The annual QB tier rankings from The Athletic

And Burrow puts up the numbers without the rushing threat. I’d say he has an argument as the best pure QB of the 4. The guy just slings it. -

I think he would be just fine without them. He's the the best pure passer in football. One of the only ones left who play like QB's used to play. -
Never paid for a hooker... although, as most guys know... you are paying for it one way or another.

all of them? I’m saying adding in a bunch of 80s rock (ie 35+ years old) probably isn’t going to happen to replace the current stuff that’s growing stale

Burrow is great, no doubt but he also throws to 2 number one receivers. no one other than maybe Philly has better top two receivers imagine Josh or Lamar in that situation? -
Cam Little Nails 70-Yard Field Goal

Him and who else? If you care to see for yourself, look at all of the kickers selected first as far back as you’d like to go. Look at their career stats and then compare them with kickers who played in the league more than a couple of seasons. You’ll be surprised. Their stats are worse. I looked into this because I shared the OP’s view because it seemed to “make sense” and was surprised to find out the stats don’t agree. This is literally why teams don’t follow this strategy despite how critical the position of kicker really is. -
The Once & Future King, John Facenda

You are far from alone on this. A huge percentage of baby boomers were indoctrinated into NFL fandom via NFL Films. The glare of their productions were a huge reason that the NFL became America's Passion, eclipsing America's Pastime. -
Well, we know Mike White has the ability to put up a 300+ yard game. Trubisky is Trent Edwards that can scramble.

Awwwwwww. Gene Wu Says Texas Dems Who Fled Democracy Are Suffering Financially and Mentally (for Their Cowardice) Warren Squire Wow, Democrat Texas Representative Gene Wu looks rough. He says he and his fellow Democrats are suffering since they chose to abandon democracy and flee to their billionaire friend JB Pritzker’s hotel in Chicago. Looks like running away from a vote on redistricting is taking its toll. Oh, well. https://twitchy.com/warren-squire/2025/08/11/gene-wu-msnbc-cry-for-help-were-holding-on-threats-n2417101

Burrow is in that group. To say he is a distant 4th is almost as bad as putting Lamar and Mahomes ahead of Josh. -

I want to see a step punch. The legs drive and hands attack at the same time. My grandson who will be a sophomore in HS this year, they drill that in many ways over and over. -

I have always hated the Pats even before Brady/Belichick. I suspect Vrabel will return them to prominence and they'll steal a win against us this year. The division rivals always play us hard no matter who's having a good or bad year. -
The guy showed up and was a damn good teammate here.

Post-snap he pops upright too much, too fast; definitely relies on head fakes and shimmies like he's playing basketball...and still, he was keeping to his run keys (not knowing pre-snap obvs) on some doubles and keeping his eyes on the play as it developed. His height alone is a deterrent, he batted a pass, right? and he did record what looked like multiple hurries. -

To me Allen is a mix between Elway and Favre. I wish he had a system like both did when they won superbowls. A top WR doesnt hurt either. -

I think it was Dan Orlavsky that said, it’s Mahomes, Allen, Burrow, and Jackson at the top. And you can make an argument for ago of those 4 to be #1 -

Sorry, Burrow doesn’t hold a candle to Mahomes and Allen. -

So it isn't about statutory rape, but rather a noncriminal lie?
