Blue jersey's, white pants for the Chiefs

Besides obvious religious differences, not really. Think about it. Theyâre each coming from broken nations in poverty and are seeking freedom from oppressive governments. And before you say it, no, I donât fear America becoming an Islamic theocracy like many right wingers do. Itâs impossible under our Constitution (what remains of it, anyways). By the way, you better check the polls. Trump is RAPIDLY losing support of Hispanic people. Probably the whole âfaceless Gestapo brutalityâ thing. They went through Ellis island and got admitted to the U.S. in 5 seconds instead of waiting literal years.

They need to put Coleman in the slot more and see if that helps. Problem is that they don't have a whole lot on the outside even with Palmer healthy. They've put together an odd mix of talent at WR that has a lot of different attributes, but they don't seem to utilize those different talents in a complimentary way to get the most out of them. Yes its not the most talented bunch, but I feel like they should be better than they are if the coordination of the passing game was a little more deliberate. It seems like they are all willing and able blockers which is not a bad thing, but not really the thing you want to say they do best. I think Coleman has skill and has had 100+ yd games, it is a consistency thing and being put in a position to succeed. .

I agree with this. I love a dominant running game, such as we have, assuming you have the horses to execute (and we do). I'd much rather be run first team than a team that over relies on the pass. The defending world champions offer an instructive example. Saquon is of course their bread and butter. Earlier this got AJB's nose out of joint and Smith too aired his displeasure with the number of targets they were getting. The OC tried to cater to their needs but soon and firmly reverted to the norm because it simply wasn't working to optimal advantage. But the Eagles nevertheless invested in not one but two game breaking receivers and they are not trading a disgruntled AJB. I wonder why. It's not just that both the run and passing games are, ideally, complementary, each making the other better. It's that having a passing attack that can on its own be a credible menace to put up points on a defence is a good, and likely necessary thing to have if you want to compete for a championship. Passing cannot simply be only supportive of and an adjunct to the run. That's what we seem to have now. In the Steve Smith clip he is asked how important having a downfield threat was to the Bills O. He said it was absolutely imperative. I tend to agree. Anyway, not to worry, I'm pretty sure we are going to land Shaheen next week. Bills will overpay because they will need to.

I think that's fair. Rolling to his right has been almost an automatic big play for him throughout his career so it's a habit that's been positively reinforced and that makes it hard to break. This is the first year where those plays are hurting us more than they're helping us. Since a bunch of new WR talent isn't walking through the door Allen might need to adjust his approach.

James Cook named AFC Player of the Week
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
You donât have 245 total yard rushing without it being a team effort. Donât blink now, but the Bills are quietly the #1 running attack in the NFL! Who wouldâve thought that going into week 9? -
Elam is a cataclysmic bust. A few years earlier and I would say drafting him was what caused the dinosaurs to go extinct. Dallas is starving for corners and with him playing, WRs are wide open running down the middle of the field.

The number 14 represents the consecutive seasons the Jets have missed the playoffs.

The Bills just have to worry about beating KC. Get a harder conference game off your schedule and into the win column. After that just take it one week at a time. There's nothing to honestly worry about longer term because you can only project so far out. The Bills just need to beat KC do that and then you can see how it all shakes out.

I remember late in 2021 and early 2022, I would be shocked if the Bills didn't convert on a 3rd and long. Most of the time though they were converting on 1st or 2nd. The passing game was just that good. Nowadays it feels like a miracle if the Bills convert anything larger than 3rd and 2. Our offense needs to be more than just running Cook and throwing bubble screens to Shakir. It only takes a few weeks for teams to figure out how to shut those down....then what?

I was sitting in the endzone and there was a particular play on 3rd down where Allen left the pocket early....like real early without any pressure and of course went to his right. On the left, Elijah Moore was wide, wide open coming at me. It was one of those "ugghhh" moments.

Game week thread - Chiefs at Bills (Video preview on pg. 19)

Shaq didnât practice today. Hamstring issue. -
I would firmly take Palmer over Gabe, I would honestly take Samuel if healthy over Gabe, even Keon I think offers more. I would take Gabe if he's somewhat healthy over Moore and Shenault but I really don't think Gabe at this stage of his career represents the second best WR on the roster.

Billy this is⌠(AFC East Edition)
Gunvald's Husse replied to iccrewman112's topic in The Stadium Wall
"Billy, this is Xavier Worthy. Small and fast, doesn't fit our needs but the Chiefs really want him. They are going to get him anyway so let's trade our spot to them for their 3rd round pick." Seriously, people need to just stop with the "We gave Worthy to the Chiefs" rubbish. The only way they weren't going to get him was if we took him, and that wasn't going to happen. Instead, we moved up from 133 to 95 (and from 248 to 221) for nothing - which also meant that the Chiefs moved down from 95 to 133. Worthy is flash but, as @PayDaBill$ says above, he isn't substance (at least, not enough to justify the constant whinging) -
I agree - I also think/know Josh is slower this season. He doesn't have that acceleration and speed like he used to. It's noticeable.

He's actually said the direct opposite. Here's the thing, for this year I think the NEED to stick with Prater. They walked into an excellent situation with him being available. But he will be a year older next season. I think Bass factors more into the future. Let him rest and get his head right. Then, in TC next year...make him earn it. Bring in another kicker. Be it Prater again or another guy. The last thing you want is to play musical chairs with the K spot because there are so many bad ones out there.
