Week 4, Ain'ts v. Bills, PREDICT THE SCORE!
Robert Paulson replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bills 38 Saints 13 -
on the joe marino show, it was stated that only one guy has an average per catch of over 10 yards on the ain'ts, and that's the TE who is like 11 ypc with not a lot of production. they are going to quick pass, and we suck at stopping the quick pass, so i reserve my right to be a panic fan in teh game day chat as we see that happen. similar to the miami game, i expect NO to need a super great game script to appear to have a chance, we will look bad at times, especially on D, and net net we will walk on them and win by two+ scores.

I donât see the value⊠one issue is you donât know who will opt to go pro vs staying in college another year. Another issue is free agent signings can affect how teams draft. You sign a 4 yr free agent who is 24 or 25 you donât need to draft that position with day 1/2 picks.

This is Buscaglia's summary from the article; "When you sit back and analyze each of the individual breakdowns, several commonalities emerge. Over half of the missed third and fourth-down opportunities were a direct result of a young and inexperienced player being at the fulcrum of the play. The primary trio that seemed responsible was Walker, Sanders and Bishop â all of whom are in their first season of real, down-in and down-out experience. The Bills need all three to be better. With Walker, we saw the young playerâs volatility result in a tremendous individual play late in the game to help force the game-clinching interception, along with some other good reps. Sandersâ role will likel y get smaller upon Ed Oliverâs return, while the Bills will hope that Bishop comes along as the season progresses â and to their credit, Bishop had a good game against the Jets." Buscaglia blames Tre White only for the 7th 3rd down attempt, the corner blitz on which he whiffed. On the 13th 3rd down attempt, Buscaglia describes it thusly: "The Bills, a zone-based team, tried to mix in man coverage on fourth down â but without rushing more than four at Tagovailoa. Some pre-snap motion signaled to the Dolphins that it was man, and the Waddle matchup against White was one to exploit, as Waddle is the far quicker player. The quick crosser through some traffic yielded easy separation and a quick first down. Without a blitzer, it was an interesting call to say the least." On the 14th 3rd down attempt Buscaglia describes it thusly: "The Bills, back in zone coverage this time with a couple of delayed blitzers sent at Tagovailoa, saw White keep backing up into off coverage without someone immediately over the top to help him out. Rather than risk getting burned deep by the speedy Waddle, White wound up three yards past the first down marker. Waddle ran a great route that prevented White from closing on him, and a perfect pass thrown before Waddleâs break to the sideline brought an easy completion."

Ravens at Chiefs - who do you want to have their third loss?
Gregg replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Despite the fact that the Bills haven't beaten the Chiefs in the playoffs and they have beaten the Ravens in the playoffs I would still rather them not the face the Ravens in the playoffs. Last year the Bills won the turnover battle by three and still needed a drop on the two-point conversation to escape with the win. In week one this year the Bills should have lost. Credit them for taking advantage of the Henry fumble and making plays in the final 4-5 minutes to rally for the win but the Bills were outplayed for most the game. I don't like the matchup between the Ravens offense vs the Bills defense. Plus, trying to tackle Henry is like trying to tackle Godzilla. I want no part of the Ravens for the Bills in these playoffs. I would rather take my chances against the Chiefs. For this weekend GO CHIEFS! -
Yeah imagine had they taken Saquon 1st overall and Josh 4th overall. It could have been one of best offenses ever assuming they were able to develop Josh. I'd say they could since Baker was on his way before he played himself through his injury which eventually made them part ways with him. Sterling's issue was his playing career got cut short. When he was playing he was in the discussion as best WR at the time. Similar to Terrell Davis except he didn't have the rings.

All depends on how well Sherrillâs really astounding gaffes can be weaponized against her. Mirage currently but with some money the pressure can really be ramped up leading up to Election Day.

I posted it earlier in the thread but feel like it warrants itâs own post. The Chiefs are currently -200 to make the playoffs. The Ravens are currently -1200. I think thatâs important context. -

We have been outplayed twice in the last two games. Winning turnovers isn't something that can be consistently relied on. We witnessed this in multiple playoff games versus chiefs. -
I vote Mirage. Sheâs a sharp lady with a very impressive rĂ©sumĂ©, but sheâs also unable to control her grotesque impulses. It will be interesting, but Iâm not hopeful at all.

The Bengals have played several years without Burrow because of the stupidity of their FO and the philosophy of their owner, who is more interested in filling his stadium and selling merchandise than in building a team that wins consistently. They are wasting Burrow's prime because they've made the playoffs only twice in Burrow's first five years -- and will miss the playoffs in his sixth year. Their OL sucks, they have no running game, and their defense was historically bad last year and unlikely to improve much. They are dollars against the salary cap, however, and that's the problem. If the salary cap doesn't increase significantly, Philly will be in deep doodoo in a few years.

Lamar jackson has a huge gap of how many people are vocally supporting him on TV (talking pundits and such) and online (baltimore fans are so so active) and his individual (regular season anyhow) accomplishments vs his being in ads. i wanted us to draft him when he was coming out because I though we wouldn't have a shot at a top qb (before our trade ups) and i figued he was just a much better version of tyrod, and we had shady and i had emotionally given up on us ever having a decent traditional passing game unless we had an all world qb from years of abused fan syndrome. i was vocal about allen being great when we moved up and drafted him, but i also liked baker and darnold (shows what i knew, i was not a josh rosen guy, i thought he was to frail). after his first year or two, i was (and still am) aways afraid to play the ravens because they have always had a super talented roster of big nasty fast players and that has always crushed us (nothing made me sadder than seeing the rex ryan jets just mash our faces in, or the game we gave up 300 rushing and passing to the 9ers with the other harbaugh as the corch). in terms of his dominant stats and great regular season record as a starting qb, i kinda hate him by association because i hate the harbaughs so much, and i think similar to his jerk brother baltimore harbaugh is a total front runner, and they pad the hell out of lamar and everyone else's stats in blow out wins vs teams lying prostrate being out of the game in all but physical reality. when they got henry i thought how the hell did the nfl let barclay go to philly and henry go to baltimore? i hate both of those match ups for us. i don't really dislike lamar, and he's obviously a great player, but he wears that uniform and except for stopping kc from going to a superbowl (or maybe miami or the cowboys or some team like that who i generally hate) im pretty much always rooting for them to lose.

Is this legit or a mirage? New Jersey has been moving more to the right in recent years, but is still (I think) a 4-5 point Dem advantage. Would have to be a Glenn Youngkin type campaign, which is tough to do in a midterm year where Râs control the Presidency.

They could be a minor league where 4 teams feed one CFL club with developmental players.

The interesting thing about the 2018 class is that, a lot of us wanted to wait for the 2018 class even before the 2017 draft. It was thought of as one of the greatest classes ever a year in advance. It is like the 2027 WR class looks like. Others like@GunnerBill and @thebandit27 wanted to make a move on 2017. To Banditâs credit he was ALL IN on Mahomes before people were even talking about him as a potential 1st rounder. It would probably be an interesting look in the archives to pull up the conversations that we were having back then about the Bills finding their QB of the future.

The Chiefs are still coasting on their Superbowl appearances and can fade away with no shame. A Ravens loss would put the current regime in hot water -

Unless Spencer Rattler jumps over Groot, we should be alright -
Lamar has a far better chance than Josh to make it if they both retired tomorrow. 3x AP1, 2x MVP, and has the career high passer rating in league history.
