I know exactly what you mean. I replied to a post titled with confusing wording and gave them the benefit of the doubt they misspoke - but spoke on both potentials possibilities regardless. They ended up angrily replying and said I was wasting site bandwidth. Then they went to another thread and found a way to bring it up again in a condescending manner, to another poster, unprompted. Well written but incorrect. Knowledge is the basis for everything. It doesn’t always result in accurate analysis or action but it’s much better than lack of knowledge. But everyone has their area of expertise. I couldn’t get a golf tee out of the dryer filter recently ( it seems it broke before the exhaust blower did) and there are stains all over my driveway from oil changes. I can’t fix my busted mower after hitting a stump. I don’t even attempt plumbing or electrical . But I can look at you tube and try or decide that it’s over my head. Searches on political and scientific issues are available to all.
