    Gala or Gayla

OK, I mentioned the UnGala Gala above, so I’ll try to add something interesting. It’s a huge black tie event at the Ringling Art Museum, a grand setting for a big ass party. I went to the bathroom, then to the bar on the terrace level. I got separated from my wife but I pull up to the railing to look down on the band and the dance floor. I thought I’d found my wife when a soft hand comes from behind me as I lean on the railing. I was enjoying it for a millisecond until I looked down and saw my wife on the dance floor. I was so startled I jumped up, and by the time I turned around I couldn’t figure out which gown behind me to thank. I’m not sure if it was a nice hello, or “DAMN! Wrong guy with dark hair in a tux! They all look the same from behind!”
  3. Nobody. Just having some fun at the expense of 4th who is an admitted homophobe. Otherwise, good post!
  4. While true, most tight ends also take time to develop though they only get to a decent starter quality. Not a premium starter quality. Kelce, for example, took time to develop and was/is over hyped for a tight end. He can't block and his window was small. Gronk at least blocked in his window and didn't go down in flames like Kelce will holding on to any like light.
  5. I wonder if she will continue to bill herself as Hailee Steinfeld in movies or if she'll now be billed as Hailee Steinfeld-Allen?
  6. There's a baseball acronym, TINSTAAPP. There is no such thing as a pitching prospect. In football, TINSTAATEP. There is no such thing as a Tight End prospect.
  7. Its interesting how a lot of these physical specimen-type WRs either bust out or underperform in the pros. There truly is an art to route-running, getting open, and playing fast (as opposed to running fast).
  8. Pitts for Kincaid straight up.
  9. McD has fired 3 ST coordinators since 2018. Tabor has been out of the league since end of 2023. Carolina ST stunk that year. Not much better the year before. He's been fired by the Browns, the Bears and Panthers. All 3 teams seem like they sure could use a really good coordinator... As the OP shows, his OC is a guy he knew--on staff already. DC Babich is a guy he knew, on staff for years. He's not looking far....
  10. He ran a 4.4 at 6’6” 246? Didn’t realize he was that big and fast, he should be dominating. Do think it’ll take more than a 3rd like this article speculates.
  11. The hype was super high, and he looked like a freak to me coming out. I live right here in Atlanta, so since he doesn’t play for UGA I don’t hear much about him. I’m like a bird watcher when I have a rare Falcons gear sighting.
  12. I completely agree. That's why I said generational welfare dependency is a much more nuanced conversation that you articulated in the last paragraph rather than just the blanket statement of "if you're on SNAP then you're doing something wrong" just seemed cold and incorrect. The only good argument I've heard for raising the federal minimum wage is it prevents larger corporations from reaping the benefits of taxpayers subsidizing them in states where the federal minimum wage is also the state's minimum wage.
  13. It's Gal-a
  14. Whos a good girl, she's a good girl !!!!!
  15. So, I guess me being white and straight doesn’t give me two months out of the year to celebrate each of those facts? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
  16. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/nfl/article-14769723/Atlanta-Falcons-star-Kyle-Pitts-trade-NFL.html I attribute some of his failure to meet expectations to mediocre QB play
  17. Good eye! It also looks like Terry Pegula sitting next to Beane and Shakir sitting in McDermott’s row.
  18. Gone Good riddance I'm gone Gone in a wasted way Wasted my way I'm gone
  19. If he's not it will be a chance for Mitch to steal the QB1 spot...... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
  20. I sort of figured this out without saying as much. I capitulated last time this fool was in office. Then I bought back in, and probably cost myself in the process. Now, I just stay the course. At this point nothing this clown says is of any consequence, so if I ignore it while others react to it I'll come out ahead. The only thing that comment says is that you're a loser. Who friggin cares who someone else loves. Frankly I'd be surprised if anyone loved you. But if they do, then good for both of you. I don't care if you're into a dude, a chick, a furry, whatever. Find joy and leave everyone else alone.
  21. I would expect him to be there. Will he be there the entire time? I would guess so, but maybe he misses some time. They are both professionals and I'm sure they both know that work has to come first at times. But it is OTAs as well. Not really a big deal if he misses some.
  22. he just needs to bulk up, no?
  23. Now that I'm home again, things sure much better Biding my time with my little go-getter No matter what they say, no matter what they do Gonna end up in the middle of that rock 'n' roll stew And I'll be gone, gone, gone I don't care 'Cause I'm gone, gone, gone I don't care, it's where I'm from I'm on the road again
  24. Here is what PFF said about Shakir: Shakir has been a stable contributor for the Bills’ receiving corps over the past two seasons, and he stepped up significantly in 2024 in Stefon Diggs‘ absence, leading the team in targets (115), receiving yards (995), PFF receiving grade (80.1) and yards per route run (2.20). Shakir placed in the top 25 for the position in all of those categories. He has also been one of the most effective receivers with the ball in his hands, averaging 7.7 yards after the catch per reception since 2023, which is tied for the sixth-best mark among wide receivers.
