  1. Past hour
  2. Presuming the reply to a Twitter post that said “team changed plans due to injury” when the initial post being responded to said “Gabe had a setback…” ?
  3. I got to thinking about this because I was thinking ahead to the Patriots game when we play a division rival coming off their bye... which sucks. We also played the Falcons coming off their bye. We know how that went. We also played another division rival in the Dolphins coming off a Thursday night game with an extra 4 days of rest. And ya know what, we're going to play another big conference game against the Bengals where they're coming off a Thanksgiving Thursday Night Football game. Yes, the Bills benefitted from the bye week coming in to play a Chiefs team coming off a MNF game and a Saints team we got extra rest for after a TNF game and will benefit from playing on TNF next week against the Steelers, but we have 2 divisional road games this year where we are scheduled with a rest disadvantage. By itself, I wouldn't really cry foul, but the Bills are -7 in rest disadvantage days for the whole season. The next closest AFC teams even remotely contending for an AFC playoff spot are the Steelers and Browns both at -4 followed by the Texans at -2. All the other AFC contenders for the playoffs have a rest advantage with the Jags (if we wanna call them a contender) at +1, the Chiefs and Patriots at +2, the Bengals and Colts at +3 and the Ravens and Chargers at +5. Those are just the contenders for playoffs in the AFC. To show the disparity in rest advantages, there's a 32 day difference from the team with the greatest rest advantage in the Lions at +13 to the team with the biggest rest disadvantage in the Raiders at -19. And yes... gotta go out and win the games you play... but I guarantee statistically it's significantly more advantageous to play a team with a rest advantage rather than a rest disadvantage. You would really think in a league that touts its own parity, they would really be trying to make the schedule a little more equal than a 32 day rest disparity from top to bottom.

  4. WTH? Coleman needs to be on the bench and Gabe take his place.
  5. What's crazy is the company that prints these has employees doing them left and right and selling them on the black market
  6. He might grow into it, but I don’t think fans are giving him a fair shake. He has become a lightning rod when it’s more likely he’s being failed than he is failing. 🤷‍♂️
  7. My heart bleeds for the poor billionaire
  8. There was a kid I went to college with who was sitting on thousands of cards in the hope they’d be a collectors item one day. Turns out he was right. Though I doubt he’s hurting for cash lol last I heard he was a trading engineer for ICM Financial… Crazier is the price of those card packs. The majority hold little chance of a quality card but sel for tens of thousands. I remember reading a story about a guy who found a 20 year old pack under a shelf in target. Bet he got a pretty sum!
  9. I meant better than the Bills. I'd agree that they are clearly better than they've been. And anyone is right to say they're better than Buffalo to this point in the season. But it's December & January that separate the contenders from the pretenders.
  10. Robin Hood (or NYC's version).
  11. That's why I don't see this team struggling the rest of this season. I don't believe it has anything to do with motivation. It also has to this regime and their line of thinking.
  12. To quote Shady McCoy regarding the Bills receivers, Allen is dealing with the fries at the bottom of the bag. They have to run mainly because they have a good Oline and can’t throw well. But with the crappy weather starting up, maybe that style of play will pay off big time.
  13. Way better, they couldn't even win "easy games" the last 2 years, not that any game is easy like some people think.
  14. I would like to go but am not Just wondering if any people dug deep and went for it
  15. One thing I wouldn't rule out is a Practice Squad elevation of Te'Cory Couch. He's primarily a Nickel and I don't think it's a coincidence he was brought back into the fold last week.
  16. I'm not a big believer in trap games because guys get caught looking ahead, but let-down games are for real.
  17. I have to admit - I don't know anything. But I can't escape the feeling that this regime would much rather go w/ the mediocrity that they know & trust rather than take even the smallest leap to try to improve things.
  18. I've collected sports cards on and off for around 30 years. There are a lot of great people in the hobby. There are also a lot of grifters trying to make a fortune on cardboard. If these guys stole 70k in cards they likely stole cards that will be easily tracked. Brady also has tons of insurance. He doesnt need help.
  19. It's not an apples-to-apples comparison. We're a proven team that is struggling w/ a sort of repetitive futility, and has a "morale" issue. When the Bills get up for games, they most likely win. We have a sort of malaise going on. The Pats are a team that has morale to spare - they remind me of us 5 years ago - but they're not proven, and they're navigating one of the easiest schedules of all time (not an exaggeration). Maybe they are "better," or even the same. But I have my doubts.
  20. I have to wonder if Paul even knows what people are being charged... probably not. Love the guy but this would be a hard No...
  21. Well we did notice 4 different Bills fans walking on crutches around the lots and into game so there definitely was some similarity between the team and it's fans. Later a fight broke out and some dude was beating another fan with his cane. Just a sh!t show all around. Team didn't bring the energy and neither did the fans. I was afraid of a let-down after the Chiefs game. This team has those 1994 vibes where one week it looks like they can easily overcome their obvious personnel deficiencies and the next they can look hopelessly flawed.
