I've got one of my entries alive in a pool that started at 817 and is currently at 121. My picks so far: Denver LA Rams Seattle Buffalo Detroit Green Bay Kansas City Indianapolis I think the Pats*** would be a solid pick this week (at home vs. Atlanta) but I have a strange feeling they are about to lay an egg, and of course if I pick them they'll do just that. So...I'm going with the Chargers at Tennessee. I don't love taking road teams but the Titans are awful.

Which in his case, he could against trading value picks for a receiver. He thinks you can put anyone at WR.

It was quite the eye opener passing through such poor living conditions as I was off to romp in luxury mere minutes away on my first time to an all-inclusive. I was taken aback and how wrong the contradiction felt.....until I got to my fully stocked suite.

Patriots Drafts have been meh, but they hit on elite QB (it seems) and elite CB. Christian Gonzalez is better than any defensive player we have. It’s the Chiefs thing where there’s misses but they hit on some elite guys at key positions. Theyve also hit on Free Agency at key positions whereas we’re messing around with Curtis Samuel and underwhelming play from some recent extensions. And the Pats are clearly gearing up for a big move or two right now.

Feels like a lose lose situation. They win and it's the Bills super bowl and can't beat them when it counts. If they lose the season is over and aren't going anywhere this year

My point is that the solution to the physician shortage is not to import doctors trained at the University of Streetshittabad. The physician shortage is downstream of a bunch of problems, not the least of which is college/med school admissions and, yes, a cap on funding of residencies to train American doctors.

So the Bills have a lot of injured guys at a position. The GM brings in several guys for a look with I presume the D line coach, position coach, DC and HC, and they pick a guy who will likely be on the practice squad if needed. A guy none of us really have heard of. Yet Beane gets blasted as if he could have reached out and gotten another guy the caliber of Ed Oliver at the drop of a hat. What the hell is wrong with some people? For me I am looking hopefully for a WR trade. But to jump on this DT stuff is silly.

I think Allen has always dealt with anxiety and mind issues related to the pressure of being an NFL QB..it's been talked about and his dealing with sports psychologists has been talked about. I think he has had issues getting out of a funk when he finds himself in one. Right now he's in one of those mental funks. I think he's even seemed a lil strange during his press conferences this year. Then his "my wife taught me in more than just a football player" quote before the last night game in his sit-down interview with I forget who. Not that the quote on its face is a big deal. Everybody is more than what they do for their job, but to say that as a $55M QB in an interview that's going to air before a football game to me was an unforced error, but Allen said it.

I'm quite certain you don't understand the scope of this issue. The child is the anchor that leads to a number of other people living off tax payer provide benefits. If that isn't "taking anything away from you," neither you nor your family pays taxes.

Time for the conspiracy theory angle: Beane and McD realize they backed themselves into a corner. They have mismanaged the salary cap and yes, Jeremy White was right, failed to get a playmaker WR. Given the current roster, they realize that, lacking cap space or any serious cap magic, they know they can’t get that difference making WR or DT to get the Bills a SB win this year. So, use the flood of injuries as an excuse and quietly play for a 2026 reload. We all know how Beane loves his cupboard of draft picks and thinks he is always smarter than the rest of the League in drafting for players in Round 1. He will fix everything “next year”. Let’s see how this plays out if we get handed our heads by KC this weekend. Happy Halloween!
