  1. Past hour
  2. First one bites the dust. Who's next? I'll bet TEN is wishing they'd kept Vrabel.
  3. It might be his specialty but it's no easy task, I mean I've seen Keon catch some balls that not seen since the days of Eric Moulds but also seen him drop balls that felt were catchable. Truth is long sideline throws no easy catch no matter who's out there. Heck Gabe Davis was plucking them at will early on his career too.
  4. Any chance Poyer starts tonight? I’d really rather see him out there than Rapp. I don’t think we lose speed and we gain a ton of intelligence.
  5. Not only should Mahomes been flagged. But his taunting was bad form. Yeah, other guys talk trash out there. But flexing on a guy specifically like Branch wasn’t the kind of trash talk that is done in good fun. That’s why Branch wasn’t in the mood to shake his hand. You don’t see that with Josh, when all these guys who were trash talking during the game are laughing after the game. it’s also why Mahomes’s post-game outburst re the Toney penalty a few years back showed his true colors. Dude is a sore loser, and a phony.
  6. He needs to evolve on those fits. Those are very 2019.
  7. I never said we were their only chance to trade up or that Worthy wouldn’t have been there when the Chiefs picked. Either way, given the Chiefs are the team we’ve been trying to get past in the AFC, we shouldn’t have been the ones to help them. It doesn’t make any sense to help your nemesis.
  8. Much appreciated. I sense that GOD has truly blessed Canada and continues to do so. I respect the fact American decided to go in another direction recently.
  9. I've gone back and watched the play a bunch of times from both the sideline and endzone angles. If that had gone off, it was going to go for a big gain. I'm sure they worked on that in practice and just flubbed it on gameday. Knox was there a split second too early and was ever so slightly past Josh when he turned to hand him the ball. But in general, I don't want them to stop trying to run creative plays just because that one didn't work. Here's the handoff moment:
  10. At this point, I'm more upset we didn't draft Cooper DeJean over Coleman. I was on the WR train with everyone else in that draft, but DeJean really called to me and I wish we had drafted him.
  11. I always wanted someone to do an analysis of how many game-altering PI calls they benefitted from. It's just an unbelievable advantage to be able to just chuck the ball up at a critical point in the game and get either the phantom PI call - or the one that probably wouldn't be called for the majority of other teams. This AM on Get Up Rex was comparing the frustration the Lions must have felt at the end of the game last night with no penalties called on KC, with playing NE in the old days. With Bruschi sitting there he said this: "When it starts going bad you feel it. Trust me I felt it on the sideline when we'd play the Patriots and you'd be looking like 'oh now you're gonna throw a flag cause when the games on the line they <usually> never throw that dang flag' Like sometimes you'd literally feel it"
  12. I don't really pay attention to what KC fans think or say. My point was that Mahomes should have been flagged for the taunt (it was not just a point - he flexed at Branch, but you know this) - the NFL has specifically said that taunting was going to be a point of emphasis in 2025. So, what happened here? I'm done here - now back to the Mahomes Lovefest.
  13. I saw he was questionable with neck, ribs and something else... shoulder? Im more irritated about that than I even am about Poyer. I believe I saw Settle was leading league in pressures, or something similar
  14. Watching Hitler bring peace to the Middle East is the most heart warming experience of my life... Hitler and Israel together is unstoppable...
  15. I've been watching College Gameday since the Tim Brando, Lee Corso & Beano Cook days. Lee Corso had to retire and probably should have earlier. Despite that, his impact on the show was definitive, and he is sorely missed. It wasn't just the headgear, Corso provided good analysis and insight without being a big mouth. College Gameday is still a good show, even if it is too long. Rece Davis is a good host and Kirk Herbstreit and Desmond Howard are good at analysis, although Desmond needs to stop laughing at every single joke on the show. Nick Saban looks and sounds like he's on life support, and then there's Pat McAfee. McAfee has been given the distinction of taking Corso's place with the last prediction of the headlining game. Always kissing up to the host crowd, being very loud, taking his shirt off, and why is he always standing on his chair? We can see you fine, Pat. ESPN needs to find someone a little less spritely to fill the void of Lee Corso.
  16. Wasn't he exiled when Worf killed Gowron? 🤔
  17. Ive never seen a board so in love and obsessed with such a mediocre player. Its ok to want more speed here, but that doesn't make Worthy the guy either. The miss in that draft was no where close to Worthy. If the Bills could go back to their original pick and instead of trading the pick away made their selection, there is 0% it would be Worthy, literally 0%. There are better players that were available there than what Worthy is, including at WR, but also several other positions. The real "miss" was not trying to trade for BTJ (The big 3 were not realistic and there were no trade partners, this has been confirmed as none of the teams up that high wanted to come down as far as Buffalo was). Now its possible Beane tried, none of us were in the war room - but based on everything we heard and what Beane said before and after the draft, etc, its a pretty reasonable assumption that we did not try to move up at all. But, I really felt his combination of size and speed was rare and that to pair that with Josh was both something I thought we would try and get (and should try and get) if he got to a reasonable trade up range. At the same time, I get Beane (and really everyone) expected the team to be in a mini-retool last year with the turnover on both sides of the ball. So I get why moving up was less appealing in a season we were already down a 3rd even though I still would have entered the draft with the notion that if BTJ got close enough we would at least try and get him. And that opinion is not after his rookie season, I went into that draft both wanting that and believing that we would do that too given the needs at WR.
  18. The point is that you don't see KC fans (or other fanbases) judging Allen for that years after the fact. I brought up the taunt because people are berating Mahomes for pointing at a player, despite Allen doing the same exact thing on multiple occasions. People also accuse Mahomes of flopping, while hand-waving the fact that Allen is one of the most blatant floppers you'll find. I'm not saying this to disparage Allen. I don't dislike Allen. The point is it's ridiculous to paint Mahomes as classless, petulant, or whatever. He's been the epitome of class in every interaction w/ the media and fans over his entire career.
  19. I meant the free over-the-air channels haha. And I checked 506Sports, it’s on WGRZ (Channel 2), thank God. ABC has the other game of the derp-le-header nationally.
  20. With the way Rapp has played this year, I am open to any and all ideas. I know many thought Bishop would be the weak link back there, but he has actually been getting better each week he plays. It was never a question of whether he could do it physically, but rather with his "want to" and "desire" because he has all the physical tools you would want in a safety. And he's shown that he is going into the role. On the other hand, I think "Rapp has the "want to" and "desire" but for whatever reason, has physically fallen off a cliff. He wasn't the most athletic guy to begin with, but this year he looks like he is running with cement shoes on, taking bad angles, missing tackles, and still injuring our own guys. He's been a mess more often than not back there. So, I am open to any and all options back there. You want to try Hancock? Fine with me! Want to try Poyer? Sure, why not. He may have the exact same physical limitations when it comes to speed and angles, but I think he is a smarter, more instinctive player. Ideally you figure something out in the next couple games before the trade deadline, but knowing them, especially McDermott, he'll keep rolling Rapp out there because he likes his leadership.
  21. Good point. The Falcon does have to land on the ground for the Buffalo to tramp it right? Or is this one of those Buffalo Wild Wing Buffalos that have wings?
  22. I don't expect that Poyer is going to suddenly start playing like the Jordan Poyer of 5-6 years ago. I do expect the Bills to sign hin to the 53 man roster and take Hamlin's backup snaps. Barring injury, that will probably be 2 or 3 snaps in a game.
  23. I am thinking of heading to Buffalo for either the KC or Bucs game next month. I assume the KC game ticket prices likely would not go down much. Seems like 360 and up is the price I see for mostly section 300 tickets. Any ideas on best places to stay for access to transportation to and from game? I was thinking of flying in and just looking for Uber and perhaps a rally bus to and from the game foe transportation. Worth it to fly to Toronto, stay on Canadian side of the falls? And bus over for the game or would that be a border hassle? Mods can delete this post if it is repetitive or off topic. Just thought I would put it out there. I am from Atlantic Canada and was looking to get a general idea of price. From what I am pricing for flights to Buffalo, hotels, tickets, etc, it looks like between 4 and 5 thousand, which makes me question my sanity hahaha.
