  1. Past hour
  2. The difference is the reader's subjective response to whether such claims are justified. There is some implied suggestion of credibility when these no names/no knowledge sources post some giant X view. A poster doesn't get that same response, and believing some ignorant goof simply because it's an X post is a really bad idea.
  3. The reason that they are on pace to sell out in March/April (if that’s true) is because they already adjusted PSL figured based on sales numbers. I doubt they put PSL numbers in stone. They have probably oscillated quite a bit.
  4. Been a season ticket holder since 2008. I didn't get much sympathy from those same people during the draught when I couldn't make the game in December and unloaded my tickets for $6 on stubhub with a big loss. I mean, not many people were flocking to bring their kids to the stadium to see Brian Brohm, Thad Lewis, Trent Edwards or Nathan Peterman. The ebbs and flows, demand will be high at first, but post Josh, who knows.
  5. I can inform that the US military is well equipped with extremely long range anti air missiles, those that receive initial guidance from the launce platform, link to a third party enroute, whether it be satellite, ground based, separate aircraft or other, the use internal terminal guidance at the end game. The issue will be the ROE. The US has very, very rarely allowed beyond visual range engagements and targeting, which such deployment would require. That is one of the significant benefits of the F-35. Not a great dogfighter, but unbelievable ability to process the battle on all levels, and team up with other assets to provide informed, coordinated response including all other aircraft with link capability and drones. There's a lot going on.
  6. Matt Breida-There’s a name from the past. That’s a real solid analysis. Maybe he goes to $10 mill per year on Cook max? But definitely not above that. if that’s the range that Beane values Cook at, it will be interesting if Cook shows up for training camp. He will probably have to play out the final year of his contract and then all bets are off.
  7. The bill is absolute garbage. As his economic plan. He isn’t pleasing anyone.
  8. NFL's Gamepass lets you watch every game on one platform for a pretty reasonable price. You can't watch the games live but you get them a few hours later with no commercials and you also get access to live audio. I used that service for years when I couldn't afford Sunday ticket and it was great.
  9. Are the Steelers just going to hand Rodgers the starting job? Shouldn’t there be a QB competition between him and Rudolph?
  10. Musk didn't tell us anything we didn't know already. We all know trumps name is on there and that's why they are not made public.
  11. That's when we will hear the sob stories about someone's kid crying they can't see their hero Josh Allen in person and can someone sell them tickets for $20.
  12. Tomlin weighs in … https://www.facebook.com/share/r/16W8UtboFd/?mibextid=wwXIfr
  13. We have no idea what the seat count is. Reports swing wildly. My ST rep told me I couldn't get any closer than back 5 rows if I wanted to stay between the 30's. That there were zero seats closer. So IDK, maybe she was BS'ing me as not to spend an hour clicking around the stadium. But that is what I was told.
  14. Short version: I want it, but don't want to pay
  15. I was lucky. managed to get seats in the Takeo Spikes section for only 30 dollars
  16. Can't stand how Schopp and the Bulldog always talk about sports betting. I really don't listen to them anymore.
  17. Is this a hate post or a love post I cannot tell
  18. No problem with Cook holding out - he's free to work, or not work as he desires. Cook has already earned $4.6M. Playing this season on the existing contract earns him another $5.4M. He will have earned $10M before age 26. If you assume that between his agent and the tax man, he only nets half of that ($5M), he could have multi-generational wealth even if retired at the end of this upcoming season. If he controls his spending... My issue is with your two implications: First, that he needs this next contract to secure secure financial salvation for multiple generations. That the $10M in earnings on the first contract isn't enough for multi-generational wealth. Your second implication is that the difference between what the Bills would like to sign him to (probably around $10M/year) and what he wants, $15M/year) will be required for multi-generation wealth. With respect to issue #1: Studies about NFL player bankruptcies show that larger contracts and longer careers do NOT substantially reduce their risk of bankruptcy in retirement. This study (https://www.bls.gov/opub/mlr/2015/beyond-bls/life-after-the-nfl.htm) projects 15%-40% of players, regardless of career duration and earnings, will file for bankruptcy within 25 years of retirement. As to implication #2, I would bet Beane would gladly sign him to a contract for $10M/year for 2 years right now. I'm not advocating that Cook accept $10M/year, just making a point that he could likely sign a contract today that guaranteed him $20M over 2 years. That would get him a total of 30M in career earnings before age 28. He has indicated he wants $15M+ year. Over 2 years, that would be an additional $10M+ in earnings. So $40M in career earnings vs. $30M. I would postulate that if an athlete (or person) doesn't have the financial discipline to create generational wealth on $30M in career earnings, the bump from $30M to $40M won't make a difference in financial salvation. Now, I don't have any issue with him (or anyone) holding out, refusing to play, holding in, etc. It's a free market. But let's not characterize this as "two generations of family wealth", or he's got to "feed his family" as Latrell Sprewell infamously said when rejecting a 3 year $21M contract 20 years ago. Speaking of Latrell, he had north of $100 million in career earnings and now has a net worth of about $150K. So much for financial salvation. Ronald Read, on the other hand never made more than minimum wage working as a janitor and gas station attendant yet died with a net worth of 8.6M I postulate, above $500K in annual income, financial salvation is only dependent on your spending....
  19. He received a transmission in the dark room instructing him to.
  20. Gotta be like 5,000,000 to 1. I didn't realize that if you block an XP and return it all the way that it's worth 2 points, not 1. Thanks for sharing.
  21. I would have done better on the SAT’s if they didn’t take place so early in the morning. The hangover didn’t help either.
  22. It may seem legal but in reality, the service is not following Broadcast regulations. If you have to use a VPN or the service is based overseas to avoid broadcast regulations...it's not legal to view in the US without being a subscriber to the service that the broadcaster intends for you to use. It's just easy to do and you're paying someone else to do the work for you so it seems ok.
  23. 🤣... If I wasn't so old I try figure out how to change vague title, but sadly, I can't and as a response to all...
