  1. Past hour
  2. Bills have the 2nd highest chance in the AFC to make the playoffs at 86%. Colts are highest at 96%. Bills are higher than the Pats at 84%. I know the Doom and Gloom is cool, but let's stop pretending this team is going to miss the playoffs. A lot of these so called "great" teams we are competing with will start fading by the end of this month as usually happens.
  3. Ed seems to wear down throughout the year. Makes sense considering his size and position. IF he is able to return this may be a blessing. He could be fresh for the postseason.
  4. You don't really need a lot of data to see that the Bills just don't have a consistently good outside WR who can break coverages consistently and that's causing limitations to the offense. Right now the Bills have a very good TE and a very good slot WR (Kincaid and Shakir). The rest of the offense in terms of pass catchers are mostly role players. Good role players but still role players. Samuel and Moore gadget guys, Knox quality TE2, Hawes blocking TE, Ty Johnson pass catching back, and Keon is more of a big slot WR3/4 at this point. Palmer is the one WR that could maybe break outside coverage but he's hurt and not super consistent either. Largely I would say that the Bills simply need a WR on the boundary that teams respect. Put that trade in place and everything is fine offensively. Getting Olave for example would largely make teams think twice about stacking boxes with 8 and putting the safety over the middle single high and blitzing to Josh's right (the formula that seems to work to stop Cook and Josh at the moment). The data isn't needed when the eye test is very obvious...
  5. 100%, But McD was calling plays. This I believe is not being discussed enough. I don't believe the "They were sharing play calling" bull####. Will be very curious if he is calling again next week and if the trend continues.
  6. I would still kick the tires on Myles Garrett. He chose the money, but he’s still wants out. He’d be an absolute menace to the Patriots, Chiefs, and Colts!
  7. Yeah and his game back was vs the Bills and he was a wrecking crew
  8. Well, you cant really complain too much about a 31pt win on the road they all count the same... so way to go... still have concerns but lets get into it... here is my 3up 3 down UP James Cook - because without him we struggle to win this game, dynamic, electric and dangerous... I can only imagine what our passing game woulda been if he wasnt such a dominant threat. Jordan Poyer - Yes... JP simply from a tackling perspective he upgraded our secondary. He was involved in run support and did a very nice job... in position and played within himself... Shakir - his ability to RAC is elite at this point... Honorable Mention Bosa, Walker Epinesa and Rousseau.. All made big plays for us... that changed the game DOWN Bills passing game - Allen takes the blame in the press... and for some he should... we have not seen the MVP Josh maybe since the Ravens maybe Jets... I say passing game because I think our lack of ability to separate at the WR position is going to be an Achilles on our left heal to go with the defense Achilles on our right Losing ED Oliver - this is a big big loss... and absolutely is a downer for this game... not a Doc, but from what I am reading this is a long term thing, lets see when we get an update. FO - from watching Josh struggle all season with WR and doing precious little to McD taking over play calls on D (or so I have heard) and not firing Babich and getting a defensive pro in here makes me wonder what they are thinking. Maybe Beane is done and accepting our flaws and realizes that he needs to step back to build up just from a CAP perspective, maybe McD is going to bring in a new DCO but doesnt feel in season is the right time... I dont know... I do know that there are issues to be addressed... issues of their own making... and thats why I am increasingly moving from glad we have these guys to are they a significant part of the problem...
  9. Everybody wanted YAC a couple years ago. Now, that’s all they have available.
  10. My question is simpler….how is it our WRs are the same distance from LOS as their DL when the latter is being met immediately by our OL?
  11. I agree on Dalton, but Carolina has one of the best running backs in the league. I think he still averaged over 5 yards a carry against Buffalo, but they were able to take them out of the run very quickly.
  12. Beane has provided 1 top quality receiver since he’s been here. Every offseason it’s an issue. He brings in some JAGs who are soon gone. what makes anyone believe he’s suddenly going to change? He can’t even handle being reminded by the press about his WR blind spot. hes a baby
  13. Line could move if KC loses tonight, but I think the Chiefs being slight favorites makes sense although I think the Bills will win.
  14. Yes. That's it. That's the post.
  15. They don't want a passing game. They want a running game. This version of Josh is what they want. Game manager. No INTs, don't fumble so basically get the ball away from josh as fast as possible. The MVP "unicorn" has been removed from the game. But hey we can run well now. Awesome. That'll win a couple games.
  16. I was yelling at the TV when they stopped running.
  17. In Vrabel defense he didn’t have Josh Allen as his QB and he made Tannahill look good for like 3 years(?) That’s Saints like 8 games and only thing I am 99% certain as a Pats fan is they should be a 10 or 11 win team THIS year.. and only if Maye stays healthy he goes down the dumpster fire is back.
  18. It is a step up from his babushkas...🤔😁
  19. Agreed. But there are options. If we can dump Samuels salary, and do a restructure or two (Knox, etc), we can get some room. I wanted that rags to riches story for Shavers. He showed little sparks last season with limited snaps. But it seems like he is missing some awareness out there currently. Maybe after some more experience. Also play Coleman as a slot, he will thrive there. He’s not on outside guy. I would give Shakir more outside shots. He has that IT factor. Hoping Palmer can come back soon and continue the connection with Josh. He can separate and is a smooth route runner. I wanted Metcalf in the offseason. Would have been a great move for the Bills. I feel, Bills need to be aggressive and go get a game changer. Now: 1. Olave 2. Shaheed 3. Wilson 4. Meyers - less exciting 5. Waddle - sure, but is Miami’s owner that dumb to allow that?
  20. I remember watching her in the Lassie when I was a really little kid and the series was in black and white. Lassie ran for 19 seasons, 1954 through 1973. It changed to colored film in 1965. Lockhart was the third and last female lead in the show, following Jan Clayton and Cloris Leachman. Lockhart played Ruth Martin from 1958 through 1964 before becoming Mrs Robinson in Lost In Space in 1965.
  21. Listening to his PC after the game, McD referred to Kromer as the one for "dialing up" those run plays. 2:00 time or perhaps just the blocking schemes?
  22. Cook needs to have more routes thrown to him as well. I'd love to add another piece as well, but Palmer needs to be featured, and Keon needs to sit. Moore is a decent route runner. Samuel has juice. This offense is just clunky right now. Something needs to change (passing game wise), and fast.
  23. I agree with all of that. The passing game looks pretty lost right now. That being said, I had no problem with them running a lot yesterday. It felt like that Cowboys game a few years ago. If a team is giving up 6-8 yards every time you run a pitch to the RB, you gotta keep running that play until they stop it. I'll also add that I like the switch to more man coverage, but we'll all have to live with them giving up the occasional big play.
  24. Playoffs are NOT a given. Even winning the division is not. Sure, the ideal is to peak come postseason, the other 31 teams are not going to lay down and pave the way! Anyway, Hoecht was fun to watch. On the O side, Hawe still blocks so well, and shoutout to Gilliam. I thought he was not useful besides special teams, but this year, when he is in there with #85, they and the OLine run block so well.
  25. The fact that Josh has taken a beating, and Brady can’t make adjustments, I hold that against Brady. It really pisses me off that Josh takes a beating and we have no answers 😡
  26. I think probably literally every Bills fan understands we need an upgrade for our current boundary receivers (especially with Palmer out where it's now basically just Coleman). Not really sure the play Joe is specifically talking about is really the issue though; that one felt more like (1) the wrong play for the coverage we ultimately got and (2) simply a good job on defense. Felt like we just didn't get the defense we were expecting. If you want to say the issue is more that nobody was able to get open during the scramble drill, then yeah, that's not good either, but I don't think an upgrade at WR is getting open within the structure of that play either. It was just dead the moment the ball was snapped.
