The bolded parts are why I always struggle with promoting from within for the OC spot. Now, I fully admit we don't know what we don't know. But to me, Kromer, Boras, Curry, Mangas..all of em along with Brady are part of the same offensive room. Now, like you said, if these guys are coming up with ideas and being dismissed, we have no way of knowing. But if they are collectively collaborating and coming up with nothing, how can it be justified that any of them should get the promotion? Again, we don't know if Brady is being arrogant and dismissive of any ideas or if they are a room full of bumbling idiots. It's the same reason I didn't like Brady being promoted without a real OC search in the first place. He was part of Dorsey's "support staff" and couldn't help fix the issues we saw when Kenny was here tossing tablets. Why did anybody think he would be so much better?

While it might actually fit this generation - I'll let others judge - playing it for a football game is crazy. American Pie was an anthem for my generation. It is by every metric a vastly superior song to Mr. Brightside. We would gather with arms around each other and sing it in a circle on the dance floor. It meant something to us in a way that was undefined and went far beyond the actual words of the song. The next time Elijah Moore is a positive for a team's offense it will be the first time in his NFL career. He has a CAREER 65.7 passer rating when targeted and was probably the worst receiver in the NFL to get regular snaps in 2024. There is a real chance he would have at least started the season on a practice squad this season if the Bills hadn't thrown him a lifeline. Allen ever trusting Moore was a stretch. Additionally, it doesn't take much research to see that in Brady's first season as an NFL OC in Carolina he had two 1,000+ yard receivers plus an 800+ yard Curtis Samuel. None of which were superstars. This coming off having the greatest passing offense in the history of college football. But not running the ball enough was cited in his firing in Carolina. I think people need to consider the fact that he is running what Josh Allen and McDermott want. A simple system. Which would probably work in spite of perceived predictability if the talent was right. Moore wasn't ever going to move the needle for this team but some of you just can't get over his draft pedigree.

He’s been terrible since coming back from his injury. No idea if it’s something he can heal up as time passes or if it’s just something that will affect him until after the season. I mean.. he has to be dealing with something, yes? He’s not running very effectively (for him), he’s getting hit square up when he usually can avoid most of those and he looks back to 2023 Lamar where if you make him become a pocket passer.. he struggles.

Did my fair share of 3:00 a.m. rise and shines on Black Fridays in the ‘90’s for our boys. Usually for video games. Never saw or had an encounter, never did not get what I sought. I did it as a teen for concert tickets, almost always sat floor or Golds seats at “The Aud”.

Would be nice if Eagles are somehow locked in (or mostly locked in) at the 2 seed by week 17 @ Bills. I think that could happen with the right sequence of Philly wins/losses (and other teams). Someone smarter than me can figure out what that sequence is... but I think we'd want Philly to win today to have a firm seeding advantage over Chi. Then Philly needs one+ more loss than LAR over the next 3 so that catching them is not possible (Philly owns the tie-breaker over LAR)

Thanksgiving Day Massacre We went to friend’s house for dinner, they do a huge Thanksgiving, 50-60 people. After dinner we were watching the Cowboys Chiefs, some random guy was going on and on about the Chiefs and Ravens, how both were on a roll. How great Mahomes is, on and on. I pretty much ignored him, when that game ended, I looked at him and said “time for dessert”.
