There was once an inexperienced team out west with a future HOF QB that relied on 3 rookies in the secondary to win the SB.

For the life of me I could never figure out why people are so absorbed in being the first ones on the road. You just spent about 3 hours in the stadium... what's another 45 minutes in the parking lot gonna matter? Light the grill and have a pop or two... it gives you a chance to chill out a little and watch all the lunatics road raging in the lots just to get to the road a half of a minute before the other guy. RELAX people! You're supposed to be having a good time at the game... right? When you leave your place on the way to the game just plan on being there another 45 minutes or so for a brief "after the game cookout". While you're busy munching & guzzling you couldn't care less how fast the cars are moving!

LOL...I was just showing you what you're doing. The thing is, you're looking at this in a vacuum. What juggernaut NFC team did Payton have to battle every year? A team that has done what the Chiefs have done. Patrick Mahomes has played in now 7 AFC Championships and 5 Super Bowls in his 8 years as starting QB. No one has ever had this type of run before and this is the team that has knocked us out 4 times. If we played in the NFC or if the Chiefs were in the NFC, Bills would have had Super Bowl appearances. But it's not the case because KC is in our conference and a hill we haven't overcome. What NFC juggernaut in Payton's time kept him from more Super Bowls? McDermott's hill is much harder to climb than Payton's ever was. All the best QB's are in the AFC (Mahomes, Allen, Burrow, Jackson)....that's a gauntlet. That's what makes what Mahomes has done even more impressive. There was I believe 13-14 different starting QB's representing the NFC Super Bowl during Payton's run in New Orleans. It was a wide open NFC and he missed the playoffs 7 times in that stretch.

If we are relying on rookies to be difference makers, then we are already cooked.

Nah. I think he's stump-simple. He's a narcissist with a big ego. He legit thought he "made" Josh as a QB and that he was right and Josh was wrong on every miscue. Diggs was going to play with Stroud and put up just as big or bigger numbers, while Josh with a rag-tag receiver corps and a new OC would falter. That's behind his "You sure?" response to a tweet about Josh not needing Diggs Now that Josh won League MVP and the answer to "You sure?" was unambiguously "Yep" while injured Diggs missed half the season, it's in Digg's self interest to promote his successful years with Josh to say "hey, I played with the guy who was last year's league MVP and put up big numbers year after year, Pick Me!"

Shakir being "a dawg" is a measure of feels not proof that he is going to be a huge producer. He is a very good slot-only receiver. I assume he will be good for 800-900 yards again if he can continue to withstand the punishment he takes. 900 is not a lot for a team's top target though and anything more than 900 is more than he has done so there would be uncertainty that. The Bills passing game production last year was pretty low. Regarding Coleman/Worthy.......like I said, the way you judge hyped rookie WR is how they progress in year one. Very often, the stars take off in the second half of the season. Worthy did very little the first 9 games and then averaged 56 per game from then on. That's a 950 yard pace and he averaged 95 in his 3 playoff games. He was trending as expected. Coleman's season was trending up around mid-season but he finished VERY poorly. If you want to talk about "less uncertainty" then you talk facts not feels. The 2024 Bills were 17th in passing yards. The 2023 Bills were 10th. 2022 they were 9th but only played 16 games due to the Damar game. 2020 they were 3rd. Say what you want about the offense but the passing game has been trending the wrong way for quite a while as the WR corps has declined. The offense has remained productive statistically but at the end of the season when they've needed guys to make plays in big games.......like an AFCCG or SB where Worthy went off.........the Bills haven't had that guy and Allen has been left to play hero ball and fall short.

17-0

Definitely a good chance that that game is meaningless for at least one of Buffalo or Philly
-
That was my thought is they flex it. if you look at a lot of the 4:25 games in the back half they are all very possible to be flex'd if needed.

This would suck

Outside of all the stats and advance metrics, I'm just not seeing Kincaid as a dangerous weapon in our passing game. Hopefully that changes. But as of right now... He hasn't been a threat in the red zone. He hasn't been a threat downfield. He hasn't been a reliable target on third down. He hasn't been a producer of YAC on short passes. Ignore his drops. Give him a pass because of the injury. Show me that many of his passes were uncatchable. I'm still not seeing a guy that puts fear into the opposing defense. Even if he's not on a Pro Bowl level, Dawson Knox has proven to be superior in all of the above areas. Even though he's had some drop problems himself, Knox has also made some spectacular catches. He's a decent red zone threat, and can make plays downfield. And he's shown the ability to run people over to get extra yards after the catch. Kincaid has shown virtually nothing so far that we couldn't get out of a typical Day 2-3 pick.

He hates brown people. Obviously.

Across the entire NFL, it's just bad and lazy technique. Guys trying to show they can knock a guy over with barely trying. "I'm so strong I can just throw a shoulder into him and put him down". What they are really doing is being lazy and frankly playing scared of injuring their shoulder. But if they used proper technique, no one would get hurt and the hits would still look big (likely even bigger).

Luckily it’s a rare occurrence in dating.. at least down here in the South. She’s the first time I’ve ever encountered that. And I agree that politics are important beyond a hook up. I could never settle down with someone like that and vice-versa.
-
I doubt it also but it's still a possibility.
-
I doubt it. Even if both teams have their respective divisions won, they probably will still need to win games to get the #1 seed.

What in the world happened to this guy? Out of nowhere he’s talking like Trump on steroids. This is now multiple days of ultra-nationalistic posting.

Nice narrative, but people on this board who do have some sources say that the 2022 season problems started well before the Hamlin game. If you search, you can find here. Things that have been heard are: -Stef would go after Josh for his perceived mistakes after practices and games to the point where it made the rest of the WR room uncomfortable, and Josh finally had enough and stopped taking it. At one point during that fall, Josh and Diggs relationship was so bad they were reportedly barely talking to one another. -Keep in mind that Josh tore his UCL in the '22 Week 9 Jets game and the initial assessment going around was that he would miss at least as many games as he missed his rookie season (4). Palmer said after the season that it was a worse tear than 2018 where Josh missed 4 games. There's a Marino podcast talking about how it impacted the Bills passing game. Josh was listed as "limited" in a number of practices and there are reports he was limited in throwing (or not throwing) for weeks. -It was said that Diggs was late for meetings and the team gave him a parking spot by the entrance and other special handling to try to keep him in line -Also said that Diggs pulled some stunts that "hurt the team". As far as "Josh played poorly" vs Cinncinnati, please keep in mind that the whole team played poorly - starting with our defense, which looked as though they were on skates. Specifically, Diggs was targeted 10 times and had 4 receptions for 35 yds. While some of were off-target, others of them looked to be catchable balls. There were also balls where it was pretty clear Allen and Diggs weren't on the same page.

My thought is the game could end up being a throw away game for both teams that late in the season. EDIT: Unrelated to previous response...
-
Of course they do
-
Eagles/Bills week 17 game could end up replacing the Giants or Raiders on SNF that week

I love it. Probably the game I’ll go to

Super Bowl preview 4 weeks before the Super Bowl??!?!?!?

I mean i don't think rapp is specifically headhunting anyone. There's a fine line/edge to it, and both players waffle over that edge from time to time.
