We have had a lot of success with salvaging once great kickers, Hauschka and Kid Rock come to mind, was what I was going to say before I remembered he is embroiled in scandal. Reading between the lines, the Ravens know hes going to miss some serious time.

didn't you write that you attended Catholic Schools? Then you know that we believe the Pope is the successor to Peter. Many traditions are not biblically based. Perhaps you were taught that a very large group (the vast majority) of early Christians were illiterate. Thus the teaching through parables, statues, stations of the cross, Catholic art etc. It's only relatively recently that everyman has begun to "interpret" the bible. It's largely unfortunate imo. Literal interpretation ignores how things were written at the time. Many "reformed" churches do just that. At any rate, trump posing as the next Martin Luther or John Calvin in full clerical regalia within 2 weeks of their deaths would not be looked upon kindly.

Before the sex allegations he was a no doubt HOFer (probably)…wonder what will happen now.

Ranking The Last 25 Years of Week 1 Opening Games

Yes. 4th down Bledsoe to Moulds TD. I was in the stadium and the only other time I’ve gone from exhilaration to silence in such short order was the Home Run Throwup game when we were in the stadium in Tennessee. -
That's the point I was trying to make given the anonymous negative reports that came out with him regarding the draft process. I get the argument for having a cost controlled 5th round backup QB for four years that you might be able to flip a pick for but only if that player is willing to accept the role as a backup (what Beane tried to do with Jake Fromm). Based off everything I've seen and heard from him and his father.....that's not happening.

Taylor Elgersma - Practice Squad in 2025 ???
The Cincinnati Kid replied to DeepPass's topic in The Stadium Wall
Why do we want him? Potential? He isn’t getting playing time in Buffalo. By the time Josh retires this guy will be in his 30s. I just don’t see the point… Thread has Drought Vibes, sorry OP. It just does. -
For those who sit in the lower bowl, where’s your ideal view?
Tenhigh replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
I am 6'1, and the aisle can work a miracle for old knees. I love 20th row between the 30s if you can swing it. High enough to see the action but close enough to feel it. -

Our seats were the last row of the lower bowl, backing directly against the suites. Not only were we covered, but the people in the suite almost always opened it up so we got some climate control and some peeks at their monitors. That confused the wind as much as possible. I want to go see those seats if/when I get back for a game this year. They were not on the aisle, maybe 1/3 in, but they were sweet seats and full of great memories! I must say, that only partly made up for our seats under the seam in the roof at the Rockpile. When it rained the water collected on poured down on us like it was shot out of a fire hose! 🤣 -

No worries in the new stadium, the wind will be confused. -
Better, consult the Bible on the concept of Papacy, and the history of that office. Got me.

It's not the Vatican that's the problem. trump doesn't care what I think. He doesn't care what you think. My congressman is a maga and my D senator wasn't allowed in the VA hospital for an inspection recently. Not much a normal citizen can do in an authoritarian state until Nov 26, if trump hasn't banned elections by then.

Ernest Wolford I believe? Somehow caught that ball with the half the team on him 😢. That was my sadness opener for sure. That one was awful as well. Didn’t we tie that one late in fairly improbable fashion as well? -

How big are these people? 😦 -
Me, my brother and 3 of my Samoan teammates in HS played 8-man football... it was a SUPER small school in a small town in Nevada. We all earned full-athletic scholarships for D-1 football. I had to walk on, but earned a scholarship after my red-shirt year. My graduating class in Highschool had 32 people in it.

This was my early days as a Bills fan since I was 13/14 so it was a bummer but my investment wasn’t the same so can’t compare. But Bledsoe coming was super big deal -
I don't understand what you're trying to say. It sounds like you're making the argument that his skill wasn't worth the draft pick a team would have to use on him concerning his character. if so, I think that's the consensus among NFL folks. However, I think it also came out that as a player he's not nearly as strong a prospect as others in the draft, so there are also real football concerns. Regardless, It's hard to understand how a 5th round pick could possibly be a meaningful distraction to your football team. He's not going to be getting interviews when he's inactive on game days, and veteran leaders int he lockeroom won't be pushing for him to get starting reps unless he comes out and tears it up. In which case, win for the Browns.

Wide Receiver Train Full Speed Ahead- CHOO CHOO!
LEBills replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’m going to be honest. I tried reading through and responding to stuff but it was so long I probably missed things so I apologize in advance. Yes Josh is great but last year he was special including the lowest percentage of plays with a sack, interception or fumble since the NFL merger. Which is why he won the MVP instead of being a runner up. On top of that we had the best turnover differential since 2013. Both of those will regress to the mean and giving the ball up more and getting it back less will reduce our scoring. So I really wanted the Bills to try to upgrade the WR room this year and in the future by drafting some WRs that may develop into good players for us to even things out. Josh averaged his highest scramble rate and time to throw since at least 2020. Those both are because he had to get more done with a cast of blah skill position players that were not getting separation well. I also think If anything we have had to overpay for WRs in trades for Cooper and in free agency for marginal players in Samuel and now Palmer because we have not added young WRs to the team. So to circle back to the topic of this thread. Start drafting WRs starting next year. It’s good business. I hope everything works out this year with the improved defense. -
Saw Brubeck at the Montreal Jazz Fest...man could he still play well into his late 80s.

If you went to a big enough high School I would assume you probably know some division 1 athletes in some sports If you went to a school with 60 people I understand probably not But yes being a division 1 scholarship athlete is extremely impressive whether you're at an FCS School University at Buffalo Syracuse or Alabama

“Inside”being the key word. New stadium is a dome downtown right?
