We can fail to get the 1 seed, finish 2nd in the division and win. Super Bowl. I think the pats will lose 3 more game max. it’s week 7. We may continue to have a rough patch until we figure some things out scheme wise and get some guys back/make a trade/s. I won’t be discouraged until I see how we play in December. That version of the team is all that matters.

Plausible X/#1 receiver trade candidates — are there any?

As to your last point, the current consensus "king of offensive geniuses" and "best coach in the NFL" used to have a reputation for losing big games and horrible clock management. https://www.si.com/nfl/2016/09/05/nfl-clock-management-andy-reid-homer-smith https://phillyinfluencer.com/2016/01/here-are-some-of-andy-reids-all-time-top-clock-management-screw-ups/ https://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2019/1/18/18185839/andy-reid-kansas-city-chiefs-clock-mismanagement-timeouts -

Though the defence has fared badly I remain more concerned about the offence. You've provided a good explanation for why the D has underperformed. Injuries to key personnel, suspensions etc...and I would add the fact that they are totally retooling it, that it is partly in transition. I'm pretty confident that when the bodies are back they will likely start again performing at an acceptable level. They held the Falcons to 3 points in the second half. If the DC isn't up to it McD will be more involved. The Bills win when they score 30 or more points. When they score less their record is I think negative and they are at serious risk of defeat. So I think the best bet would be to increase the margin of victory. A (healty) Olave for example would transform the passing game and the offence in general. We need to go with our best shot considering what we have under center. It's also going to get more difficult. I think opposing DCs are starting to figure some things out. -
THE WR TRAIN IS MAG LEV NOW! Where are we at with New Orleans now Beane? You are in negotiations for Olave and/or Shaheed? I don’t give a damn about the defense. Get Josh Allen some help! Now! That is priority a ***** one. Once you get Josh help, then fix the D. CHOP-CHOP! GO BILLS! PS GABE DAVIS IS NOT THE CORRECT ANSWER

Saving democracy is very important so long as it doesn’t interfere with kickoff amirite? -
And they have a good running game we are pretty awesome at stopping the run

They're plenty good enough, as evidenced by the Lombardi they won last season.

The draft is a crap shoot. I don’t have a problem with Beane’s drafting. The problem has always been mcdermott’s defense folds like a cheap suit when it matters and he’s not a good decision maker in the heat of battle. Beane has given McDermott everything he’s needed on both sides of the ball within the restrictions of the salary cap. Pegula isn’t a meddling owner and writes every check they want. McDermott’s time is up. -
3 catches on 6 attempts for 11 yards his last game. All you dream about your first pick, with the WR you chose. Own it Beane. And admit that you are wrong about neglecting WR room

We have a good chance of losing another one, after the bye, @ Carolina Panthers. Their secondary is ranked in the Top 10. We're playing at their house.

This is spot on. I'd add Adonai Mitchell who has done nothing in Indy though they are steamrolling teams as some here love to say. And let's not forget about local hero Troy Franklin. There is so much revisionist history here. Yeah I do know many here wanted McConkey and many wanted Worthy (who has about same stats as Keon), but as many people also wanted Mitchell, Franklin or Leggete and are quiet now, or pretend that they always loved McConkey. -

While I would love to see Tee Higgins and JaMarr Chase in Bills uniforms, it simply isn't fiscally reasonable at this point. Besides, didn't the Bills have the #1 scoring team in the NFL last season with a bunch of JAGS at WR? This offseason, the WR room did improve. Currently, the Bills have a top 5 offense again, only with one of the best run attacks in the NFL. This team at the bye week looks like a real MASH unit with so many injured on both sides of the ball. They get Oliver back, only to lose DQ in pregame warmups. I'm pretty sure the offseason plan was not to have Jordan Poyer play, or Tre White, for that matter. The Bills drafted 3 DBs with the expectation that the #1 pick would probably start, and yet all three are injured, along with the #2 pick at DT. I mean W...T...F!!!! Kincade is out injured, and Palmer starts to get the ball more, but he goes out with an injury. Hamlin, Milano, and Samuel are all out. It's completely ridiculous. QB Josh Allen looked shell-shocked in that Falcons game while under so much pressure and hasn't looked that bad since 2019 against the Ravens. Nowhere to go with the ball, and Brady is not utilizing Cook as much as he should. Two superstars on the offense, and Joe Brady allowed his QB to flounder like a fish out of water. I put this last loss on Joe Brady. Anyway, if we look back to 2024, didn't Josh Allen have one of his worst games in week 5 against the Texans? The Bills brought in Amri Cooper, and things changed. Beane might bring in someone, and he might not. In my view, the larger glaring problem is at CB-S. Hairston might come off the injury report, but how long with it take him to get up to speed? That secondary just allowed a washed Diggs to have a field day, and Falcons Drake London 158 yards and a TD, not to mention Bijan Robinson to have 170 yards rushing with most in the first half. While all of you are talking offense, I'm far more concerned about the Buffalo defense, which is near 20th in both points and yards allowed. Defense wins Championships...right? Perhaps Beane/McD are waiting to see how the team recovers from all the freakin injuries. Like I said, I'm far more concerned with the defensive side of the ball. -
The Bills were touted as having an “easy”’schedule and no heavy travel games, plus preseason SB favorites. If they fail to get the 1 seed, and even worse, don’t win the division, then Yes McDermott and staff should be fired.

‘Compensated activist’ says majority of protesters are paid (but its more complicated than that) lol https://www.newsnationnow.com/politics/compensated-activist-majority-protesters-paid/?utm_campaign=NewsNation-trending-now&utm_source=wtnh.com&utm_medium=newsnation-cross-brand protests aimed at opposing his agenda are held by paid actors. One woman, who calls herself a “compensated activist,” told NewsNation it’s more complicated than that. The woman, who went by the pseudonym “Tanya” for this story, says she works with the firm Crowds on Demand, a company that organizes protests. Tanya said she helps recruit paid protesters for events the company has been hired for and works with Crowds on Demand CEO Adam Swart to help organize and coordinate events. “I’m watching, I’m there, I’m making sure everything goes well and everything remains peaceful, and we’re following the rules and making sure everything is up to par. That’s my job,” she said. Imagine your job is to hate and protest the country you live in. lol, losers. -
Bring in Gruden! He did it with the Bucs. Lets gooo!!! 🍺 🤩 Sad reality is, if a move is made it probably wouldn't be until after another failure next season in the new stadium.

This is all horrible stuff. The most you can hope for is this team gets a fire lit under them. Those pass protection stats are pitiful. And it’s not just on them. Allen has not been up to par either. He’s regressing in his 8th year.
