  1. Past hour
  2. Also makes it easier since he doesnt have to remember to report as eligible. LOOKING AT YOU, ANDERSON Ha! I shouldve scrolled farther.
  3. yup lacking another gear is how i usually describe him
  4. and Orlando is supposedly a teacher and psychological counselor. btw, what happened to "Doc"?
  5. Well written, as I was going to write a similar response. Either people are too young or have short memories, our team was horrible during the Kelly SB era in the pre-season. Levy was smart enough to know PS is just an evaluation with zero game planning. The Ravens for the longest time had an undefeated PS, but can’t seem to win a playoff game. We’ve had a number of playoff wins, and the PS doesn’t matter. So relax, and enjoy this team coming together. We’ll be fine. Are the same people griping when we win 13-14 games this season?
  6. To me, our defense didn't look any bit different than last year. I know it's the first preseason game and we shouldn't make assessments based on one game. while I agree, there's still some of the same things we've all seen and discussed: soft cushions; can't get off the field on 3rd downs; can't get to the QB. I'm not getting ready to mash the panic button. But until I see hints of anything different, I'll be expecting a rinse and repeat defense this year.
  7. I'm a McDoubter as well, but slightly disagree here. I think both/either would take the Saints to the playoffs in that Division. The best saying I've read about McDermott is "He's the type of coach that can take a 4-13 team to the Wild Card round. And also the type of coach that will take a 14-3 team to the Wild Card round" He'd do very well in current situations like New Orleans or Carolina. With "very well" being relative. But would likely disappoint in KC, Philly, Detroit...
  8. I have no doubt. Exactly why I'm not touching the stuff. I don't have the financial liquidity to weather that storm.
  9. People remember White from the game where the Bills D beat him up and he was truly a gamer. But his body of work is not too good. Unless you like a lot more INT's than TD's. Trubisky has led two teams the playoffs. I think White has a chance but he has to be really convincing is how I look at it. And I dont think they will worry that much about 1.2 million. They need to create space for practice squad and in season replacement guys which they can do with some restructures....you should keep the backup you think is the right move for the team not 0.4% of the cap.
  10. This will have added bonus of us not having to take as many penalties for OL not reporting eligible 😆
  11. I hate drugs and the cartels, but domestic guerrilla attacks is my bet. The island is big. It’s gonna take time for that communication.
  12. Knox is a good blocker from all the metrics and pundits analysis but I think he's also a solid pass catcher so I do wonder if the Bills are considering a lot of 3 TE sets with Knox/Hawes in blocking roles and Kincaid in the slot or split wide even? I love seeing Brady adding wrinkles and not trying to stay complacent.
  13. you'll definitely like it lol everybody likes cocaine
  14. Tariffs are going to hit especially hard for you when the price of tin foil spikes. Your hats are gonna get a lot more expensive. Given your inability to distinguish between your bunghole and your armpit this is no surprise.
  15. I find it interesting most responses in this thread pertain to everyone’s opinion of McDermott. What’s not being talked about and what matters most is what is Terry Pegula’s thinking on the matter. Hence the stadium discussion. The WGR hosts are probably right to point out that the new stadium does give McDermott extra time. Terry is going to be basking in the glow of his shiny new toy, likely distracting him from scrutinizing his employees.
  16. A long time criticism I've had of Trump are is crude, nonpresidential, words and tweets. Dems must have decided that this demeanor was his path to winning and have adopted it, and even double downed using it. Holy Cow!!!
  17. get to play a lot of low seeds in the playoffs if you're never the 1 seed
  18. I absolutely think that there will be a reduction in 6OL this year, with Hawes replacing the 6th O-lineman on those plays, and presenting at least the threat/possibility of being a pass catcher. I also think Kincaid and Knox are primarily pass catchers and that it just didn't make sense to have their third TE be primarily a pass catcher as well (a la Quintin Morris). If your top two guys aren't excellent blockers and you like to roster 3 TEs, it just makes sense for your TE3 to be a hoss in the blocking game.
  19. Man, #63 Jake Kubas got abused repeatedly. Just checked on him. He is their 3rd string RG. Their 2nd stringer, Evan Neal, was did not play.
  20. Once we penetrate borders with military force, like Apaches gunning transports on Mexican highways, or special forces doing stuff outside our geography, we'll see what happens.
  21. Schottenheimer never played against #7 seeds in the playoffs. If you look at McDermott’s record against non-#7 seeds, it's 3-7; a .300 winning percentage. Yes, Josh would have kept Bowles or Jackson employed, especially if they were competing in this division. If you put McDermott on this year's Saints, they wouldn't make the playoffs. If Josh were their quarterback, they would at least clinch a wild card.
  22. Go for a walk, touch the grass, get some ice cream... it will be OK
  23. When I look at Sean McDermott I see a guy who cares passionately about his job, has fully embraced WNY and Buffalo, respects and honors the responsibility he has been given, and works tirelessly to change and improve himself along the way. Aside from a b.s. hack job by a reporter the season after "13 seconds," there has been absolutely no evidence that players don't believe he is putting them in the best position to thrive and become the "best versions of themselves." There is also no evidence that the Bills will suddenly fall off a cliff and cease to be one of the elite teams in the NFL. I was frustrated with McDermott a couple of seasons ago when I feared perhaps he was "losing the room" but my fears were quickly assuaged once I heard the way players talk about him. It is inconceivable to me that anyone believes McD will ever be on a "hot seat" in Buffalo if he continues doing what he has been doing.
  24. That’s an outstanding rep for a rookie and is just what McD wants out of players.
