  1. Past hour
  2. I have a funny feeling he'll be back and ready to play next fall. Achilles treatments have advanced alot recently.
  3. I think there is so much more potential on this and while I realize I'm a bum sitting on the toilet with my thoughts and Brady is a professional sitting on the coaches chair with professionals... I think we can do better. We like tight formations but spread our OL out wide. We don't always do this but we create large run lanes with our blocks when we do or let Josh scramble through more open windows when he must. With these tight formations teams pull their defense in but we don't have the speed to exploit it / do not take advantage of it. Several times in 12, often 22 (with Gilliam), or even 23 packages we can put someone taking the top off the defense and complete short passes. We could go back to the RPO we are capable of or just play action. Our running game is going to get us the furthest in the playoffs of all the things we do and protect the defense. However, we have to show the ability to pass deep and scheme the zones open. If anyone has the stats I'd like to see what defenses we are seeing predominantly, man vs zone and coverage calls because I have seen far too much man on the WRs and single high coverage to be happy. Quinton Morris is in Jacksonville
  4. Gilliam and Hawes have been excellent this year. I am waiting for a play action run fake to Cook with Gilliam being the lead and getting behind the defense for a big gain at a critical time.
  5. I'm sorry, but what's the point of this? Why would anyone want to spend time in there when the game is on?
  6. Yup I mean just in this thread what 8 to 10 guys have come forward with stories already or their issues. I’m sure there are many others who don’t care to or are afraid to share their issues. It needs to be normalized when it comes to men. A kid I worked with was going to be a pharmacist and was training to do it, seemed like a good kid, joked around a lot, just one night took his life. There are plenty of of other examples like Kneeland of people who seemed to have bright futures or were rich and it didn’t stop their internal suffering
  7. Guess they have Gilliam confused with Quintin Morris.
  8. We got tickets to see Messi play for Inter Miami on Saturday and a hotel across the street from that stadium. We just got tickets on the Visitor 50 for the Dolphins game. Any suggestions for parking, or things to do the morning of? Any parking suggestions for the game?
  9. Suggestions? Don't wear dark clothing!
  10. Completely sold out. We tried
  11. Until a team slows Kincaid and there is no other option. Having a good TE is an asset, but what happens when they need another blocker or a second option? Coleman isn't it.
  12. Anyone that acts surprised when it happens is new or already lost. They basically have to go heavy defense because to replace Milano, another DT, another DE, maybe a MLB, another safety.
  13. This is why I think it’ll be match-up specific. It really isn’t necessary to have that vs a guy like Tua, Flacco, Rodgers and even Stroud.
  14. I really appreciate you guys sharing your stories. This conversation is another opportunity for the fortunate among us to count our blessings and empathize with the stories of others. I really hope that any of our members who are having tough times feel they can reach out to others here for a needed ear or a hand. Also, don't forget that the Crisis Hotline is 9-8-8.
  15. This story is still pissing me off. Men's mental health is neglected too damn much. I've known far too many people to take their own life.
  16. Fish 37 Bills 20 With Benford out, Waddle ends the Hairston honeymoon, going over 200 yards and 3 touchdowns. Cook doesn't play more than a quarter before tweaking his ankle, and the run game does nowhere without him. The Bills keep it close, before a late turnover puts the Phins up 34-20. A late FG ends it and Tua takes the kneel down.
  17. Should've went to the Maldives, dummy. Looking forward to a future Antonio Brown Netflix documentary.
  18. We are losing the "power"/bull rush, and ability to anchor with Hoecht out. You could slot Hoecht at the 3 technique/4i on 3rd and 4-5. and not worry about his run defense either. Thats the big loss, that versatility- not sure they trust Solomon or Dorian at that distance to put them inside. 3rd and 6+, absolutely Dorian on the line makes alot of sense. He did a great job "sugaring" the C and got Hoecht or Solomon into some 1-1s vs thr guard -- then basically became a spy on Mahomes/helped eliminate Patrick getting outside the pocket/rushing up the middle. How many times did Mahomes take off successfully? Very few, because Dorian was effective at that spy/contain role. Edit: will just add, I think the 3 DL 2 LB 6 DBs (dime looks) is something McD has adjusted to playing against KC --- however, not sure we see that against many other teams. My point is that Im not sure we see many 3 man DL, unless a team with a team/qb who likes to move the pocket. That said, Dorian might not be deployed in this type of role week to week/its very matchup dependent.
  19. I agree and that's why I think we'd be better off with Thompson on the line Rushing the passer is difficult. It's not simply see ball get ball. HIs tracking to the quarterback was off. He would be better as an off the line backer playing as a spy to rush the passer. Too lazy to get into the nuances of it for those curious why. Just going to say that he doesn't have a nose for it, or the dog that it would take to get in there and be nasty.
  20. Damn it. Now I like Brady again.
