  1. Past hour
  2. I'd like to add: The guy you really like and want to sneak through to the practice squad but are so certain that some other team will claim off waivers before you can? He'll likely clear waivers and make it to the practice squad. Fans tend to think much more highly of bottom-of-roster players for their favorite teams than other teams do. Other teams, meanwhile, have their OWN roster cuts to make, and likely aren't nearly as enamored with the UDFA CB out of Valdosta State as you are.
  3. At 8% interest the interest only payments would be around 700 a year, or $60 a month. This person is complaining because they paid less that $75 a month for at least 5 years and the amount did not drop. The only issue here is that some is dumb enough to think the minimum gets them to success
  4. https://www.buffalobills.com/video/curtis-samuel-s-12-yard-touchdown-reception-gives-bills-nine-point-lead-bills-vs-chiefs 4.31 speed. He is great friends with Josh and Brady loves him. That’s Curtis beating Surtain, and Curtis 2 Playoff TDs
  5. What, if anything, should we read into the lack of information around Tre White's injury? It's almost like a Sabre's injury report - "lower body injury" . . . .
  6. There might have been things I missed But don't be unkind It don't mean I'm blind Perhaps there's a thing or two I think of lying in bed I shouldn't have said But there it is You see it's all clear You were meant to be here From the beginning
  7. No one? I think a lot of people get it all too well, and they come here to get away from all that. I have no problem with anyone voicing that, but I was hoping the thread wouldn’t go that way. Football is entertainment to me. It’s a diversion from how hard life can be. I won’t freak out if we lose week #1 to the Ravens. They are a very good team, and a season is a lifetime.
  8. I deserve that, I mean that Josh and Trubisky are on the same page and since Josh does not get hurt why rock the boat
  9. In the grand scheme of things, they are in great shape......injuries are 100% going to happen. When you look at who and the significance of most of them they are quite healthy. Having said that, CB2 is an issue.......but what teams dont have something going on?
  10. I was being sarcastic, sorry if it didn’t land.
  11. I think he could be a mentor to Walker. Similar styles. For 6 weeks before Ogunjobi they are not rolling with 2 rookies and Carter as the reserve DT. I think Carter is in a tough spot. Phillips was the better player last year. I dont think Carter has shown anything to change that. Maybe trade him for a young Db or a 4th or 5th rd pick.
  12. That’s obscure, nothing like a profound quote from a guy who pretends for a living.
  13. it was from the 80's. it's not perfect but i remember hearing it close enough. wrestler was talking about real struggles in life
  14. I don't recall JP LostMan coming back to the team four times.... Phillips is 32, not 42.
  15. Maybe. I think you let him be Godzilla for 10-15 plays a game. Good or bad create havoc inside. If he gets beat up by a double team at least he held up the other lineman from making the second level. Im not sure he needs to do more than that. Be a real ass kicker. Keep him fresh to unleash on interior olines. I think Sanders has a shot to be very good and sooner than later replace Daquan Jones. Immediately on passing downs with Sanders and Oliver with Rousseau and Bosa is the best 4 Buffalo has had in a long time.
  16. Your point stands but I don't see why bringing Sanders or Walker into it yet makes sense. They're rookies, and from everything I've seen/read, they look like really promising players. The crux of the issue is we whiffed on Carter and got lied to by Ogunjobi, which is why we're in this spot. Also, McBeane usually only carry one traditional 1T on the active roster, so calling everyone who isn't that a 3T isn't correct within the context of their system (i.e. Phillips and Walker will be used as rushers from the 1T spot on passing downs). Again, I like how they handled the Phillips signing as it gave them a chance to evaluate Carter, Sanders, and Walker. I suspect they had Phillips ready to go the whole time. He's a useful piece. If we need to do this again next year, then you'll have better grounds to make the point you're trying to make.
  17. Plus, he knows how to dress for the weather. Some strengths are undervalued. 🎵Big guy in a little coat🎶
  18. My last bloodwork showed my PSA is normal.
  19. Who could get traded instead of cut/waived/released? OL - Lundt, Van Denmark DL - Carter WR - Moore, Samuel TE - Davidson RB - Gore
  20. Yeah, it's a lot of Cap Magic. His 2025 salary became fully guaranteed (it wasnt previously). Then a $9M signing bonus paid immediately. Then the rest of it is in guarantee conversions as he's still on the team... $15.28M guaranteed at sign (signing bonus + 2025 salary + $5M of 2026 salary) Additional $4.41M of 2026 salary fully guarantees 2/9/2026 (injury guaranteed at sign) $6.22M of 2027 salary fully guarantees the 5th league day of 2026 (injury guaranteed at sign) Additional $2.91M of 2027 salary fully guarantees the 5th league day of 2027 (injury guaranteed at sign) $1.18M of 2028 salary injury guaranteed only 2026 Option Bonus: $7.4M 2026-29 Per Game Active Bonus: $20,000 ($340,000)
  21. I’d be very surprised if Moore didn’t make the 53.
  22. Not when he is on the field but the guy is hardly ever available. As a performer for the Bills he has been a bum. How long have we been saying that? We can't bank on hope
  23. Somebody needs too call Beane and let him know.
  24. That makes sense as you'd want to allocate your scouts to find the best possible talent in the country. Small or big college programs. I just think it's easier to recruit and sign unrestricted free agents if they play college football 18 miles away.
  25. Nothing you said is untrue. I just think it's a bad look to spend 2nd, 3rd, and 4th round picks on 3Ts over the course of two drafts, sign another in free agency for decent money, then STILL wind up having to bring a Jordan Phillips back right before the season. You'd hope that with the draft capital and free agency dollars spent and with Oliver Sanders Walker Carter Ogunjobi ....all of whom are entirely or primarily 3Ts (regardless of where the coaching staff is trying to force them to play)... The Bills wouldn't need to pull the Jordan Phillips lever again. But here we are.
