Was gonna say same thing. Epenesa has always been too light in the a$$ since his rookie year. Now Rousseau looks the same. Maybe he thinks it will help his pass rush and is trying to justify his new contract, but he’s not that type of player. He doesn’t win with explosion. He wins with his length, strength and ‘slithery-ness’. Looks easier to block this year so far.

In theory, this is true, but teams are reluctant to try this because if a kicker hits it slightly wrong and the ball doesn't make it to the landing zone, the consequences are pretty dire. The league wants returns, and so far, they are getting them.
-
Since the start of last season (including postseason) Josh has thrown 6 INTs in 664 attempts, a rate of 0.9%. Aaron Rodgers, probably the most famous QB for not giving the ball away, has an amazing career rate of 1.4%. Some people come on here decrying our lack of downfield passing without realizing that the Bills’ game plan and Josh’ approach are an evolution from the gunfight mentality that turned many games into chaos battles. Now we win with an exacto knife.

I think Bass is better at the new kickoffs, for that's worth. Prater doesn't get it deep enough in the landing zone.

Do The Bills Have A Passing Game Problem?
Big Turk replied to BillsFan130's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think the question should be do the Fins have a passing game problem after the graphic into the 3rd quarter where the average air yards per completion was -0.5 yards meaning the average pass completed was behind the LOS. Yikes, WTF was that? -
It took a while, but Tua Turnthaballova finally showed up!!

Is Babbich on the hot seat now?

Seems our only big weakness is 3rd down...problem is its really weak. -
Pretty much perfect schedule scenario. Sanders & Walker getting a ton of reps and showing a high floor. They should only get better. Looking like two hits on the DL for Beane. I think they’ll ride Bosa a little more than they’d like until Hoecht comes back, and then he’ll get ratcheted back a bit when we have a weapon like him to rotate in. Just get Oliver fully healthy. Hes missed, but we can win without him in this stretch. Just wish Hairston was able to get reps in this stretch. Hopefully they can get him on the field Week 5 or 6, Bye week and then a Carolina game before we play the Chiefs. This Defense takes a massive step if he’s an upgrade at CB2. Milano, imo, is a cross your fingers we get him to the playoffs healthy. Would like to rest him for a few weeks and get Dorian Williams & Shaq Thompson more reps … like what I saw from them, but they aren’t the weapon Milano is when healthy.

Do The Bills Have A Passing Game Problem?
Kirby Jackson replied to BillsFan130's topic in The Stadium Wall
That’s not completely accurate. The Bills game plan ABSOLUTELY did not call for ONLY 1 throw of 10+ air yards. I promise that wasn’t the goal. Guys were blanketed all over the field. The video review is going to be brutal for the WRs. The Bills WRs are among the worst in the NFL. The Bills have scored a lot of points. Both of those are true. We have reached a point in this era, where beating a bad team at home by 10 is the expectation. We should all be happy with that today. At the same time, there are concerns that if you are playing KC in January, and guys can’t get open, and you lose (again), it’s a disaster. Josh Allen is halfway through his career and they haven’t played for a Super Bowl yet. When you see a problem, that’s VERY evident, there’s reason for concern even if it hasn’t cost them a game yet. They played that way because they have the worst DBs in the NFL. They have to play like that. -
Hawes is showing some elite physicality.

Has there been any update on Hairston? He is due back after saints game? Keep healthy, keep winning, get one seed and get into playoffs. I think defense will be better once we get some guys back and they can gel some. Biggest concerns for me is lack of Groot….he is our highest paid d player and I am not sure I have seen him. Also a bit concerned about wear and tear on our Cook if we keep running him like we have been. division games are usually close and Miami playing for season so not too concerned with how close it was. Prater hits that FG and I think it is more lopsided but a W a W. Go Bills -
And Solomon's. He is better than both of them. He is being paid exactly what he is due according to the rookie wage scale.

Do The Bills Have A Passing Game Problem?

If the Bills have no deep threat why did the Fins play deep zone shell for most of the game and force them into playing underneath which seems to be the Bills strength? Isn't that odd? -
This. When it's 3rd and 10, with Hill and Waddle in a stacked set, with just Benford standing in front, with Bishop running over late, that's odd and concerning. And something to discuss because what the hell was that defensive call. What's up with Rousseau? Again, something to discuss and speculate on. Especially against a team that had a weak OL and was focussing more on Bosa. When Bernard makes a game ending interception, it's a great play and we all love it. What else is there to discuss on that?

Deone Walker Deflected the Ball on INT

We didn't think you were lying. -
That’s been the book on Allen for awhile now and our own fans want him to just play right into it lol. It feels like I’m watching a different game at times…a lot of these underneath/quick throws at the LOS are working but people only seem to notice the ones that don’t

I'll never get used to these new kickoff rules. They suck. Then again, I hate Baseball's "ghost runner" rule whereby games tied after nine innings enter extra innings with a runner automatically placed on second base. 😳 Both rules are just ugly
-
situationally and week-to-week the above may be the right call but a part of me thinks, dont get cute with it and blast it out the back. let other teams experiment with this and see how things go before we fine tune our approach. maybe thats why im here and not on a coach staff though

He is very athletic for a man of his size. He may have a bright future here

He is usually terrible with pressure and having to extend plays, but he was awesome at it last night. Hats off to him. The last two times he played us he has been a lot better. But that was a terrible INT. No excuse for that. It was a 5 yard gain at the beginning of the game. I was fine with not challenging it. -
Boom. I agree. Nice win for sure! Go Bills. But yes, Tre looks cooked! We need Strong and then Max to return. On the 3rd and 12 play where Miami ended up scoring the TD to tie at 21 - Tre was blitzing and wide openly missed Tua. Tua made him look like a rookie. Tre completely woofed on that assignment and boom - first down. Two plays later they targeted Tre in the EZ with Waddle - Touchdown, game tied. Other than Tre we will be fine. 3-0 baby.

looks like our best lineman right now as has size , speed and strength -
Dolphins are a nightmare matchup for White because of his speed. He made some great plays and some terrible plays. Very mixed bag for him.

Please. They gave up a whopping 276 yards and 21 points. Give me a break. Without Oliver, without Milano, without Hairston, without Hoecht, without Ogunjobi. Your take sucks.
