  1. Past hour
  2. I will admit I was a little overconfident last week, and I suspect that some of the Bills players were as well vs the Saints by the level of play in the game. I don't see that happening this week vs a Division opponent..... the Bills will want to assert their continued dominance over the AFC East, and will take this game seriously from the beginning. Go Bills!!
  3. The best point in this video is that one of the reasons the running game is working so well is that heavy formations with 12 and 13 personnel are not pulling defenses out of cover 2. Because Josh Allen.
  4. Probably so, but that sounds pretty similar to the thinking everyone had for last night’s game.
  5. Josh Allen would f'ing dominate cricket and curling
  6. I don't think he'd do well as a horse jockey.
  7. Talking like you know how sportsbooks work and then claiming the Bengals are +600 when they are +25000 Lol
  8. I think that his mind is soft much more than his body.
  9. There it is...
  10. If Dorian Strong wasn't playing well, I would think the Bills were laying the groundwork for Strong and Dorian Williams to be the players to go on IR when Hairston, Hoecht, and Larry O come back.
  11. Sadly print newspapers are a dying breed. With instant news on the web their main reason for being is shrinking along with us old folks who look forward to reading the paper over a cup of coffee in the morning. Who remembers the Courier Express? There was also a Polish language daily.
  12. They're largely at fault for their own demise IMO, just like most other local papers. I used to subscribe via snail mail to the Buff News (I live in Albany); 1/2 the time I got the paper in 2 days, sometimes it took 3 or 4 & sometimes a LONG time. I would've loved to have had the option of paying for access via the net (or email) in a timely fashion. In the late 90s, "amateur journalism" become a thing (that's how I found TBD) cuz "regular" papers refused to adapt to the changing times. To what extent the proliferation of other sports journalism venues was caused by this, IDK. Perhaps it was inevitable eventually, but their stubbornness likely accelerated it. p.s. They're advertising pricing may have contributed to it to, as it wasn't at all in line w/ expense. Why did it cost like $400 for a few line job listing or house when an ad the same size for puppies or a garage sale was like $5?
  13. Flonkerton. Coffee Cup Race. Hate Ball. M&M Chug. Guess The Elevator. Dunderball. Josh would definitely concur 😉
  14. By pretty much every draft metric, Beane is a top 3 (absolutely top 5) GM in the draft. Its been posted here ad nauseum. I get it, we traded up for dude, and I wish he was playing like Walker right now, or Dexter Lawrence LOL... the reality is hes a rookie taking his lumps, in a defense with a ton of new moving parts, and a young DC. Lets give the kid a chance to develop! Theres an analytics post circulating on Twitter today showing he has the both 2nd highest pressure rate, as well as pressures among rookie DT's this season. Its early so, admittedly not the most meaningful stat..... but the flip side, is 4 games is not a meaningful sample size. Most of us dont see the All-22's, and even those that do dont know the assignments. What I do know is hes getting a chance to play a bunch and that can only help him. Adjusting to savvy veteran Centers/Guards who have been professionals for 3,5,10 years staying power in the NFL is a big jump. Lets see how hes looking over the next 8 weeks to get a more meaningful answer... but early stats seem to indicate hes doing well at the thing we expected him to come in and do well at early
  15. Sports books like to hedge their bets to not lose money.. heck I think the Bengals are still an +600 and does anyone even expect them win a game with this QB? and right now be a shock if the Ravens make the playoffs. Why? 34 teams out of 235 who have started 1-3 have made the playoffs that’s roughly a 14% chance of making the playoffs.. not exactly great odds. It amazes me how people forget how the NFL changes fast from year to year teams fall off and one usually comes out of nowhere be good like last year that was the Washington Commanders.. So now someone call me delusional when I post facts.. not once stating I expect the Bills under perform or anything.. heck if I had money I’d put it on the bills to go to the SB. Ok show me one post where I said I expect the Pats to win?
  16. Has Spirit Halloween taken over the Buffalo News headquarter building yet?
  17. Thanks, I’m trying, not drinking too much, eating right, getting some exercise… Oh wait you meant Bosa, well hopefully he’s doing the same thing. I wish I’d been there to comfort her.
  18. I think that hamstring issue that caused him to not push to go for it on 4th down was a very real thing.. I've never seen him caught from behind by lineman like we saw the last few weeks So yes, we did break them
  19. Well that is fair, and I am a big Baker supporter, been a fan since college. So I agree, I think Baker is firmly in the top 10 QB category right now and if I had to pick one I would take Baker over Purdy. That being said, I do think Purdy gets short changed a lot by others, and the way your post read I thought that was more your take on it too, so thanks for clarifying. Yeah, I agree with you on Mac. A backup comes in and wins a game, especially one they weren't expected to, and they get the attention and buzz. But to be fair to Mac, guys like Geno, Baker, and Darnold are all having success later in their careers too after being premium draft picks but faltering in the earlier stops in the NFL as they got better or into better situations. So who knows, maybe Mac can find a rebirth somewhere too. But I still agree with you and think that Purdy is the better QB and the guy I would trust more as my starter, at least right now.
  20. Haven't watched the vid yet but I'm impressed with the short pass and run games.
  21. Bahahah I wonder how much time he's gonna do. I think he's required to do 80% minutes time served, I think that leaves him with 2 years
  22. Congratulation Mark! Looking forward to reading some of your earliest memories of being a Bills fan. I became a fan in 1980, but I always enjoy reading the perspective of fans from the 60s and 70s. On a personal note, I’ve enjoyed sitting with you for some of the most memorable games in recent history, from the perfect game against the Patriots in January 2022 to Nyheim Hines’ two kickoff returns in January 2023…as well as the somewhat forgettable game last weekend against the Saints. And again, my offer still stands for you to join me (my treat) next year for a game in the new stadium.
