5-5 at the time and then won 23 of their next 27 meaningful regular season games under Brady. The issue here isn't the OC. Does he have some ineffective calls we hate every week? Yes, but that only seems like a HUGE problem because the margin for error has diminished as the available talent has. As impotent as they've looked on the road they might have won those Atlanta and Houston games just having Glass Kincaid healthy.

Back when Brady was in his prime, I always felt there was a "Do not Injure" directive from the league after the Bernard Pollard hit that caused a season ending injury. If there really is a "Do not Injure" directive from the league, Josh Allen would certainly be one of the players on that list.
