Asante Samuel (Sr) speaks out on the Dolphins...
Fleezoid replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is a pretty good article. Good synopsis of all the Dolphins' recent issues and the type of culture that emerged over the past few years. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/after-a-tumultuous-offseason-its-time-for-dolphins-to-prove-they-have-the-fortitude-of-a-real-contender/ -
You did state your position. On something completely different from what I had called you out on. You moved the goal posts. You asked someone to post good catches, and he did. And you said they weren't. It was a ridiculous contention, and I called you out on it. You replied specifically to that post of mine, and yet didn't say a single word about those four highlights he posted. You instead changed the subject, precisely as you showed in big letters above. If you have a problem that has nothing whatsoever to do with my post, that's fine. Unless you do it in a reply to my post. Which is exactly what you did. You replied to me, moved the goal posts and totally changed the subject, addressing not a single thing from my post. Again, feel free to bring up other points. But not when replying to a post about something completely different. When you do that, people will accuse you of moving the goal posts. Reason being, that's exactly what you're doing, moving the goal posts. As for the screen shot photo, yeah, you haven't seen it before because as I said, I screen-shotted it myself. From the All-22 film. You can very easily get the angle in a live sequence by looking at the All-22. It's right there on NFL Plus, as we speak. I just accessed it and copied the screen shot about, what? 45 minutes ago, probably.

Why does MAGA hate children?
thenorthremembers replied to SectionC3's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
The way I chose to frame it is an attempt to point out Democrat hypocrisy. The other issue I continue to have is the manner in which the Medicaid and SNAP cuts are framed. When anyone with a heart reads "Trump is cutting Medicaid and SNAP" they immediately get upset. What people are failing to do is actually read what the cuts are. This is the real insult to people's intelligence. Both the Medicaid and SNAP benefits cuts do impact illegal immigrants, which is common sense. Both cuts impact able bodied citizens without dependents. And even in the case where they dont have dependents they still qualify for aid if they work at least 20 hours a month. The SNAP cuts did remove housing credits for phone and internet. Personally, I think people getting aid from the government should pay for their own phones and internet, despite that many state governments allow for free internet for low-income households. What the hyperbolic headlines should say is "Medicaid and SNAP Cuts to impact Illegal Immigrants, and Able-Bodied Americans not working 20 hours a month." Disabled people, and caretakers will still qualify for aid. I stand by my original statement which was to point out that the left wing only appears to care about children when it helps their narrative. They have no problem slaughtering babies by the millions. Make no mistake about it, this fake anger they are now showing about protecting children is about elections not actual empathy. -
Grok = MAGA. LOL.

Perspective on the Bills from Eagles fan site.
Mikie2times replied to BigAl2526's topic in The Stadium Wall
Actually, the difference is, what is repeatable vs what is not repeatable. The Ty Johnson play vs Denver was not repeatable. It was not part of our offense. It was Allen doing Allen things as Allen does most the year. This offense is a mirage. It's Allen off script creating for a large part of the production which losses consistency at random times as it's not a consistent way to generate offense. You need to actually understand the game a little to make such an observation. -
Making Grok less woke resulted in it going full on Nazi and fantasizing about rape? A bit on the nose, but MAGA never has been much for subtlety.

I like it better when the bills are under rated in all of these time filling exercises. I loved last year so much because the bills spent the offseason being told all the stuff they couldn’t do. that kind of motivation always works with modern athletes.

Labatt Beer to Issue "Goodbye Ralph" Beer
Ridgewaycynic2013 replied to Bob Lamb's topic in Off the Wall
The 'green death' name was apparently first used by New Englanders to describe Heffenreffer beer, but the name was happily coopted by WNYers to describe Genesee's ale...and it's effect on drinkers. * During a few strikes in the seventies and eighties, Brewers Retail (now the Beer Store) closed, and LCBOs were allowed to import large amounts of cheap beer from the U.S. In the Niagara Peninsula, we seemed to get a lot of Blatz beer, which my brother described as the beer named after the sounds made the following morning after drinking it. -

It's a real shame some girl didn't pack a bomb in her bra.

appears this was coordinated with a fake X account. gee, I wonder why they picked a Jew to frame? https://www.hindustantimes.com/world-news/us-news/did-cindy-steinberg-call-camp-mystic-missing-girls-future-fascists-fact-checking-groks-claim-101752023569359.html

I'll take whatever ranking they want to give us. It's just a real treat to be talking about a top offensive line on a Bills team. Wind it back about 10+ years when year after year, the Bills were consistently in the bottom half of the league and everyone was saying 'we need a better O-line'.

Improving on last year’s D should be easy really. Bishop and Milano will be better. Rush will be better. I can’t wait to see it.

A little short story about that Richard Reid shoe bomber thing, Paris to Miami flight. I flew a trip with the the first officer who dealt with Reid once the passengers had him zip tied to the seat, which was much more difficult than expected. He was talking to to Reid had the shoes in his hands and had no idea what the deal was so he brought them up to the cockpit. So the three guys are sitting in their seats on the flight deck, and looking at them and one of them figures out it's a bomb when they note the wiring. Anyway, the captain shouts "Get those things out of here," which the the spare First Officer does. He told me he couldn't believe how stupid he was to bring them up to the cockpit, but never gave it a second thought. There's even more to the story after they landed in Boston and watched the police screw around until they finally figured out it was a bomb.

from cnbc In its earlier posts on Tuesday, Grok criticized and referenced a “Cindy Steinberg,” saying that she was celebrating the death of children in the Texas flooding. It’s unclear to whom Grok was referencing, and users on X asked the chatbot who it was talking about. Cindy Steinberg, the national director of policy and advocacy at the U.S. Pain Foundation nonprofit organization, told CNBC that “it has been deeply upsetting to see these statements circulating online, wrongly attributed to me, and further amplified by platforms such as X’s chatbot Grok.” “To be clear, these comments were not made by me,” Steinberg of the U.S. Pain Foundation told CNBC in a statement. “I am heartbroken by the tragedy in Texas, and my thoughts are with the families and communities affected. It is profoundly disturbing to see anyone’s pain used as a vehicle for hate or false narratives.”

Is Ed Oliver still on the team by September?
Buffalo Junction replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
It’s a benefit of hindsight. I think a lot of people on here are forgetting some of the pre draft concerns for the other three DTs…. Lawrence failed a PED test before the championship game, Simmons had an assault charge and ACL injury, and Wilkins had that bootyhole incident which we’ve all seen translate to how he’s handled Allen’s junk in a pile. Oliver was the “cleanest” prospect of the four going into the draft, although I’m not so sure he would have been the pick if the other three didn’t have predraft snafus. -
Anyone wearing Golashes going through the airport should be arrested immediately. Especially if they're also wearing the yellow, Gorton fisherman raincoat.
