He was addition by subtraction, as a "#2".... I pillaged dude here for years. HOWEVER, if his market is as expected (not hot), i would be open to him coming back as a personnel/situational chess piece. His hands absolutely suck, but hes a deep ball trick pony (At least was before his injury this year, what was it again?). That could've been helpful as a depth and situational type player. Games where he doesnt see the field, and games where he sees a decent amount of snaps on the outside. Poo-poo me all you want, but he couldve been a helpful piece last season in AFCCG vs Chiefs, even as a decoy/field opener

It's a cult. It's pure worship. You idiots would be foaming at the mouth if Biden spoke about how he isnt sure if hes supposed to uphold the constitution. You morons are also dont have intellectual integrity. All I hear from trumpers when you question him is either I have TDS or Biden did this! So yeah. You all are morons. America is now a dumb ***** country. Enjoy the mess.

When we try and determine the impact of Allen and the general talent level of the Bills receiving core the case study should be on Gabe Davis. Davis was our #2 leading WR in 2022 and 2023 only behind Diggs. Similar WR room as we see today. Sure, Shakir broke out a bit more, but Kincaid, Knox, then 2-3 Jamison Crowder, Mac Hollins, Trent Sherfield types. Maybe Samuel and Palmer are a step up from those players, but not multiple steps up. The mold is basically a journeyman type or guy who never broke out. We have signed so many of these players over the last few years and none hit production levels that Gabe did in his time here. So would Gabe come in here and be competitive for the number #2 spot almost right away? I think he would, and that's all you really need to know about how strong the group is we have. A guy Jacksonville doesn't even want is good enough to be our #2.

Ideally this peters out like the Israel/Iran did last year.

Woah this seems overly hostile. I’m not even a big Gabe Davis fan. I think he’s a streaky boom or bust boundary player with questionable hands. if he was a superstar in the making, I don’t think he would have been cut today. I just don’t think he’s immediately WR6 on this roster either. We forget he was good enough for WR2-4 here for his career. Have we gotten that much better with Josh Palmer and Shakir that he has no value, even when he had value behind Diggs, Beasley and John Brown/Sanders?

Trump voter remorse.

Maybe you should focus on acquiring a valuable skill so you don’t need to compete against Asians making peanuts. There is no 80/20 issue when the president says he doesn’t know if he must follow the constitution. The 50.2% of voters who didn’t vote for trump aren’t likely to support him after that. Just so you know, 50.2 % is a majority and is more than 20% -
If you're bringing him back to be a Starter and paying him a bag, absolutely not. Terrible idea. If you're bringing him back as a Blocking WR who's your 5th option on a cheap deal (possibly minimum since he's being paid by Jacksonville) and isn't forced the ball to unless he's open - I don't see an issue with bringing him to Camp. Considering we paid Josh Palmer a relatively decent sized long term bag and invested pick 33 into Keon Coleman combined with our cap situation, if we brought him in the first scenario isn't really an option for him. But right now, our 5th WR is basically being handed to Elijah Moore (unless you consider Tyrell Shavers, Kaden Prather, Laviska Shenault, etc. as legitimate competition). And there's questions on his fit in the locker room and his skills and his contract is probably one that doesn't have much guaranteed money that would preclude us from moving on from him. I don't think it's crazy to think Gabe could make him expendable or at the very least really push him to earn that spot. Ultimately, it comes down to Josh for me. If Josh wants him, who are we to say "no you can't have him"? If Josh doesn't care or doesn't want him, then don't bother. But even if it's a move Josh is pulling for, I think it would also come down to Gabe. Does he want to come back for a reserve spot duty role that is guaranteed nothing and is paid little? Regardless of what posters say of him in this thread, it's likely he has a better opportunity elsewhere.

What is your favorite totally random Bills game?

Took my son to his 1st game here. It was Lawrence Taylor vs the Bills and LT nearly won it. Todd Scholpy rules forever in Bills lore. -
I agree with this. And it drives me nuts that it's true.

Enjoy watching the Warriors play defensive basketball and their offensive passing game as I dislike the isolation game. Kerr is a great coach, too. But it’s going to be difficult for them with Steph out at least a week.

Believe me there is. Brandon Beane loves him. If he comes back that is a 100% Beane decision.
-
Gabe reminds me of a few board members—had his moment, especially against KC, but it’s starting to feel like a high school athlete who peaked once. Time for our WR room to mature and move forward.

For the 1st time in forever, it’s cheaper to go to a bar! Wings, pitchers, shots and Lyft . 🤷♂️

He had 4 games with zero catches.

For me it got to the point that by noon on Sundays I’d get a sick feeling in my gut about work the next day. I didn’t tell anybody, but I used my weekends for what felt like forever to drive an hour each way, Saturdays and Sundays, to get a license I needed to get out of banking and change industries. I went on the have the happiest 13 years of my working life. Yes, there were some sacrifices, but it was awesome! My wife was getting nearly that sick of her work conditions and planned to retire in 13 months when she hit retirement age because conditions were so bad. Everybody wanted out, but if you quit you lose all kinds of retirement benefits. Conditions are so bad because everybody is nervous about cutbacks and being able to do the work without support. God is good, and her position was eliminated so they will pay her NOT to work much of that time and she is stress free. .

Listen Gabe, you were a good dude but it’s over. Josh got you your bag, go enjoy it. We both know if you sign here, you are going to drop your first important pass then roll that glass ankle you have and gimp around for 16 weeks. Thanks for the KC memories
