  1. Past hour
  2. i'm concerned that we will have no answer for the speed at wr on kc, and that they will sell out completely to stop cook. if we lose that's the most likely script. i looked back at the box scores of our two games last season. it kinda showed how narrow the margin is between top nfl teams. in the reg season game, we didn't have spencer brown and james cook did jack ish. allen ran the hell out of the ball. our d really frustrated them at times and forced some good stops. coleman was out and it was a pretty sorry batch of wrs. in the playoff game, allen ran a lot but only had so much production (remember the bad call from the reff on the tush push?). the wr's were pretty sorry for us, altho hollins had one miracle bomb TD (34 yards). we failed to convert on 2 4th downs (tush push and the kinkaid drop) and missed two pretty early 2 point conversion attempts (we suck so bad at those). our secondary was raw rookie bishop, ghost of douglas, and kiar elam, taron, and freaking damar. dline had oliver who played nasty, dequan seemed banged up, groot was ok, and just lots of trash otherwise (aj i suppose was ok). in that game we hid james cook and had davis and ty johnson taking snaps on 1st and 2nd down runs. cook had 13 runs, and 3 catches. he was our best player on O, and he was featured in 2 drives and was off the field in the most important plays. kinkaid was hobbled and there was lots of short pathetic passes to wrs, but we did convert more of them than we seem to now. as sorry as that roster was on that day, if cook got 25 touches we win that game. i think we need to keep up the mo on D this sunday, and feature cook and our big people. if kc sells out to stop him, we punish them w passes to backs and tight ends, and allen runs on scrambles. the d we have now should be much better than the trash heap we piled up in kc in the playoffs. our two losses this year, aside from badbabi taking a dump in the first half vs atl (and bernard just sucking so bad) were from idiot turnovers/killed drives, penalties, and simply not passing enough to ends and back or featuring cook. if we go heavy and mix it up, no one has shown an ability to slow it down. miami stopped the run with having like 4 dts on the pitch, but we just chose not to throw it over the fatties. it's there if we want it.
  3. The Bills are going to have to outbid another team, because Shaheed might the only WR on the market if you assume Meyers is on his way to New England. So, get ready. Either this place blows it lid because he goes elsewhere, or it blows its lid because Beane "overpaid." Those are the only two possible outcomes.
  4. Yeah there are a lot of houses and other structures throughout that area that sadly are just not built to withstand any serious type of weather, especially not something historic like this. Those people don't have much but are some of the nicest people you will ever meet.
  5. Your post really built up to a big finish.
  6. 'Everybody eats', is what you call 'marketing', for a so-so product.
  7. Shaheed would fine - would love to see that speed, and hopefully more long balls in the gameplan.
  8. He made an emphasis of the team taking a step back to basics on the bye week. going in to this week he said they're treating this game like it's just the next game - it's not just the next big game because of history, a little more passion. control the emotions and realize the chiefs are coming to town. he said it's just another game. gave respect to the kermit crybaby, the diva travis swift, and the rest. said the ball needs to be in their hands - keep the balls out of the playmakers hands. have to keep the energy and focus on their court. asked about keeping focus with two losses and where we are at... with 1 game right now it is not the end of the season. have to stack games and wins. stay humble ready for the new stadium. entire team sees it and is excited by it. they see it going in, leaving, at lunch, etc. even the first toilet needs respect.
  9. Many years ago we had the worst offensive line in the NFL. Many fans claimed it was the "scheme." Then they hired Mouse McNally a famed OL coach. The line either stayed the same or got worse. What I learned from this is that talent is even more important than scheme.
  10. The Steelers signed MVS didn't they? Maybe they are out on this I'd say a 4th and a 6th for Shaheed is fair ?
  11. and celebrates each run as if he just scored SMH he gets on my nerves with the over the top celebrating he does on pedestrian gains
  12. Take this for what it’s worth:
  13. Bosa almost had 2 sacks in 3 plays versus the Panthers. Got called for tripping. Add in Bosa's 4 forced fumbles and the fact that he has a pretty friendly contract and Bosa is a pretty good deal.
  14. Von was great the first 11 games of 2022, he had 8 sacks in 11 games (including a game he didn't finish the one he got hurt). Made all the more impressive by the fact that he was only playing 55% of the teams defensive snaps (for reference Myles Garrett that year played 75% of his teams defensive snaps). He he stayed healthy he probably would have turned in a All-Pro season in 2022 and still at least been a very good player in 2023. Even in 2024 he wasn't tragic as a situational pass rusher. The Bills in 2025 had to move on they had to eat the dead cap and take the savings they could. The got Bosa a better younger player to fill that stop gap vet and got in Hoecht to also be in the mix past this season while drafting Landon Jackson for longer term considerations. Overall the Bills had to move on. As far as Von's sack totals 4 sacks is solid but are they really him kicking ass or are they coverage sacks? Hard to tell without knowing the context but most Commanders fans seem to think he's OK, kind of like the Bills fans last year, more so he's just a situational pass rusher at this stage of his career.
  15. The D-Line Rotation is a monster that must be constantly fed!
  16. We lost to Seattle? He had three plays from inside the 10 at the end to get us in and couldn't.
  17. T&C

    2025 World Series

What is the cap limit currently at in baseball?
  18. That's not great. Perhaps they should dedicate more resources to shoring up that position.
  19. Floyd got off to a hot start in 2023 but he faded down the stretch. In 2024 in San Fran he had a similar season 8.5 sacks with a lot of sacks is a small stretch of games (5.5 sacks in a 4 game stretch, 3 sacks the other 13 games he played). He's not having much success with 1.5 sacks in 7 games thus far with Atlanta in 2025. In 2023 Floyd had 6.5 sacks in the first 6 games of the season. He then had a 2.5 sack game against the hapless Jets. In the other 10 games he played he had just 1.5 sacks. The last 11 games of the season he had 4 sacks most of which was concentrated against a really bad Jets team. Floyd was also going to be 32 going into the 2024 season so I think moving off of him was probably the right thing to do. You can complain about Beane on other moves but moving off a 32 year old Floyd who faded down the stretch is not one of them.
  20. Is it free market to take a $20B U.S. taxpayer bailout? At least they got the China soybean contract while our farmers got….. So much winning
  21. Hopefully McD and Babich coach them up about the shovel pass to Kelce near the goal line
  22. I am actually starting him in fantasy.
  23. thanks. listening now. i'll give some bullet points if i can slack off work a few minutes.
  24. My difficulty enjoying the wins came from the plethora of idiots each week who actually thought we won because of something Taylor did. That happened: A) whenever we played Miami and B) when we played Seattle That was it.
  25. Wasn't intended to be a gotcha post. I just thought it was an interesting stat and wanted to see what other thought. Wasn't sure if scheme had anything to do with sack numbers.
