  1. Past hour
  2. I liked the part where Cook got the slow clap after he walked on the practice field after signing his contract.
  3. You are correct, I misremembered what he said. However, being the most challenging position to learn doesn't give me a lot of warm fuzzies that it's going to be fixed soon. Bishop has missed so much off-season time in his first two years that it has to have stunted his development. They brought in Forrest and he's apparently lost. They drafted Hancock and McDermott has already said they are trying not to overload him. Even if they brought in Simmons (which I don't think they will), how quickly can he pick up what they are trying to do? That doesn't concern you tremendously?
  4. Legend is somebody hit it with a '74 LTD. They mounted the head and ate the rest.
  5. I say yes cut em and take a flyer on graham mertz who was drafted by Houston who has established starter and back up. Stat line looked decent and he seemed a bit of a gamer too. If he gets along with Josh that would be my move. Why didn’t they draft the kid? Other needs and they wanted to see the Mitch and Mike white battle. I believe they have wanted to move on from trubisky all offseason and might realize now that Mike white ain’t the answer. how this works for the season is a bit tricky but can be managed. Maybe the flyer ain’t ready to get you through two games. Have a vet on the PS (gonna want them in the room anyway) and then call them up twice. Could also start the flyer and if he doesn’t work out after a game or two then call up the vet. If Josh is out more than 5 games you might consider tanking the season anyway. that’s my thesis and suggestion for how to do it after you get him on cut down day.
  6. For the same reason they drafted Max Hairston... somewhere along the way over the last two years the Bills realized that they needed better and faster athletes on defense. Yes, the best case scenario. At this point there's a lot of wishing and hoping. No surprise here... they don't really have many options. Plan A is to try to light a fire under Bishop's ass. They're hoping that they don't have to resort to plan B. I don't think it's bizarre at all. It has been commented on numerous times how much more honest and less coddling McDermott has been this year. It looks to me like he's made the decision to not insulate players from criticism but rather allow them to feel the pressure to perform that all pros should feel. A 2nd round pick who's falling short of expectations should feel pressure. At this level and at these stakes, if a person can't handle pressure then they're not going to succeed. Coaches should be setting expectations and standards, not protecting players who are underperforming. As I said in another thread, Parcells and Coughlin were a-holes most of the time. And they each won 2 Super Bowls.
  7. Today
  8. No its oil is in addition to the uniqueness of its population. It ain’t the 3rd world.
  9. They aren't sitting in zone. They are playing a ton of man coverage and blitzing a lot. You "soft zone" complainers don't even know what you are looking at.
  10. The tenures of those who wore it are noticably short until Josh. To a surprising extent.
  11. This league had its chance. It chose LGBTQPLUS activism over merit, skill, and entertainment.
  12. Good. Let it be a big nothingburger as far as I'm concerned.
  13. Diggs was very good at finding spots to “sit in”. Fantastic route runner. Worked phenomenally early on, but against top tier defenses, he struggled to excel.
  14. I'm dumbfounded by the whole discussion. We have no idea what we have w/ Bishop yet. McDermott is doing his thing & trying to motivate, and I think he's trying in his own way to acknowledge the concern that the fanbase has about the position.
  15. I don’t think it’s for lack of trying; he’s simply not good enough. Effort only gets you so far.
  16. Absolutely. The odds of Josh getting injured the first few games are very slim. That would give whatever replacement time to learn the offense.
  17. If Bishop is smart, he will use this as motivation to get his *** into gear. This is your dream. Idk. I remember when Donald Jones won the Bills #1 WR spot at one point. That was the most pathetic position battle I’ve ever seen.
  18. Can you imagine this place if we lose week 1 like they did week 4 last year?
  19. Actually only 20 yards a game more and I’d like to think having Josh Allen would’ve made up that little 20 yard difference. It’s really impossible to prove who is better. Like I said I have a preference for bigger possession WRs. I saw both in their prime and I just love the tenacity Moulds played with. He was a physical freak
  20. But that was with Dorsey. By week 12 of 2022 everything was a mess on offense. Brady - even the chemistry with Diggs was off. Everyone was adjusting so I’m not going to just say Davis was THE problem. I think if they keep 6 WRs Gabe is the guy that brings something to the table only Keon has and that’s blocking. All the other guys are the same. Don’t hate the idea really. Could also PS Gabe. He plays when Samuel misses inevitable time. Coleman, Davis Shakir, Samuel Palmer, Moore, Shavers
  21. I like the D coach mentioning Josh has be on the field in 3 downs or less, our 3rd down defense was atrocious last year.
  22. You could tell Josh wanted to win that so bad
  23. That's me every time I see a highlight of the Norwood kick. McDermott is pretty milquetoast and not a very inspiring speaker, but it hasn't seemed to matter before. I think that element of coaching might be overrated at the professional level.
  24. I’m gonna say yes. Cut the QBs, the safeties and Tre. No need to field a full team if they’re all just gonna suck. Oh yeah get rid of the coach too, we’ll just wing it from here. Anyone is better than what we have, even if his name is nobody. Great ideas! 😞
