I think since trading Myers the Raiders are probably the worst. And Tennessee once Ridley went down are right there with them. Cleveland is hard to categorise. I think they suck aside from Jeudy and his production is down this year, but they have started three or four different Quarterbacks (none of them good). So maybe that is currently the bottom three. I think the rest of those teams have either a better version of the solid but unspectacular group we have (Pats) or one young player who very clearly would be the number 1 on all those teams (Harrison, Nabers, McMillan). So maybe right now I'd put the Bills WR group 29th. Maybe. I asked co-pilot to rank NFL teams based by WR production in 2025 and (I haven't verified) but it has us 28th with 1,593 yards. -
The Ravens game is meaningless because the Pats would have a tie breaker on division win/loss if both teams won out minus that game. Pats need to lose to either Miami or Jets for us to win division. Losing to Ravens I guess at most would allow us to lose another game. Personally I would rather the Pats beat the Ravens and keep them out of the playoffs too. Miami is the key game assuming the Bills win out.

Debate Over: Drake Maye canât hold Josh Allenâs jockstrap
Utah John replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Josh Allen currently has 25 TD passes and 12 TD runs. He seems like a lock to extend his record of 40+ TDs in a season. -

Is it forcing the scheme on the player or adapting the scheme to the players strength. It appears the former and hence not seeing the results. -
Debate Over: Drake Maye canât hold Josh Allenâs jockstrap
NewEra replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agreed. Heâs morphed from a Bills fan to Josh Allenâs mother. Maye is going to be a special player in this league. Heâs not Josh Allen and I donât know of many people (if any) that said Maye was better than Allen. -
What is the "real reckless" talk? Bc I didn't see anyone saying Drake Maye is better than Josh Allen. I don't think there's any question as to who the better QB is right now. But it's also not a fair comparison. Not only is Josh more physically gifted (and quite possibly the single most physically gifted QB of all time), Drake Maye is in only his second year. Josh Allen wasn't the guy we know now in Year 2. And Drake Maye in Year 2 is a better QB than Josh Allen was in Year 2. Does that mean he'll be better than Josh is in Year 8 when he's in Year 8? No. But we don't know for aure that he won't be either. Either way, this reads like cringe homer hyperbole. Stuff you yell out when you're leaving the stadium inebriated and yelling "hey-ay ay ay!". Like the Bills fans that say Lamar "sucks" or "can't hold Josh's jockstrap". The truth (like with Lamar) is that Josh may be better, but Drake Maye is still a VERY good Quarterback. If he couldn't "hold his jock" as you put it, we wouldn't have lost to them earlier in the year. We wouldn't have had to come from behind today. The Pats wouldn't be 11-3 and he wouldn't be considered an MVP candidate. Not being the #1 QB in Football doesn't mean you can't still be very, very good. And Maye is.

Around the League Thread - Week 15 (no bills discussion please)
UKBillFan replied to ryguy101's topic in The Stadium Wall
Who's going to be available who's an upgrade during the off season? Every QB has had stinkers this season. I think defensive plays and schemes have improved, probably because of the improvement in offensive play. One is boosting the other. - Today

Wallowing in your own misery is enjoyable for some

I think the issue is that the WR situation should be better or there should be 1-2 more difference makers on defense. But to act like this team is the 2007 Cavs being carried by one superstar player is insanely dramatic.

iccrewman112 replied to ChronicAndKnuckles's topic in The Stadium Wall
I will say there are plenty of other comparable WR rooms, Raiders, Titans, Panthers, New England, Browns, Giants, Cardinals. most of those teams stink, but they also donât have solid QB play. all that being said, I am disappointed in the creativity on offense on most plays, but am impressed by the teams ability to identify what it does well and then execute it better than their opponent can stop it. In a simulator Iâm curious what an Andy Reid or Ben Johnson would do with this offense and how it would be different. -
The scouts aren't the issue. The scouts are why the Bills are one of the best day 3 drafting teams in football. That is the scouts day. The problem is the execs - Beane, Gaine, Gray, Bazirgan. Generally they are the guys who are involved in the decisions on the day 1 and 2 picks.

Agreed. Those types of moves can win super bowls but they can also set teams back if that player gets injured
-
A pure âseason from hellâ for KC. ACLâs are not the career altering injuries they used to be esp for QBâs. Hopefully by next season heâs fine. Injuries are the worst part of the game.

After this game (and others) I donât see WHY Cook is considered anywhere below elite, or nearly that⊠dude is a Chris Johnson clone with the right blocking each week. And I know youâre just playing devils advocate⊠Kincaid and Bosa are.the other 2⊠Benford and Oliver would be close to elite, with complementary parts at the right moments in the season.. if the DL could just click.. I donât think this team is far off.. but with injuries and depth issues at specific positions, itâs a âJosh Allenâ show as usual⊠not as far as we Bills cynics think though?

How would you handle this WR Room for the rest of the season/playoffs?
Rat-boy replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think @HOUSE @WotAGuy and yourself are locks to make the team, and @Einstein may be a solid addition to the practice squad. đ -
About time to throw some flowers at Chris Tabor, the guy has our Specials Teams playing at the highest and most consistent level I can remember. Steady kicking, good coverage and overall excellent kick and punt returns. This was supposed to be the Patriots strength today but it was our unit that provided excellent field position time after time in this game.
-
Don't worry, he's on my fantasy team in the league finals, so he's not a threat.
-
Thank you! You just know that all of the "experts" on television were salivating at the thought of the Patriots* winning today, so that they could shut the door on Josh Allen and the Bills and welcome the second coming of New England. "NOT SO FAST!" The Bills said today!
