"Stolen valor"???

He was 2019 Allenish. It was obviously a much bigger game to NE than to Buffalo. It seems they win the Superbowl in October. I remember those times during the drought years. Was the worst offensive output in a year. Not really much of it was due to Ne defense imo. I think the team needed it. Playing sloppy and winning was becoming a trend.

He’s talented and had a very good game, this Bills defense is bad and helps everyone they play look good. The kid didn’t score a TD and got a 3 point win in a game the Pats shoulda won by double digits, the Bills had zero business having an opportunity to win that game. Tre White, yikes.

I think the Div winners are Buffalo, Denver, Pittsburgh, Indianapolis. So NE's immediate competition is KC, LA, Jacksonville. Even if they win 10, it might not be enough, the margin for error is small. The AFC West has 3 playoff teams by itself. They're relevant, so if that means "back" then I guess they are. They have to prove consistency though. If they will 7 out of the next 8 that they should be favored in, then count me as a believer. Not until then though.

Great! Have you anything to prove he wouldn't have been successful beyond Mayock and an NFC exec who wasn't even sure if Mahomes was coachable? The fact that he corrected his footwork before the draft speaks to his motivation and bolsters my argument more than yours. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/38334676/untold-stories-patrick-mahomes-rookie-season In Derrick Johnson and Justin Houston, Tamba Hali and Eric Berry, the Chiefs had a group of defensive players who combined for 17 Pro Bowls and five first-team All-Pro selections. But in 2017, they had seen nothing like the quarterback who played against them each day in practice. "We were in awe of what he was doing," Johnson said. "We'd sit around talking about the throws he made on us in practice. We'd all talk about how he got us with this play or that play. "When it came time for the Broncos game, we all had our popcorn ready. We were sitting there saying, 'Watch this,' or 'Look at this.' We were starstruck when it came to the talent he had. There was no way he could throw the passes he could throw and not be successful." It's natural to wonder now, after what he's accomplished in his five seasons as a starter, how Mahomes and the Chiefs would have fared had he played as a rookie. Would he have a third MVP award? Would the Chiefs have won the Super Bowl that season? "I think I would have had some success," Mahomes said recently. "I don't think it would have happened as fast. I think there would have been a lot more mistakes, especially early in my career, early in my season. I think by the end of the year I could have figured some stuff out and made some stuff happen. I don't know if it would have been a Super Bowl run or anything like that but I think I hopefully could have gotten us into the playoffs. Bottom line, while Pat acknowledged he learned a lot his rookie year, he himself feels he would have been fine, just taken a little longer. The rest of his team already knew it before his first real game. Plenty more stories to that in the article.

Do you think we will ever win a Super Bowl with McDermott?
Fleezoid replied to Brianmoorman4jesus's topic in The Stadium Wall
The script for this year is already unfolding. The Chiefs will win tonight giving them a strong shot at the 1-seed with a season resurgence. The Bills will miss the 1-seed by a tie-breaker. After a couple more stumbles, the Bills will finish the season strong and take the division. ......Then get bounced in the division round or AFCC game with another weird label to go with all the rest. -
The final play to Shakir. Samuel was wide open for easy TD

In general I mean. They had good moments last night. Ultimately, the Patriots D was better. -
This and against a terrible defense.

Here is the knox fumble. Gilliam and Kincaid on the line next to brown were blocking at the snap. This looks like it was a straight handoff to knox and the timing was sort of off and knox just fumbled the ball somehow. -

The defense -Gave up 71 rushing yards on 22 carries. -Held the Pats to 3 out of 9 (33%) on third downs -Recorded 4 sacks -Forced 4 punts and a turnover They did their part last night. -

The Upcoming Trade Deadline: 2025 Edition

Jordan Addison Phone call should be made today, we know youre not ready to make a decision, but were interested and hit us back first if yall are ready. They can have a 2nd + late flyer, or some kind of pick exchange as the second pick... or a player of their choosing within reason (non starter, unless its a WR, but then a 2nd rder needs renegotiation) -

I don't think people are letting the other players and coaches off the hook. But you can't absolve Allen of every mistake just because he is the best player in the league and the best player in franchise history. The INT was terrible. The read option was terrible. The fumble may or may not have been on him. Interesting Allen and Diggs were yet again the best players on the field. -
No. He was okay. He didn’t have any touchdowns. He had the one good play when he was falling down that was about it. Otherwise he just looked like every other average QB in the NFL.

Just get toast white off the field. Can't believe the last couple teams didn't go right after him -
Was Drake Maye THAT good yesterday?
thenorthremembers replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
He is in his 2nd year and just outplayed arguably the best QB in the league. He is pretty darn good so far. -
Yeah... But whats under the moved site plan from 1973... That's where the stadium sits right now? The European settler family plot at Gate 6 wasn't touched, what was touched? I am a big mojo person, it was wrong... Probably why they attempted to get it right with archeologists & cultural liaisons this time around with new stadium... Yes anthem for a generation. I know, crazy... "Pink Houses" comes to mind too...

10/5/2025 GAMEDAY Bills vs Patriots Post Game Thread SNF
DapperCam replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
This game was like the Texans game in the sense that nobody was open, and everything seemed hard on offense. The difference is Allen actually played well in this game, and couldn’t get anything going in the Texans game. -

He was. Not shocking at all, honestly. -
Agreed. Maye made his 17th NFL start yesterday. Lotta room to grow. He didn’t look like all that in the first half, but he was elite in the second. If he can consistently play at that level, then he’s a top tier QB.
-
I think Maye had a “good” not “great” game. He also got to play against the Bills defense, which is incredibly soft. I wouldn’t say he outplayed Allen (who had to go against the Pats defense which is good). Allen would absolutely torch the Bills defense.
