When the Bills make the SB this year, what’s your go to?
KingBoots8 replied to Billsfed1's topic in The Stadium Wall
I live in the southern tier. I’ll be driving up to Buffalo to watch and celebrate. -
No problem I was high on Davis coming out, he was my top RB's in that draft. So I am not too worried about having to run him instead of Cook, but I would also be lying if I said we don't lose anything without Cook. If Cook holds out into the season, so be it IMO. Davis and Ty can hold the job down until he eventually reports because he isn't going to skip the season and he needs to be back by a certain week (I forget what week that is) for the season to count for him. So I have no doubt he would play. Also - I really don't think he will hold out into the season. Beane is very transparent and very communicative. They are going to know where the sides are at, there won't be much accomplished by holding out. Cook is a competitive guy and he wants to play and he wants a SB. So I think he more than likely will be ready to go week 1 personally, but in fairness thats just my opinion. The real issue is we don't really know how far apart they are to even know if there is a realistic chance a deal can get done. Maybe Hard Knocks will reveal some insight on what the Bills have offered, but we don't know otherwise, so hard to say whether or not there is a deal to be had here. But, my instinct tells me that they can't be miles apart otherwise Cook and his team probably would have just asked for a trade. So given there has been no trade request and Cook showed up and participated at camp, it makes me think that the deal isn't there, but also not so far apart that they don't have hope they can get there on both sides.

2025 sideline hats just came out and...

Is it just me or does anybody else feel like the sideline gear and hats just keep getting progressively worse and worse every year? -

It’s like an Etsy project where you’re attaching a separate logo swatch onto a blank canvas…or some such 🤷. I’ll go back to eBay to hunt some Zubaz looks instead 😝. -

They look like those knock-off hats that you see online that say things like "Buffalo Mafia." It's a no from me, dawg. -
All good, but you had chimed into my convo where I was stating Brady is the GOAT but I don't know for sure who was the actual best QB to ever play on a given Sunday in their prime. And there are people who watched Graham and Unitas who will insist they are also in those conversations. I cant say they deserve to be or not as that is before my time, but I do know there is a legit question which QB was better in their prime on any given Sunday in Joe and Tom despite acknowledging Tom has earned the GOAT title through all his accomplishments.

I am surprised by how many days Bishop has been out at this point, tbf.

Mon August 4 2025 training camp info
Sierra Foothills replied to scuba guy's topic in The Stadium Wall
No one's mentioned it in this topic so it bears mention that if the above list is accurate, Taylor Rapp is back practicing. The Bills under McBeane have always been very cautious about injuries during training camp and preseason. My guess is that the majority of the players on the list are being held out as precautionary moves. It is funny and painful seeing all the posters here freaking out AND criticizing the training staff. -

Hilarious - name the time when he actually played well. The guy was an embarrassment last year

Agree 100%, nice to hear from a balanced participant. Very intelligent summation. -
At least we can all agree Elvis was “The King” and Muhammad Ali was “The Greatest”.

Nice player, but he's slight and a poor blocker, and just not suited to every down back usage. The Bills are probably using him perfectly right now and would be foolish to compensate him as an elite every down back. Let him sit in now. Once the season starts, hopefully he's a good soldier, gives an honest effort and hits the open market in the offseason where he can determine his true value.

Thank goodness we have Andreeson -
I haven't heard the term "Postal" when referring to an actual P.O. employee in a long time. They must be taking care of their employees better and doing better psychological background checks. Or maybe it's because they don't have to deliver the phone books every year anymore.

This is b*ll*cks.

Until you see hoecht and ogubjobi on the field and then you realize we have a beefed up front 4 collapsing pockets And that Palmer was severely underrated In January and February the Buffalo Bills need to be collapsing pockets to win the super bowl... The Chiefs had 0 points at halftime.. sure eagles offense is good... It's what they did to Patrick mahomes that we need to do to beat him We need to finally get to Patrick Technically those guys are thoroughbreds on a different realm than James Cook who's a 190 lb James Cook is a tremendous playmaker, he's not physically any of those guys.. he would die after a 350 touch season

He just can't stay healthy. Time to move on and let someone else have a shot. Its like you said, we need dependability and we can't get it from him.

Rankings are debatable but I think he is 💯 a top 10 RB for the 2025 Buffalo Bills. Maybe top 5-7.

At this point I see most of Trump's pronouncements and threats as a lot of wind. And if I was in Canada I'd be more worried about China. Through stealth and what they call "elite capture" they've managed to infiltrate institutions, universities, and cultural organizations. Vancouver is more or less a satellite of the CCP. Thank their money laundering operation in British Columbia for high property prices. Triads operate freely out of Toronto. US intelligence and law enforcement has connected with Provincial and Canadian Federal law enforcement but not much has happened. I understand there's some crazy criminal wiretapping law where the government has to inform the crooks that their conversations are being monitored. Is that true? its sounds to ridiculous to be so. But I should not lecture. China has done a similar job here in the States paying off and inviting elites to play along with them for cash and perks while all the morons and simpletons are fixated on Russia. A classic misdirection ploy. We waste resources while participating in wild goose chases like this Ukraine democracy nonsense and they're razor sharp focused on a clear set of objectives and actions. I've got to admire their resolve while fearing their potential success. And please get those wild fires under control. The smoke is impacting an otherwise fine Summer day here. -
Ok - well we can just move on since we are not talking about the same thing, all good
