  1. Past hour
  2. You couldn’t tell by their jersey numbers last night? LOL
  3. It's especially bad this season, but this has been something I've noticed in McD's defense for a long while now. I wonder to what extent they are coached to make a play on the ball, cuz it seems like even when guys are in position they are thinking "tackle" and not "attack the ball". McDermott always likes the players to keep the play in front of them, so I do think there's something being coached in that regard. But this year our secondary is so slow it's kind of a non-starter since they're nowhere near the play anyway.
  4. It appeared that the Pats just manned up on the WRs last night and blanketed them. That’s not Brady. That’s the garbage WRs issue. Go back and watch tape of the Joe Burrow LSU title team. Obviously their WRs were elite but they were open EVERYWHERE. That’s the same Joe Brady. He was just scheming for Chase and Jefferson instead of Coleman and Palmer.
  5. We might lose 2 more. Pats can lose to Saints, Falcons, Bucs, Jets, Ravens, Giants, Bills and Fins. I say they lose 5 more.
  6. At least two other sources have them at 11 PDs, not 2; I am doubting the accuracy of Erik's claim. They have also faced the 3rd or 4th least amount of passes in the NFL this season.
  7. Should've drafted Xavier Worthy so we had a legit deep threat & some speed. The Bills have no home run weapon on the outside. Josh's deep passing has fallen off a cliff. Saw these stats earlier: 2020 - 2024 Deep Throws: Attempts per Game - 4.3 TD / INT - 41 to 22 Passer Rating - 97.9 2025 Deep Throws: Attempts per Game - 3.0 TD / INT - 0 to 1 Passer Rating - 49.9 Nobody has to fear the Bills stretching the field anymore. DBs aren't concerned we're going over the top & looking for that big play. So if the plan is just run Cook and dink & dunk, we can't have turnovers or commit a ton of penalties. But despite all that, there were guys open underneath. Allen was just off, leaving clean pockets, running into pressure & not seeing the field as well as usual. Hopefully this is a wake-up call, and hopefully we get some defensive reinforcements soon.
  8. Funny how this thread started out about Coleman but was taken over again by the elephant in the room. The defense (or lack of) of McDermy and Babich. Call them at 933-7825 (WEE-SUCK). That's 933-7825.
  9. For some reason Coleman gets all the criticism (and by and large most of it is warranted) but Palmer gets away with his Invisible Man performances. We paid him $10M AAV to be our true outside separator and a legit top 3 option. Instead he's only been on the field for 48% of snaps which means he isn't earning a larger share. He's on pace for 41 catches, 592 yards, and 0 TDs. What happened to all those advanced analytics that told us he was an elite separator and route runner? If he doesn't turn it around soon he'll go down as another disappointing FA signing by Beane, at a position that we just refuse to throw more than the bare minimum amount of resources at.
  10. 1. The outcome of the game 2. Ingram starting over White at CB 3. Send a receiver deep on every play, and maybe even throw one or two deep passes a game, I think teams know we won't.
  11. I swear there are so many games in the McDermott era that we hear if this guy stays here or this guys just plays it this way the result would of been different. Then I'm having to go with it's a coaching problem. If his one job is to stay and contain how could he drop off in coverage... something doesn't smell right with that answer, there is no way a player can go that rogue out there without someone saying do this.
  12. not blaming it all on Keon but we could have had Cooper DeJean instead of reaching Beane's drafts are maddening
  13. https://www.live5news.com/2025/10/06/sled-no-evidence-that-fire-judges-home-was-intentionally-set/ but maga
  14. I know the game pretty well. That said, I had no clue Landon Jackson was even up for the game. So I guess theres that,.
  15. We need CB2 and WR 1 badly. What do you got Beane? Are we winning the Superbowl Beaner? Or is it imperative you make some moves to improve both position groups?
  16. Probably the last thing on my mind about the game. If we can't overcome a 1st half fumble in the red zone against an inferior team, we have no business talking about a Super Bowl. That was probably #20 on the list of reasons why we lost (a.k.a. gave that game away).
  17. Jeremy White was right all along
  18. Good Lord. This is a thread related to a Democrat running for Attorney General of a state who has called for the assassination of an elected official and his kids, and urinating on graves, and expressing pleasure at the parents witnessing the killing. Is there any reasonable human who would not call for him to withdraw? Don't change the subject. They are his words.
  19. This. I didn't hate that he did it, but I thought he should have at least waited until after the first down play to get a better idea of where they were at.
  20. Actually, to play Madden well, you have to read defenses and call audibles and hot routes based on coverages. You also have to shift protection to account for incoming blitzers.
  21. Our GMs drafting is starting to become really infuriating. I mean, if we did not have Allen, it's possible Buffalo would be the worst team in the NFL.
  22. I got that but it gets a little cloudy because McDermott has a defensive background but isn't calling the defense. His job is to look at the game situation and decide when to challenge, use time outs, go for it on 4th down, FG, punt, etc..... In this case I guess he had faith in the players and Babbich to get a stop on 3rd down which they had been pretty good at up to that point in the game. New England had all their time outs left and were going to score regardless if they executed. He was just trying to give the offense a chance to put up points before the half.
  23. Definitely agree with you. Look at the difference Diggs made for the Pats. Without him, the Pats don't move the ball. We have a bunch of 2's and 3's at WR not a number 1 who can make the 2's and 3's effective by drawing coverage while making a big play here and there. Last night revealed it most clearly.
  24. Perfectly said. We'll watch some film.
  25. I do appreciate the assertiveness of wanting the ball to score points again before the half, but you've got to wait until you've got a couple stops. I think if you've got them in a third and mid-to-long then it's a smart move to conserve time there. And even if there's only 30 seconds left on the clock, if you've got two timeouts left in your pocket cuz you burned only one and THEN got the third down stop? You're good at that point. Yeah that's the way a smart coach would play it.
  26. A coach can either: Coach to his players and talent Coach his players and his talent McDermott is doing square pegs to round holes and expecting triangles. @Coach Tuesdaysaid it "The entire offensive structure is designed to protect the defense from having to be on the field. The entire draft and free agent approach is designed to protect the defense." This defense isn't getting the results it need time and time again. So a coach calls a big risk blitz on a guy who has broke contain all night?
