Things that are good about living in 2025
Bill from NYC replied to Another Fan's topic in Off the Wall
It sure is great that the Bills are still taking first round corners!!! I'm obviously joking. Every minute I can spend with my family and close friends is a blessing from God. -

Unfortunately, no surprise. Russia Launches Massive Retaliatory Strikes on Kyiv By Joe Cunningham Russia launched a massive aerial assault on Kyiv early Friday morning in direct retaliation for Ukraine's unprecedented "Operation Spiderweb" attack that hit 41 Russian strategic bombers across multiple airfields deep inside Russian territory. Russian ballistic missiles and drones have been launched toward Ukraine from multiple directions, the Ukrainian Air Force said on Telegram Friday, marking Moscow's swift response to one of the most audacious Ukrainian military operations of the entire war. Friday's Assault on Ukraine's Capital Fires caused by falling debris and drone strikes were reported in buildings across Kyiv, as Ukraine attempted to repel the Russian attack, the Head of Kyiv City Military Administration Tymur Tkachenko said. The attack targeted residential areas in the Ukrainian capital, with a high-rise building in the Solomyansky district of Kyiv damaged. https://redstate.com/joesquire/2025/06/05/breaking-russia-launches-air-raid-on-kyiv-n2190100 Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko confirmed the ongoing nature of the assault, telling residents via Telegram: "The attack on the capital continues. Stay in shelters!" Klitschko also reported fires in the districts of Holosiivskyi and Darnytskyi of the Ukrainian capital.

I believe the Elon / Trump rift is real and that they both have legitimate points to stand on outside of the ill advised spat on public display. Remember that Cruz and Rubio were once sworn orange menace enemies as well. I'm amazed how people are constantly surprised by Trump being the same guy he's always been. This is uncharted territory for Elon. Not even close for Trump.

And just like that, Democrats crawl out of the woodwork to whisper Karine Jean-Pierre was 'incompetent' by Monica Showalter Karine Jean-Pierre, the Democrat spokesweasel who called Joe Biden "as sharp as a tack" and was lionized as "an historic figure," has left the Democrat party and now has a book to sell. And in no time at all, the Democrat long knives have come out. What they're saying: One former White House official who worked closely with Jean-Pierre told Axios that she "was one of the most ineffectual and unprepared people I've ever worked with. ... She had meltdowns after any interview that asked about a topic not sent over by producers." "She didn't know how to manage a team, didn't know how to shape or deliver a message, and often created more problems than she solved," the official said. A former Biden communications official threw more wood on the fire: "The hubris of thinking you can position yourself as an outsider when you not only have enjoyed the perks of extreme proximity to power — https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2025/06/and_just_like_that_democrats_crawl_out_of_the_woodwork_to_whisper_karine_jean_pierre_was_incompetent.html

Yep. They’re on pace because they’re adjusting the PSL pricing to do so. Many people mistakenly think that factors such as construction overruns are impacting the cost of PSLs. That was never going onto be the case. The pricing was always going to be based on what the market would bear. The Pegulas were not going to leave money on the table.

Yeah, there was corruption at the highest level Third Biden Autopen Signature Discovered Amid Federal Investigation by Cristina Laila A third Biden autopen was discovered on Thursday amid a federal investigation into “who ran the United States while Biden was in office.” House Oversight Chairman James Comer is also spearheading a congressional investigation into Biden’s health coverup. On Wednesday President Trump directed his White House Counsel, David Warrington, in consultation with Attorney General Pam Bondi to investigate “whether certain individuals conspired to deceive the public about Biden’s mental state and unconstitutionally exercise the authorities and responsibilities of the President.” https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2025/06/breaking-third-biden-autopen-signature-discovered-amid-federal/ How many more will be found???

I've been a STH for over 15 years (on and off) and I had to say no, mostly due to the PSL. It sucks, I love being a STH and getting to know all the people around you, but with all the other things in life (kids, daycare, home ownership) I had to cut something. Maybe in a few years, I'll join the party but right now, I had to bow out and I hate it I'll be at every game this year, I'm taking it all in. But when the season kicks off in 2026, I'll be at home

NBA playoffs— anyone else watching?
BillsPride12 replied to Miyagi-Do Karate's topic in Off the Wall
As a Knicks fan I could see how you would be pissed about that, but I took it as him clearly paying homage to Reggie Miller and the history of the Knicks-Pacers rivalry so I thought it was kinda cool and I think the modern sports era is missing stuff like this. With that said it almost blew up in his face if they would have lost in OT -

Some HR folks work from home and get high on company calls, too.

Is it any worse than parroting what some ignorant goof at CNN or the WH press room tells you to believe about Biden's mental health or the efficacy of the vaccine? Everyone's takes are informed by what they consume in media, X, the scientific literature etc. You're FAR better off these days being informed by X sources, actual X alternative news sources, than legacy media. And it's not even close.
